What does crunk mean? We thought it meant drunk but apparently it isnt.
technically it means crazy drunk, but my friends use it as an adjective meaning "awesome" or "cool"- example: "That movie was crunk!" but they are kind of weird. i actually told them that wasn't what it means, that it means crazy drunk, but they just looked at me like i was stupid. so yes, it means crazy drunk and my friends are really dumb.
Ok....i am really addicted to pop....but i wana stop drinking it and i was wonderin if you know how much weight i would lose in a month from just not drinking pop?
if you quit drinking pop and just switched to water you would lose a couple of pounds. not a whole lot, but you would lose a lot more by exercising and eating healthy foods. i have a friend that quit drinking soda for a month and she lost three or four pounds (but she still ate junk food and stuff). it can't do you any harm.
I'm kind of "addicted" to Gatorade. Everytime we go to the store, I buy it. And, instead of buying cokes to keep around the house like I use to, I now buy Gatorade.. and drink atleast 1 a day. Ok, my question is.. Is Gatorade bad for you? And is drinking this much harmful? Should I cut down on any/all/how much?
actually, that's good for you. just don't drink like eighty bottles of it every day. it has all kinds of nutrients and electrolytes and stuff that keeps you going. the only bad part is that there's a lot of sugar, but who cares? gatorade is really good!
this is prolly stupid but ok well i got my period tonight & usually it lasts 6-7 days although there has been a couple times when its only lasted 4-5. umm i really need it gone by monday, or at least a very light flow by then... anything i can do to make it stop/become much lighter by then ? im going to a waterpark, & tampons are NOT an option soo ya. help ?
exercise and eat healthy! that's what i do and it works for me. actually, i exercise regularly anyway, so my periods are like 5-6 weeks apart and they only last for 4-5 days. just be very active and see if that works.
I'm in college. I pay attention in class and review my notes once after class and once every day. If I don't start studying for tests until 2 days before test day, what grades do you think I would get?
My goal is just to not fail any classes and to avoid D's as much as I can.
i think you would pass with flying colors, unless you OVERstudy. my best friend does that a lot. she'll start studying a week before the test and cram for hours the night before, and then she'll get everything mixed up. my sister, however, studies the day before a test (she takes notes and everything) and she was on the dean's list multiple times in college (she graduated from the business school at baylor).
i didnt really know what category this was but i have a little bit of bacne(back acne in case u didnt know) and i have scars from it..how do i get rid of the rest of the bacne and get rid of the scars w/ out spending too much money
you can get oil-free acne washes/scrubs at the drug store, but if you want to go the prescription route, i would suggest going to the dermatologist. they'll tell you exactly what's going on, and they'll give you free samples. i actually went to the dermatologist today for a check up and it was only like twenty bucks. otherwise, try out different products on your back like in the shower. i've heard proactiv is awesome, though i've never tried it (heard about it from a friend). also, clean & clear, biore, neutrogena, clearasil... any of those should do the trick.

okay i don't know what is happening. for the past week or 2 weeks i have been tired all the time. i can never feel awake for some reason and im always yawning. i sleep for about 10-11 hours each night and it doesnt help at all so maybe i'm oversleeping or something im not sure. i dont even usually do much during the day. any ideas for why im so tired all the time?
actually, i think you might be oversleeping. normally people can function with 8 hours of sleep, so maybe 11 is too much for your body to handle. you might want to try eating healthier and exercising... i know that sounds weird, but after i exercise i'm really hyper and pumped up and stuff. just try to be more active during the day so that at night, you're tired from doing stuff during the day!

that's actually quite normal. that happens to me too because i have thick hair. think about it: if your dead hair didn't fall out, then you would have a head full of dead hair that wouldn't grow or anything. it'd just be kind of, well, there. so yes, that is normal.
how do you make labels using miscrosoft word?
i know that i can buy the label itslef,
but how do i format it in mircosoft word?
at microsoft.com, they have different templates for the kind of labels you want. on the package of actual labels it will say how big the labels are, so you can search for that on microsoft.com and it will have a template you can download for free. and all you have to do is type in whatever you want on the label. also, sometimes on the actual label package it has instructions on how to adjust the settings in microsoft word to fit the labels. but if not you can always download a template from microsoft.
I know that this question might of been asked before but I was wondering where I could download a free trial of Photoshop. I've been on download.com and google but somehow I always ended up with one I had to pay. Any help?
& before I asked this question, I searched to see if there were similar questions that could help, but I didn't find anything helpful really.

adobe photoshop? i believe they have a 30 day trial on http://www.adobe.com. i downloaded an adobe program there the other day at work and it works like a charm. if you don't like adobe photoshop, there's also adobe illustrator which is what i use at work. it takes like five thousand years to download, though.
is it true if you put tooth paste on ur pimple before bed it will make it go away?
i've found that it works. you have to rub it in, and then it dries the pimple out. it might not be gone by morning but it will be smaller and less noticeable. don't put the toothpaste on the rest of your face though because it will dry your whole face out. also, be sure your skin isn't so sensitive that it gets irritated when you put toothpaste on it. other than that, go for it! if you really want it to work well, keep rubbing toothpaste on it for like 20 minutes.
i run almost everyday, between 1-2 miles plus i walk 1-2 miles.
in my right outer thigh, it hurts like HELL. like where the muschle is. what can i do to make this feel better so i can run or what could it be?

icy hot should do the trick. if the problem persists, i'd advise not running for like two days. and then start running again. you could have just pulled your muscle, and you might need to give it time to get back to normal. you might also want to go see a doctor because the problem could be more serious than a pulled muscle. good luck!

i'm 15/f... definitely, definitely use the dog. chicks love dogs. actually, just fyi... when new guys move into girls' neighborhoods or schools, they really get excited because it's a potential boyfriend. so even though they might not seem interested in you, it's because they're trying to quit from jumping up and down from excitement. with that said, i think you should wait for her to go outside and then walk the dog up and down the street. i know you're shy (i am too) but if you just force yourself to say "hey" to her, she will probably strike up a conversation. then, get to know her a bit, maybe over the course of a week (just like, talking to her every now and then when you walk the dog). okay, so then a week after you've introduced yourself, ask her if she wants to hang out sometime. after hanging out, she'll fall in love with you and then you'll live happily ever after. good luck!
I'm 13/f and I live in Texas. My mom is starting to make me use my own money to buy clothes and cosmetics. The problem is, I have no way to make enough money. My mom says I could do work around the house, but she pays me SO little! Say, $1 to do the dishes and 50 cents to water the plants outside. I used to get an allowence but ever since my parents divorce, money is tight (my dad actually makes a lot of money but he's kind of selfish and will no longer give my mom the money to give me an allowence) so I don't get it anymore. I have tried babysitting by passing oout flyers, but no one even called me; my mom says I'm too young. What should I do??? I REALLY need to find a way to earn some money...the only way I get it now is when my grandparents give me an extra $5 bill sometimes when I visit(AFTER my mom tries to persuade them not to!)HELP!!!
you can always get your friends to help you out with a car wash, bake sale, yard sale, you name it! a yard sale will give you a chance to clean out your closet anyway to make room for new stuff. you have to be 15 to get an actual job, however. this is going to sound really stupid, but... do you have a goodwill in your town? or even second-hand clothes stores? you might want to just go look in those because there are many bargains and sometimes there isn't even anything wrong with the clothes! i've seen clothes from gap and american eagle at my local goodwill. and usually, shirts are only 50 cents there. you have to really look to find the normal clothes but once you do find them, it's really cheap and worth it. you could also ask your neighbors if they have any odd jobs they'd like you to do... perhaps pet-sitting or dog walking or something, mowing the lawn, stuff like that. i don't know how old you have to be to have a paper route, but you could also try one of those. good luck!

Hi, I'm Patricia, and I'm 22 years old. My friends are in the 22-28 year old range.
I have an empty double garage under my apartment. My friends and I have no where really to hang out. So, we baught a pool table, a dartboard and a small bar so we could solve our problem. I wanted the "bar/billiard room" to sort of have a beach feel to it so I strung up some old x-mas lights across the ceiling and I baught a bunch of mirrors and beach posters for the walls. I want to get some neon signs and beer/liquor posters, lights, clocks, whatever, but I can't find any that aren't extremely expensive. Maybe thats just the way it is, but I thought surely someone on here had done this before and might have some tips on where I could get cheap stuff. We're getting ready to throw a birthday party for a friend and I want to decorate with maybe some raffia and what-not, but I don't want it to look extremely tacky. just a little tacky! Haha. Like a beach club or something. Any ideas on what I could do decoration wise inexpensively or beach party ideas, advice would be appreciated!!!
go to walmart or any other stores in your area that carry party decorations- they'll surely have some beachy themed items you can leave up all year long. also, ebay is the memorabilia collector's friend. browse around for a while and you'll be sure to find posters, clocks, signs, and all sorts of random crap on there for cheap. of course, i've found that the best way to decorate is to pace yourself and only add stuff that you really love. for example, my room is decorated kind of weirdly, but that's just because people keep giving me random crap for my birthday and for christmas and stuff. it's been an accumulated thing. so don't freak out if you don't have enough money all at once to buy all this stuff because if you mention that you REALLY want something to your friends or family members, they might get it for you for christmas or a birthday. that's a really random thing to tell somebody, but it's the truth. one time my dad's friends all pitched in and bought him a budweiser neon sign that had a red fender stratocaster-type guitar surrounded by neon lighting. if you keep checking ebay, you'll find that they have all sorts of things that nobody wants that will go perfectly in your room! good luck :)
I'm having a beach themed bday party for a friend whos turning 26. I want to make a rum cake and maybe grill some lime chicken w/ rice, and have a fruit tray with pineapples and mangoes and coconuts but I need some more ideas. I don't have a good recipe for a rum cake(neither does my granny). If anybody has any ideas for beach themed food-I need some, the party is in 2 weeks!
Oh, also, if I chose to do the rice pilaf thing, how do I buy it and prepare it for about 10-15 people??? I'm no cook and I'm clueless.
in my opinion, the tortuga rum cake company makes the best rum cakes out there. they're really popular in the cayman islands. if i were you, i would order a few big cakes online (http://www.tortugarums.com/) instead of having to go through cooking them. you won't have to worry about them spoiling because they're good for about a year. my favorite flavors are the original, banana, coconut, and pineapple. for about 10-15 people i would order two 33 oz. cakes because they're big and really filling (they're delish). personally i think that grilling chicken kabobs would be a good idea too. you just put chunks of chicken and pineapple on skewers, grill them, and voila! instant good food. you might even want to add some jamaican jerk seasoning to the chicken (you can find it at the grocery store, it adds a little kick to the chicken). if all else fails, stick with the fruit tray because nobody can resist a fruit tray :)
Has anyone ever purchased anything thing from Oriental Trading Company? I'd like to buy some party supplies from them, but I'm always weary of online buying. Are they a safe site to order from? They have a Hacker check.
i love oriental trading! i get their magazine every month (for no particular reason, i just like to look) and sometimes i order stuff. like, when my mom has sponsored parties at my school in the past (like, we're talking 2nd grade here) she picked out little party favors from there and ordered them. they are very safe to order from, and cheap too :)

it depends on how big your pics are, but as i recall, a 2 gig holds about 1,500-2,000 pics (my pics are 5 megapixels so it may differ). my 512 memory card holds about 800 pics, my 256 holds about 400 pics, and my 128 holds about 200 pics. i've seen some flash drives at best buy that were like twenty bucks but i don't know what size they were. check circuit city or best buy or even radio shack. however much money it is, it's definitely worth getting one because it's so handy... i keep a 128 in my backpack so that i can put word docs and pics on it for school stuff (i'm editor of the yearbook staff so i'm always having to get files back and forth from my house to school).
