Mormons

Question Posted Friday July 6 2007, 10:38 pm

Okay...So I have this question for all mormons out there...and hey even if your not I want you to respond...Ive just done alot of studying about the mormon religion and am so confused...not at the facts or anything, but why, if truly knowing their background mormons would believe what they are taught. The religion contradicts itself in so many ways that it just cracks me up. Please know that this is not a bash towards any mormons out there. I love all of you, I just dont "get" you....So please, explain what makes you faith so strong? And Im one to respond to my answers so be warned that I will write to you again. Thanks guys!!???

not to critize others, but the LDS church really does not condrict at all. true not every members is "live" the way they teach, but I really haven't meet any religion that has. if a gunman who is cathloic (this is only hypothical) goes into a bank and robes it, will that make all cathloics theives? of course not.

if you were refering to doctrine belives not makeing sence, may I suject you take a step back as you would if you were a 2nd grader looking at collage level Algibra. the problem with alot that is out there on the latter day saints is that people today like living in an "instent" world. people want to know what they want to know, and not what they need to know. this probly isn't helping so'll explain. a baby learns to crawl then to stand, then to walking, then to running. what would happen if a baby trys to run before he learns to walk, it isn't going to work, the child will fall. it is the same with learn about the latter day saints.

with out know your question you don't understand, I can go no further. but I'll be happy to anwser any questions you do have.

O by the way, not all members are in the church because of there parents. myself being one of them. I am a member not because I was born into it or my parents made me to be part of it, I wanted to be part of this church because God has awsered my prayers through the power of the Holy Ghost.

I hope this helps you

The same can be said about Christianity. Here's a list of 385 contradictions in the Christian bible:

Mormons believe it because their parents were Mormon or they thought the Mormons were really nice people. They don't care about the contradictions. Same goes for Christians.
