Ok..I have a very, very irregular period..but I got on birthcontorl because I didn’t have a cycle for atleast 4 months, so for about 2 weeks I got on birthcontal and the whole to weeks I was on my perriod, and it made my tummy hurt so I stoped taking it! And about 2 or 3 weeks after that me and my boyfriend had sex 9times without a comden, and I was off the pill, and he did not pull out…so is there a possaiblety that I migth be pergant..even thought my period is very irregular? yes, most definetely there is still a chance, because regardless of wether youre bleeding or not, you could stil be ovulating at anytime, and that is how you get pregnant. jsut be more careful next time, and get a pregnancy test in a few short weeks to check everything out.

Hello, im 15 and just started a new school. I got split up from my friends i've been with for a long time, and its tough findign you way through a new place. My good friend is in lots of danger. she has had multiple relationships in the last while, and has changed completely. she talks about drugs, and sex. some people choose to have sex young, but I dont think my friend is making the right choices. she barely talks to me anymore, and shes the kind of person that will end up pregnant or addicted to drugs because she is soo stubborn and always fails to see the danger in situations like these. I tried talking to her but I knwo shes just lying to me...what do I do? (link)

3 things for you to understand:
1. your friend is a big gurl- regardless of wether you want to acknowledge that or not. i understand you just want to look out for her, but let her emake her own decisions good or bad.
2. how dare you say that she will end up pregnant or addicted to drugs becuase shes stubborn!!!! wat a friends you are- you sound more like her mother than her friend on this one. i think that if she knew you said that about her that would be the ened of things between you , so why would you risk something like that?- i think that is very rude of you to make such an assumption.
3. wether she realizes shes making bad decisions or not, she WILL do what she wants- regardless of how you feel about it. just give her her space, and let her be for now. thats all you can do without making things worse.

i dont think this sounds like a final decision on his part- i think its more of an emotional problem. he peobably assumes that at least for now, if he talks to you, he'll feel abslutely horrible for what happened, and it would break his heart to know that you probably wish things were different. jsut stick it out for a little while, and if he doesnt contact you after that, then make an attemp to talk to him, and tell him EXACLTY how you feel.

I found out that quite a few classmates of mine have tried marijuana or weed. This really shocked me because I didn't think highschoolers did that sort of thing, or that drugs were even available. They told me that the drugs really aren't that bad, that they're actually safer than cigarettes, and that they aren't addictive. Are they right? How many highschoolers do drugs usually? Am I naive to have believed that? (link)

actually, i would think that smoking weed is probably most common among people in highg school than any other age. it is extremely common.im very surprised that you were so in the dark on this one. no offense, but you know what i mean. well, condsider everything they told you about them false, becuase none of it seems to be true. they are extremely bad, and can cause people to act ompletely different and make hugely wrong decisions. ive had them ruin friendships, on more occasions than one. they are not in any way safer than cigarrettes. they cause jsut as much bodily damage to you than cigarettes, and if you get caught with it on the streets, youll be in much moretrouble than you would if you had cigarettes on you. MUCH more trouble. so, take this as a warning. people will tell you watevr they want to about drugs, becuase theyre in denial,and think that what theyre doing is perfectly normal, when its not.

I have been having pain on my left side of my jaw on the bottom like underneath my skin. it hurts to touch it, or to turn my head. i know i didnt break it, because i dont remeber ever hitting it. is it because i use my vocal chords to much?

Hi,
I recently had sex for the first time. We had penetrative sex but he did not cum inside me as he was not wearing a condom. Is is still possible to get pregnant. Also, when does someone officially lose their virginity? I was expecting bleeding but there wasn't any. ther tenseness sounds normal to me, its probably that you were just nervous- but al in all- theres no way tht your body shows that you arent a virgin anymore, but from what you have told me- youre definetely not anymore- blood or not. and most definetely, you can get pregnant that way. dont want to get into too much detail but yes, you can. be careful next time!!!!!!

I was talking to my best friend on the phone yesterday. (She's a girl, im a guy.) And she said she liked me. I like her too, and I told her that. It should be easy to figure what to do next but it's not. We want to be more then friends but were afraid of ruining our friendship if something happens. Also, she is afraid it would be too weird but I don't think it would. So I guess Im asking, should I ask her out? i see it as more of a mutual decision. i wouldnt go all out and ask her out. it sounds to me like the two of you care alot about each other- which is a HUGE plus in any relationship. i think you both should talk about what to do next. the only reason the whole situation is awkward is because you havent talked about it. the only thing is that you have to respect each other's wants- if she says she doesnt want to, or vice versa, i would hope you would both respect that. other than tht, theres not too much else to tell you except good luck.

[16,f] So, in about 10 days I'm going to the gyno. I've never been and I really don't want to go. I know that part of the procedure is sticking metal instruments inside "there." Now, I'm not a virgin. I've only had sex a couple of times. My friend says that to judge what size instrument you need they ask if you're a virgin or not, and if not, they use larger instruments. I really don't want it to be any larger than it has to be. AT ALL. So my question is this, should I lie, and say I am? Or tell the truth? Or maybe just say I prefer a smaller one? Also, I know they question you about whether or not you are sexually active. Will they ask my mom to leave the room or what? usually gynecologists working on teens know that they wish to keep many things private. the one i went to to get a pap smear(which is the only thing they'd do that would require using instruments)was very private, and took me in another room than my stepmom, and asked me all the questions, as far as i know- none of the answers got back to her, even though she had already known that i was sexually active. i definetely would not lie to them though. theyre only doing their job, and lies dont make it any easier for them. and no, they dont ask if youre a virgin or not so that theyll know what size to use!- thts bullcrap. its the same allover, and its really not that big. it might seem huge, but it really feels no different than a tampon. in all, the first visit is always the scariest, althoguh there's really not too much to worry about. just stay calm, and realize that no matter how weird it sounds- your doctor has looked at many more women than you before, and all of your concerns are nothing he/ she hasnt heard before.

i hate to be the bearer of such bad news, but there is NO way to get around all this- you have to tell your parents every detail. or youll end up screwing somebody over in the long run. i myself am pregnant, and going through tough times- if you need sumone to talk to, im here for ya.

youre required to take a behind the wheel class before you can get your permit. if your school doesnt provide it, then you have to go to a driving school. its not a matter of if its worth going, its a matter of having to go if you want your license.

I don't know if this goes here but here goes...Iam 17 and I still sleep with my mom,I don't sleep with her as much as I use to becouse i relize that iam a little old to be sleeping with her,but when I start thinking about my dad who died when i was about 12 I get so upset that I can't sleep so I end up crawling in bed with my mom and my stepdad gets up and sleeps on the couch so I can have more room,but i was wondering why do I do this when iam 17 I think i may have some kind of mental disorder.Is there a disorder that cause this?what are some ways that I can start to sleep in my room or at least on the couch in the living room?please help me! i really dont think theres anything worng with you. i think that when you think of your daddy, you jsut want comfort from your momma,after all- she went through it all with you. shes your support, and she always will be. i think your mom is a very strong woman for not even getting frustrated with you when you sleep in her bed, time after time. i give her major props.
