I'm looking to find running programs that are hidden in the backgroud of my computer, because my computer is running very slow when nothing is running and there are no viruses.

if you end the ones you know you aren't using it speeds up your computer a lot
Zahhy answered Sunday July 8 2007, 12:35 am: This may be a stupid response, but have you run any spyware programs, like Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy?
If you don't have these programs, you can download
Ad-Aware from [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and Spybot S&D from [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Both are free downloads, and will remove malicious programs and files from your computer, usually resulting in a faster running time.
There is a way to see exactly what processes are running hidden, but unfortunately I'm not to sure how you do that :( [ Zahhy's advice column | Ask Zahhy A Question ]
