eat healthy. try eating smaller portions.
exercise is your friend. sign up for a yoga class or some such. If you have a trampoline, jump on that for extended periods of time.

Ok, im 12 and i weigh about 150-160 and im 5'9 but i dont look fat, but my fat goes to my legs(thighs mostly) and now its starting to get to my belly and i want to lose weight but nothing works for me. i tried excercising,doesnt work, dieting, i get too hungry , and i dont know what else to do to lose weight! i only look fat in shorts and my bikini, but i like to wear those clothes and i cant cuz my legs are fat. you're not overweight or in danger of being overweight at all.
try sit-ups to stop from getting a belly, if you don't want one.

that would be cool. but it's rather difficult, so just content yourself with the fact that anime characters usually have to deal with all sorts of sucky problems which make them interesting, but also not particularly fun to be.

My and my boyfriend have been dating for almost 15 months and we have come close to have sex sooo many times... the only thing stopping us is that he doesnt have condoms. We both know that if he did, that we would probably end up doing something if we had the chance, but we are also both worried about pregnancy! Thats why we are hesitant about buying condoms.

Try to get ahold of condoms. I see them in stores quite often, and I think planned parenthood has them free. Condoms have a ninety-something percent success rate, so if you use a condom, you're pretty safe.
If you really do love him and, since you've been together for 15 months, it seems like you're pretty damn serious, go ahead. Try to get on birth control, though.

I want to learn to play the violin. I own one already, two in fact. I don't have money for lessons and they aren't offered for free at school but I really want to learn. I've tried teaching myself, but in the past it hasn't worked. I've always given up without that initial drive to learn that comes with lessons. It's like I need someone forcing me to do it. My parents have never really been supportive of me learning any instrument and it's unfair that they were both given opportunities in school to play and I haven't. I want to play so badly that I cry myself to bed at night over it. But I have no way to learn. (link)

if you have two violins, you can try selling one. I played violin for a while, and the store would buy back the violins when you were done with them if they were in good condition. If you can't do that, try placing an add in the paper. If you raise some money, your parents might chip in the rest, and once they see that you are serious, they might help pay.

there is nothing natural you could do to MAKE your breasts grow.
If they ARE growing, then there is a chance that they will grow quite fast.
Don't be embarassed about them. You're twelve, you don't need to worry so much about the guys yet, and bras are evil, evil, EVIL things, and it is good to be kept as far out of their reaches as possible.

I don't think age matters, and the older you get, the less it matters. I would worry more about experience. If you're in college and dating a guy still in high school, there could be a difference in world experience and your outlooks on life. You could prolly still get past it, though.

You're a little overweight, according to your BMI, but it could be partially muscles, which weigh more.
-Try cutting down on the size of your meals, but do eat three times a day.
-Eat healthy food. Instead of having pizza for lunch, have a fruit salad.
-Exercise. Get a membership at your local gym (if you're too young, you can probably lie, or just do some of the other alternatives) and work out there regularly. Try out for sports teams when school starts again, and if you have a nearby public pool or country club, spend some time there. Swimming is fun, and good excercise too! You can also hike or take walks, or decide to do a certain amount of exercises a day, (50 jumping jacks, 25 push ups, 30 sit-ups . . .) Also, try taking a yoga class.

find fun things to hang on your wall, like movie posters and if you have any cool looking calenders, those are good too. Once they're finished, you can cut them up and hang the really spiffy pics on your wall or your ceiling. If you really just want to brighten up your room, try pinning large bits of cloth to the wall.
Also, cool bed spreads are nice. I have a really nice one from Thailand with a sort of ethnic, hill tribe design (my mum was going through a phase when she bought it) which is really nice. I used to have one with a tiger on it, which also looked really cool.
Any of your own artwork, even the stuff you did in kindergarten is also fun!

I am 17 years old and I feel that it is time for me to tell my friends and parents about me being gay. I have managed to tell a few friends already, and they took it easy. I don't want my other friends (guys in particular and girls that hate gays) to turn around and say that I am gross and never talk to me again. How do I tell them and my parents without it sounding so harsh? I am still the same person as before..

Your parents will love you no matter what. Just tell them at dinner when you're alone with the both of them.
If you know that they have anti-gay beliefs then try to get the most sympathetic parent alone and tell them first.
Your friends should accept you the way you are. With your female friends who hate gays, you should just tell them. They'll be shocked, but if they're really your friends, they'll get over it.
Your guy friends could be awkward. You could tell them just before you have to leave to go somewhere else. Like over the phone right before you have to hang up and go to dinner, or over the IM so they have some time to think about it.

Agh my parents are REALLY overprotective! And it sucks cause I can hardly go anywhere with my friends. I mean I can go out to like the mall and shops but idk and another thing is like i have NO way to get me to places my mom doesnt drive my dad works frum 630 am - 530 pm..and i can never have friends over..it just sucks cause shes ruining my life..im only 14 but i hate always havin my parents around.And everytime I talk to her about it she laughs she doesnt take me seriously. what can i do? Try getting out of the house more if you can. Try walking to the library or other close by places.
You do need to talk to your parents about this. They're not taking you seriously, though, which is bad of them. You could try leaving them a note, dorky as it may seem, but if they didn't take you seriously the first time, they might not take you seriously in the note.
I think what you should do is get BOTH your parents together in the living room or wherever, and make it very clear that this IS a serious situation. Have them sit down and ask them to not interrupt you while you're talking. Then tell them what you just wrote here, and talk it over. Tell them that they are being overprotective and you feel like you can't hang out with friends with them always around.

He abused you, and he will do it again. If he did that to you, he doesn't really love you, and is just using you. Would you rape someone you loved?
It's going to be really hard to accept this, and you should have someone to talk to. Talk to a friend if you don't want to talk to your mum (although I think you should, but it's your choice) or look up a rape hotline.
You should also report Jake to the police. What he did was illegal, and he will probably do it again to someone else, if not you, later.

I don't think you should bug her about that. It's great that she's got her own, unique style and doesn't care what people think.
Don't offer advice on her outfit unless she specifically asks you, in which case you can tactfully try to convince her that the outfit looks better without the extra skirt/jeans.
Just don't make any general statements, like "pants under a skirt looks bad." Try to let he be herself.

You are your own person and you have the right to believe what you want. Your parents can still make you participate in Jewish customs though.
Talk to your parents. Don't be preachy, don't say anything bad about Judeism, but just tell them that you want to try Christianity.
If they still don't want you to be Christian, try to reach a compromise, like switching off between Church and Synagogue.
Be sincere and polite, and don't bring up your friend in this because they might accuse you of just trying to fit in.

Start by discussing gay rights, (like gay marriage) with your friend. Make sure you know that you think being other than hetero is fine, and ask her what she thinks about it. Ask her what she'd do if she had a gay/bi friend or as a joke ask her what she's think if you were bi.
Use this to feel her out and then if you think she's being mature enough, tell her that you think you're bisexual. She might surprise you by accepting you just fine!

You could also try writing a round robin story. That's when one of you starts the first few paragraphs of a story and the other one continues the next few paragraphs and then gives it back to you and so on and so forth.
Play truth or dare. Or just truth. That's always fun.
Hang out outside, if you have a yard, or on the balcony if you don't. It's fun to watch people and wave at them.
Think about the characters in your favorite tv shows, movies, and books, and discuss the best pairings (slash is FUN!) and which characters you most resemble.
Play board games, if you have them. Make up new rules.

I need to earn some cash 4 my summer vacation. We leave July 15 and I really need to save and make some $ so I can go crazy spending!!!! Lol. I get $20 midmonth and end of the month so when I leave, I'll have $40. That's ok, but I'd like 2 make some more by then. Any suggestions how 2 make some extra cash working around the house or anything? I can't babysit, no little brothers or sisters. You could talk to your parents and offer to sort the linen closet, weed the garden, wax the table, and the like for certain amounts of money.
If they aren't willing to pay, you can go on a cooking frenzy and make cookies to sell. You can co-operate with some people who are having a garage sale and sell them there, outside a busy building (a bank, for example) or by a popular hiking trail (this works really well, I've tried it). This is a fun one because you can pull your friends into it. ;-)
You can also organize a garage sale. You can do this with friends or with your family, and get rid of some of your old stuff for money. I've done this before, and made quite a bit.
If you have friends who like to act, you can pull some of them into a short play. You can find many short plays on the net and on fictionpress.com, in the plays section. Charge for admission (or, if you like, just for refreshments) and have fun!
