Why Wont They Talk To Me?
ok well my parents have split and my dad wont takl to me.He said that it would be best if we didn't talk Bu thow am i supost to life without talking to the one other person who gave me life?

ur dad has absolutely no right not to talk to you. you're his child and you should keep in contact. u can tell him that u love your parents equally, and you want your relationship with them to stay strong. remember that none of this is your fault. all tension is between your parents. hope this helps! ♥ arlyn

i dont think this sounds like a final decision on his part- i think its more of an emotional problem. he peobably assumes that at least for now, if he talks to you, he'll feel abslutely horrible for what happened, and it would break his heart to know that you probably wish things were different. jsut stick it out for a little while, and if he doesnt contact you after that, then make an attemp to talk to him, and tell him EXACLTY how you feel.

wow yeah thats stupid. my dad is sorta the same he doesnt know how to keep up communication with me. but i call him every day and force him to talk to me. my mom has some disabilities and my dad has to spend time with me when shes in the hospital, but as far as everyday life, sometimes dads are idiots and you just have to be the one to make the relationship work. tell him that you need him. It's his responsibility as your father to spend time with you wether he likes you or not. and you can always try talking to your mom or your grandparents or other family to see what they say. I'm sure that if you tell your dad that you cant live without him that he'll understand. goodluck i hope this helps.

Talk to your mum about started a scedual maybe you could ask if you could go to your dads on the weekend. I am sure they will understand your feelings after all they are you parents.

Whoaaa. I can never imagine, my dad saying that to me. If your parents just split up like recently, then maybe he just said that because hes going through so much. & he just needs some time to think or be on his own, yano? Give it awhile, & he'll come around. Also, don't like i don't know, go saying something to your mom, like if they did just split up. Because, shes probaly going through alot too. But, like when she seems like happier [is shes not like right now or whatever] then tell her, that he said that to you, & you don't understand why.
