Question Posted Wednesday August 10 2005, 11:45 pm
whats a good way to sorta spice up my hair? My hair is about an inch or two below my shoulders, i have sideswept bangs, and i wear a sidepart. I usually wear my hair just striaght or up. Any ideas to make my style a little more interesting and different?

i think that would look really cute w/ your hair.
when you put your hair up you should put ribbons in it .. if that your style. those are cute.
and also earrings.. yeah not really your hair.. but its close. earrings can make a hair style look so diffrent.
blondiie2 answered Thursday August 11 2005, 1:16 pm: omg my hair is exactly like that!! but anyway lol.. you could :
1. Pull half of your hair up ..
2.Scrunch it
all you do is : Wash your hair( or just wet it) towel dry it but your hair still has to be half wet.. brush your hair.. then get mousse or hair gel.. and put it in your hands and like push ur hair up and once it starts to get like scrunched.. hair spray your hair and keep doing that till you get your hair the way you like it !
3. get a curling iron and curl it..
4. wear your hair down and just pull your bangs back with bobby pins..
5. do like two french braids and just bobby pn and hair spray your bangs back
6. wear your hair down.. and just like put like 3 small braid through your hair !
givingbackmonday answered Thursday August 11 2005, 1:35 am: you could scrunch it
wear it in a mess bun
wear your hair in a pony tail, but then pull your bangs back and clip with bobbypins but make sure its a little poofy (kinda confusing)

1.Highlight your hair or change it's colour.
This summer i highlighted my hair a bright fuscia. It only lasted about a week (the sun, the pool, whatever) but usually red fades quickly. But that's not nessisarily a bad thing! Colors usually fade to a blonde, I guess depending on your natural colour. Try out some natural and maybe even some not-so-natural colours. Try spray on stuff for colour coordinating.
2.Try different "dos"
If you want simple, go for the classic ponytail or braids. For something eyecatching, go for the clip it up (so your hair is sticking up) then gel it. Something along those lines. Of course they're is always the put gel in your hair when it's wet then let it air dry thing, for crunchy waves.
3. Make sure it's not frizzy.
Personally I recomend Ion...defrizz....stuff....or shine in a bottle. Make sure you spray at a distance so your hair doesn't look greasy.
4. Be Confident!
Do you think your hair looks great? In most situations if you feel good about your hair, people will think it looks good. It's the same thing with outfits and stuff. And if a girl acts confident about her body, guys will like her a lot more. It's practically the same thing!!!
