activating my codec

will I downloaded my codec to let me play certain videos and it worked.

later i went on to paly the videos but they won't wokr anymore and i have no idea where or how to activate my codec.

And there's other users on my computer but the codec isn't effecting on their acocunts, how can I activate it on theirs too?

Uninstall that codec and restart your computer. Download and install the full(first) version of this codec pack:

In installation, select "lots of stuff" in the dropdown and the "all users" radio button(on different screens, and maybe not in that order). After you're done, your computer will play nearly every video file.
