I recently just lost a pet. Well, actually my cat, Precious, was an outdoor cat. She'd come in and out of the house frequently, but was always home in time for bed.
One day we let her out, and by bed time she didn't come back. Okay, she's been out during the night, no big prob. But, she never returned.
My cat and I were very close. I'm having a hard time dealing with this, and I find myself calling out her name. It doesn't matter if I'm working, or thinking about something else, I'll just start randomly calling out for her.
And my job as a cashier with a grocery store hasn't been much help either. Just seeing and selling cat food makes me all that depressed. And cats I see when I'm outside drive me to tears.
I don't know how to deal! She's been gone for about three months now! How can I deal? (link)

Your story has brought me to tears. A year ago I lost my baby, T.C. (top cat). I've never had a cat run away or something, but I imagine it would feel like this empty hope that she would come back one day....I guess I'm not helping too much. After I lost T.C. I cried so much. BUT...I did have my other baby cat to get me through it. I agree with the others. You should adopt another cat and it might help ease the pain of your loss. It's completely normal and healthy to grieve but don't lose yourself.
I hope I helped!

do guys think its unnatrictive when your hip bones like stick out and they're a little wider than the rest of your body? xoxo (link)
|
Heh. I don't think so. Bigger hips give you a more matured and developed look. There's nothing wrong with that. Besides, I don't think guys pay too much attention to anything......no offense!!!!
hope i helped!

Does anyone know where I can get a fake flower to put in my hair, or one with a pin in it so I can pin-up my hair. I know, I'm sorry that sounds so vague but that's the best way I could describe it. I'll rate high! (link)

Try Michael's. I'm not sure if they have one near you but I once found fake daisies with bendy stems...i wore them in my hair....

I can't find the perfect boyfriend. I tried sticking to one boy but something messes it up. I just hate walking down the halls in school and see couples around me. I never tried putting myself out there, lol. Is there something wrong with me? I sometimes think I'd be lonley forever. I daydream of me in a steady, smooth relationship. But, I can't find the perfect boyfriend to share my feeling and secrets.
I need someone to help me out on this one!
Thanks (link)

Well of course you're not going to find the perfect boyfriend! Not yet!! I'm going to assume that you are...around 14. The point of dating is to find someone special and rule out the people you don't want to be with....usually you find your "perfect man" when you're a LOT older, hon. Ya know, the whole marrage thing. You will feel like the only one without a boyfriend a lot. A lot of girls do. You don't NEED a boy, you merely WANT one. If you really want someone to share your feelings and secrets with, try a girl friend (friend that's a girl)!! They can be more....um....tactful than boys. Mostly people who are in their early teens accually aren't really ready for a reall relationship. Most couples only go out for a few weeks at the most where I live. It's crazy! You shouldn't care about what other people are doing. Don't jump at the first chance you get. Go with a guy because you care about him, not just because everyone else is doing it!

Okay so I'm 14 (girl btw) ...5'0 and I'm about 85 pounds. I obviously have a high metabolism and I have to gain 95ish pounds before xmas or... I'm going to the hospital because my mom thinks I have an eating disorder (i dont) How do I gain weight and actually "keep it up" ? (link)
|
Wow, your mom wants you to be 180lbs??? Now that's really unhealthy! Weeeeeelllll......I think I have two answer thingies...
1. If you are accually eating unproperly:
Make sure you eat 3 square meals a day! Just because you might need to gain a little weight doesn't mean you should "junk it up"!! Have lots of protein and calcium!!!
2. If you are eating properly:
Then who cares!! You could just be naturally skinny! Some people are, some people.....aren't.
-------------------
Personally I don't think that 85lbs is a appropriate weight for someone who is 14 and 5ft tall. You do need to gain a little weight.

okay, me and my boyfriend have a long distance relationship. i moved because none of our family ((or sum "friends")) wanted us going out. my mom hates him and his mom hates me. then was in november. well all of the sudden he's stopped talking to me. it's been 5 weeks and i've left him messages and e-mails. he hasnt responded to any of them. whut do i do next?
*heartbroken.. (link)
|
I know it sounds hard, but try to move on. Long distance relationships hardly ever work out. I would know. Long story. Most likely he has found another girl that he cares about. You should find someone yourself! Try to keep your mind off of him. Do think that will help! Go running at 5 AM (I tried it once...i was too tired lol)....or learn something new. Talk to someone who will listen, understand, and won't judge you. Forget him! If he doesn't have the decency to tell you the truth, (or talk to you at all) then he's not worth your emotions.
Hope I helped!!

I love ballroom dance. It's a lot of fun to me and I thoroughly enjoy it. But this year, I'm going to have new teachers. The classes are split up by grade. My boyfriend and I were going to take it together, but he's older than I am, and we're not in the same class. My other friend is the same age as me, but started kindergarten before me, is also in a different class than I am. I don't want to do dance without a friend, because being alone scares me. It scares the living daylights out of me. My mom says I have to take the class, and I really like dance; but I'm afraid to do it alone. Being alone is my biggest fear. My parents said I could talk to the teachers, and perhaps they would accept me into the second class, but not to get my hopes up. Is there anything that you would reccomend me saying to the teachers? ... "Yeah, I'm terrified of doing stuff alone, so let me into the class." - No. I don't think that's gonna cut it. Any suggestions? Help me please. I really don't want to do this alone...
Thank you, in advance! (link)

When you think about it, this could be a great oppertunity. You could make so many new friends. Try to be brave!! You never know, someone could be just as afraid as you. Give it a chance!! If you don't like it, then ask a teacher if you can change. It's right not to get your hopes up. Teahcers can be very judgemental!! I wore a skirt once, and somehow it got pulled up and one of my teachers said,"Could you PLEASE pull down your skirt?" She made it sound like I was a...well....yeah. If you want to try talking to your teacher about it, say something like,"Excuse me,Mr./Ms./Mrs. Whatever, could you please consider letting me into the second class? I don't feel confortable...."
Hope I helped!

whats a good way to sorta spice up my hair? My hair is about an inch or two below my shoulders, i have sideswept bangs, and i wear a sidepart. I usually wear my hair just striaght or up. Any ideas to make my style a little more interesting and different? (link)
|
Wow, what a coincidence (sp?)! I used to have my hair like that a couple years ago, except I had a centre part. Well, you could try different styles and stuff. Here are a few simple tips:
1.Highlight your hair or change it's colour.
This summer i highlighted my hair a bright fuscia. It only lasted about a week (the sun, the pool, whatever) but usually red fades quickly. But that's not nessisarily a bad thing! Colors usually fade to a blonde, I guess depending on your natural colour. Try out some natural and maybe even some not-so-natural colours. Try spray on stuff for colour coordinating.
2.Try different "dos"
If you want simple, go for the classic ponytail or braids. For something eyecatching, go for the clip it up (so your hair is sticking up) then gel it. Something along those lines. Of course they're is always the put gel in your hair when it's wet then let it air dry thing, for crunchy waves.
3. Make sure it's not frizzy.
Personally I recomend Ion...defrizz....stuff....or shine in a bottle. Make sure you spray at a distance so your hair doesn't look greasy.
4. Be Confident!
Do you think your hair looks great? In most situations if you feel good about your hair, people will think it looks good. It's the same thing with outfits and stuff. And if a girl acts confident about her body, guys will like her a lot more. It's practically the same thing!!!
Hope that wasn't too-too long!!

Theres this boy I've known like 6 years.. me and him just started messin around and he knows I care deeply for him ... aka like him. I love him.. but he doesnt know it, i guess. But we just had sex, and I sleep over his house sometimes and we cuddle kiss... and he kisses my forehead and tells me 'Goodnight beautiful' .. but when everyone else is around hes rude to me and he ignores me. He doesnt call me anymore, he doesnt even IM me much. But his friends all tell me he likes me, and right now I'm trying to ask him how he feels - and he wont friggen answer me! I'm 17 years old, I know I can find someone older than me that wont play games (hes only 15).. but I cant help the way I feel about him. (link)
|
Oh geez. I'm thirteen so I don't know if I can help you that much. I'll try. Ok well first of all I personally think you shouldn't be having sex. You're too young and not married....yeah, I know, I sound like your mother. Putting that aside, if he treats you like crap when he's not sleeping with you....maybe he only wants your body. Just a thought. Hope I helped!!

(link)

Ok, well, for one thing, I don't think he's a really great boyfriend. You can do better! Maybe he thinks you won't mind all of this because he's gone out with you before. Set him straigh! Tell him how you feel! If he doesn't listen, dump him! Like I said, you can do better.

Haha, nothing is wrong with you. The whole "liking someone so much you're crying" thing has happened to a lot of people. ME!!! Again, nothing is wrong with feeling funny about him liking you. It was really brave of you to tell him you like him; I could never do that!!!
