I had a root canal when I was 4-yrs-old!!It was my first ever trip to the dentist,haha! No,it's not as bad as some people make it seem.And any pain or discomfort will go away before you know it.They'll give you meds for the pain more than likely,and you'll just be kind of sore and blah for a couple days!! Trust me,I've had everything done to me just about:root canal,braces,tonsils and adenoids taken out,wisdom teeth cut out!! It's really not so bad!You'll be fine! I really need help... I started dating an ex of mine thursday night.. Well today we started fighting. My cousin told me that he was just using me for sex. and I guess I kinda believed it. but I've been acting kinda shady towards him and he asked why. Well,it sounds like you and this guy need to have a talk,face-to-face.What concerns me is the fact that he got so defensive so quickly when you mentioned what you had been told,and the fact that he is rude enough to TELL you not to hang out with someone,much less your own cousin.But,that's not to say he's guilty of anything.It's possible your cousin is jealous and fears he's going to take your attention away from her,and therefore was willing to say anything to break you up.But she could've been telling you the truth.I'm wondering why you say you believed it when she told you he was only using you for sex?Had you suspected this before?At any rate,sit down with your guy and let him know that you were just telling him what you had been told.Express to him how much you care about him,but that you need and deserve to know the truth.Also let him know that you don't appreciate him telling you who you can and can't hang out with!!He has NO right to do that!Never settle or let someone play you out like that.But for now,you don't know anything for a fact,so sit down and talk with your boy,give him a chance to give his side of the story!! At your age,yes,age does matter!!There are so many differences between an 18-yr-old and a 13-yr-old I can't even begin to list them here!!But the number one thing-IT'S ILLEGAL!!!! It's totally normal and natural to fantasize about or crush on an older guy at your age.But look out for any 18-yr-old guy who will go after a 13-yr-old.His intentions are 9 times outta 10,NOT good!! It's not dangerous!! I'm not sure on the age factor.I know if you are under 18,you need a parent signature to get it done.But I'm not sure if there's an age that they consider too young!!

I get really bad migraines almost everyday. I've tried taking advil, bayer, exedrin migraine..almost every kind of aspirin, and nothing helps. My doctor doesn't want to prescribe something to me because I'm only 15. So my question is does anyone know of a way to relieve migraines? Not regular headaches but migraines..thanks
I get migraines too,and it is hard to get a doc to give you the meds for them because most of them are considered "controlled substances" and very strong drugs.I'm not sure of any other ways to help them,but to express to your doctor how severe they really are,and how much they hinder your daily activities.He may reffer you to a neurologist to run some tests and confirm that it's migraines you are suffering from.Once they determine for sure that it's migraines,the doc should be a little more willing to prescribe you the right meds!!Best of luck,let me know how you're doing!! :)

This may sound like a dumb idea,but maybe have your friends over and you guys can look thru old pictures and yearbooks of your last 3 years in high school!You guys can swap silly stories,and play some old songs that remind you of old times.Maybe you could all sit down and put together a scrapbook to commemorate your years of high school,and leave blank pages to be filled in with stuff from your senior year!Or maybe you could all write down your dreams and goals for the year and put them in a little box or something and put them away until graduation night!That way,you'll have time to talk about your future goals right now,and you'll have something special for graduation night!!!Hope this helps some! ;)

I have really thick hair too!! So,I feel ya! Hehe! First off,wash and condition your hair as usual,and add a little bit of volumizing/controlling mousee.Then blow dry your hair straight using a large round brush.After that,seperate your hair into 1 to 2 inch sections and spritz each section with a spray gel or a light hairspray before curling the section with either a large barrel curling iron,or setting it on some large velcro rollers.After you've finished curling it with the curling iron,or after the rollers are done doing their thing(hehe),let your hair down and tousle it with your fingers.Then spritz it with a shine/gloss spray to add shine and help get rid of the frizzies!!Hope this helps!! ;)

recently i went away to sleepaway camp where i fell for this guy. He was cute nice and funny. I had such a blast with him. We went on a boat together and hugged. But then we had a dance and he and i just looked at eachother. But i seriousley thought he liked me! but then when another girl asked him dance he looked at me with a sad face.! Hey there. Okay, I've been on birth control (Tri-Cyclen) for a week now ... and about 4 days into it I started getting cramps, and having diarrea. It continued like that for 2 days. I also have to pee like, every 15 minutes. lol. Is this normal, or should I talk to my doctor about it.
You might wanna check with your doc about that.Sometimes with the pill it's a trial-and-error sorta thing.I started on Tri-Cyclen and it didn't "agree" with me either,so I was switched.It differs for all girls,and I know a LARGE number of women who've had to be on 2 or 3 different ones until they find one that's right for them!!So I say check with your doctor!!See what he/she says!Let me know how you're doing!! :)

im asking this question for my friend ... a few months ago she wanted to be homeschooled ... then she found this really nice boarding school that she liked A LOT! so she requested information and things of that sort on teh internet and things like that...well she was sure her mom was going 2 say yes...well her mom said that it was A LOT of money 2 pay especially shes one of four kids...four girls...so it kinda sux for her! i feel really badly for her and she asked me 2 write this...she cant go to the boarding school or homeschooled and she doesn't want to go 2 public/private school because in her area...they judge you at pub. and private school...

She is going to have to get used to people judging her and making assumptions about her wherever she goes.But,if this is about getting a good education,that's another story.I was homeschooled for the last half of all 4 years of high school due to illness,and missing so much school.She may want to look into getting a private tutor,which she can speak to her school counselor about.Also,there are several internet homeschool programs where you do your school work over the internet,and the school sends you the books and such.You're required to take tests and everything else.That might be another route to look into.Go to yahoo.com or google.com and type in something like Online Homeschooling and see what you find there!!Hope this helps some!! :)

Honestly there's a big difference between Freshmen and Seniors.Not to be rude but usually,when a Senior is after a Freshman girl,it's for one real reason!You're probably a very pretty girl,and so the guys take notice of you pretty quick! ;) It sounds to me from the way you talk that you're already uncomfrotable with the idea of this party,so even if you went you wouldn't have any fun.And what good's a party if you aren't enjoying it??My advice,tell him thanks but no thanks.

My ex boyfriend whom I haven't talked to in a month just called me the other day. We went out for 6 months and he is 19 and im 17. Then for the last 3 or 4 months we talked like a couple times a month until last month when we didnt talk at all and during those 3 months i would always cry because i missed him so much and couldnt talk to him or anything. Well,a lot depends on what it is he did to you.But to me,it sounds like you really truly love this guy,and I don't see any signs or reasons not to believe or trust him.Give him another shot.But remember the saying "Fool me once shame on you,fool me twice,shame on me!".Meaning,if he starts acting shady or things start to go the way they did before,don't just sit by and let it happen.But for now,I say trust him,give him another chance girl!!Everyone makes mistakes!! :)
