okay i don't know what is happening. for the past week or 2 weeks i have been tired all the time. i can never feel awake for some reason and im always yawning. i sleep for about 10-11 hours each night and it doesnt help at all so maybe i'm oversleeping or something im not sure. i dont even usually do much during the day. any ideas for why im so tired all the time?
PunkieFreak4690 answered Monday July 31 2006, 1:48 am: You probably have low metabolism. Some common causes could be being overweight or obesity, not eating right, or exercising. If any of these apply to you try fixing your diet and exercise more, or if they don't, then contact your Doctor. In some, yet rare cases, it could be something serious. Lola answered Thursday July 27 2006, 2:10 am: hey,
I know exactly what you are going through, because i go through it every single day. Now i am very weak and i always need a boost of energy, thats why i sleep day and night.
I practically sleep 16 hours a day,and if i don't, then i always have bags under my eyes, and they feel really heavy. I am just always tired.
Thats why i will tell you what i do, and it really does help sometimes, you can take vitamins and drink juices with lots of sugar, and eat toffees or bonbons to keep you energetic.
And drink lots of water. And exercising also helps alot to keep up one's energy. yOu should go for long walks and you could also run everyday. It all makes you feel fresh and energetic.
Other than that, to be on the safe side, you have to see a doctor and consult him on your condition and take his opinion.
And if you need any other help,or advice. Then please be free to contact me. [ Lola's advice column | Ask Lola A Question ]
Hrcoole answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 11:33 pm: OK, hi I believe you answered your own question. Your getting to much sleep. My advice to you is go to bed around maybe 10 or 11 and then get up like about 8 or 8:30. You will feel sleepy for a bit when you get up but after awhile like a couple days your body will just get used to you sleeping less. and doing more during the day will definitly help. then by the time you go to bed you will be really tired and when you wake up you should be refreshed.
fabulous11 answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 10:32 pm: When you sleep longer than normal it makes you more tired. It is better to get less sleep like 8 hours that is the normal reccomended hours of sleep. Try to only sleep 8 hours and see how you feel.
uisforukelele answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 9:59 pm: actually, i think you might be oversleeping. normally people can function with 8 hours of sleep, so maybe 11 is too much for your body to handle. you might want to try eating healthier and exercising... i know that sounds weird, but after i exercise i'm really hyper and pumped up and stuff. just try to be more active during the day so that at night, you're tired from doing stuff during the day! VirgoStar99 answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 9:38 pm: try eating something that will make you hyper.(candy possibly :]) and also think about stuff like parties or whatever and try putting music on. :] [ VirgoStar99's advice column | Ask VirgoStar99 A Question ]
emilyy answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 9:36 pm: This happens to me if I don't eat healthy food, exercise and get from 8-10 hours of sleep.
Try jogging during the day (or playing a sport, just some type of exercise) and eating lots of fruits and vegetables. Also go to bed in the early evening (around 10) and getting up around 8 in the morning
If you don't start to get more energy within a week or two I would go to the doctor to make sure there isn't a medical reason why you're so tired.
