Games do usually run faster on Macs because they are based on the Unix kernel, which has better memory management than the NT(windows) kernel. A Mac with 512MB will be faster than a PC with 512MB, but not faster than a PC with 1GB. Macs usually come with low amounts of RAM, so this could slow you down compared to a PC.

In your problem, x= -1.75. You find this by dividing -4 by 7(7/-4). The variable x is being multiplied by -4 to equal 7.
x*-4=7
You "undo" multiplication by dividing one of then numbers from both sides.
x*-4=7
-------------(division)
-4 -4
After you divide -4 from both sides, -4 is eliminated from the left side and 7 turns into -1.75
x=-1.75

My computer plays horrible and random music 24/7 when I turn on the computer. I've tried to run a virus scan(verizon) everyday and it never seems to solve the problem. The weird thing is that the music continues to play when there are no programs running. it seems like I've tried everything and I don't know what to do.

I just made a facebook and I meant to set it to class of 2011. but I set it to '07 instead. I went under education to change it, except it still says '07 in my facebook?! How do i change it so it says 2011 for my school year?

**You aren't informed of my edits, and I can't respond directly to feedback, so please send questions directly to me in the future(click my name, then "ask question" on the right). You need a USB external drive because I doubt you have a firewire connection. An external drive is mostly the same as a regular drive, and you can store anything on it. The difference between an internal and external is:
-External is cheaper
-You can't run an OS from an external, you can't boot from it
-External is usually slower.
You can transfer mp3s to and from the external drive. If you meant an mp3 *player*, you would do it the normal way, the files would just be located in a different area. The external drive can be accessed in "my computer", but it has a different letter, probably "Local Drive(E:)".**
Turn off you computer, unplug it, and open it up. Find the hard drive, it looks like this:

Follow the cables on the hard drive to their source. One will go to a big box with a bunch of little wires(the power supply):

you need a SATA. If the cable looks like this:

you need IDE(sometimes called ATA). The connector should be 20 pins long, if not you have a non-standard configuration and you'll need to tell whoever you're buying from how many pins there are. If buying your hard drive from a store, ask them for an "IDE hard drive" or "SATA hard drive". If from the internet(much better deals) look in the title. This is SATA: " Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM". See how it says "SATA" in it.
The other thing you need to know is how much space the disk has. In drive storage only, 1GB=1000MB, 300GB=300000MB; this is different than normal(1GB=1024MB) because the manufacturers are evil and greedy. 1GB will usually hold one two-hour movie, of medium video quality. You need 15GB to run windows well, and I recommend at least 30GB, which will last you a while if you don't download a lot. I personally *do* download a lot, so I have two drives totaling 550GB.(My 300GB drive is used for storing my collection of... linux distributions. My 250GB is used to store the OS and programs of Ubuntu, Vista, and XP, I triple-boot with GRUB. If you want a similar arrangement, be sure to install XP, then Vista, then Ubuntu. Just in case you were interested :) )
The other numbers they'll give you don't matter as much. Here's an explanation, though:
-RPM: How fast the disk spins. You don't need to know this.
-xGB/s: X is a number, like 3GB/s. This is how fast data is read and written.
-xMB cache: X is a number, like 12MB cache. This is the disk cache, and it increases the writing speed a bit.

PS, if your hard drive is not full or broken, you don't need a new one, just ask a question about the actual problem. If it is broken, you need an internal, not external. If you've run out of space, get an external drive(USB, not firewire).

Well my CPU usage is usually or always on 7-9% but after i download codecs it keeps switching between 40-98% which is kinda worrying me.

That is bad, the codec is probably malware. CPU usage is how many calculations your computer is performing. 98% means your computer is performing 98% of the maximum calculations it can perform at once. If one program uses all of your CPU power, it makes your computer slower and uses more electricity. As I said in your other question, uninstall it and install k-lite full codec pack.

will I downloaded my codec to let me play certain videos and it worked.
later i went on to paly the videos but they won't wokr anymore and i have no idea where or how to activate my codec.

Uninstall that codec and restart your computer. Download and install the full(first) version of this codec pack:

In installation, select "lots of stuff" in the dropdown and the "all users" radio button(on different screens, and maybe not in that order). After you're done, your computer will play nearly every video file.

When you look into space, you're looking back in time. If you look back far enough, you can see the Big Bang. Scientists have been able to see areas they think are very near the Big Bang, and so they know about when it happened. They also have observed how fast the universe is expanding. With this info they're easily able to guess how much stuff is in the universe.

I read through the web site,there werent many contradictions...just questions about the bible...most of which I can answer myself...The contradictions that were found arent even contradictions! There phrases taken out of the bible that are spoken of figurativly, that people cant understand. Jesus spoke in figures of speech, he says it himself in the bible. We take things to literally now and that why most have a hard time understanding. for example...the bread and wine that we drink for comunion...its reffered to by Jesus as hid body and blood..but you dont see them actually EATING Jesus do you?
There is one thing however that stands out to me about mormons and what I consider their contradictions...it seems that alot of there passages have been doctored up to fit the times, the revelations that their leaders have are convenient...like how black people were not excepted into their church because they believed that they bore the cursed mark of cain (black skin) SUDDENLY in the 80's its OKAY for black people to join...Im sorry, but was this really a revelation, or simply a buckling under the pressures of society for exceptance and equality. NOWHERE in Christianity do we change our prophicies like that.
Also, I am a christian...I believe what I believe and no one else. Yes I will admit that your parents have much influense on what you do believe...but I think that christians are in NO comparison to mormons...christians are advised to study other religions and beliefs...even attend another service to better further their knowledge of other religions, Mormons however are forbidden to read certain scriptures, listen to certain people, and so on and so on...the ONLY bible thay are allowed to study from and view is the King James version....Sorry this is so long, but I like your response. Christianity was made for the times as well, just a very long time ago. For example, there are many examples of polygamy in the bible, but because the Romans didn't like polygamy, the church decided Monogamy was the only way to go.
Christianity has changed its viewpoint on many things as well, most notably the status of women. In the bible women are treated like property, and even fairly recently this has been supported by the church. Pressure from governments and activists has changed their position(for the most part). This is good! Religions should change with the times, but many, including Christianity, are resistant to change.
Think of the differences between Christian sects(Lutheran, Catholic, Protestant, etc.). They've all diverged from what was originally believed; it can't be said Christianity doesn't change its opinion.

Okay...So I have this question for all mormons out there...and hey even if your not I want you to respond...Ive just done alot of studying about the mormon religion and am so confused...not at the facts or anything, but why, if truly knowing their background mormons would believe what they are taught. The religion contradicts itself in so many ways that it just cracks me up. Please know that this is not a bash towards any mormons out there.
