It depends on the University/College. For my University, Ball State, it is 30 credits. I think thats what most of them are. Hope I Helped!

I am currently torn between liking two guys...
One is my best friend. I have known him forever. We have tried dating before, but it just hasn't worked out... we're still best friends and all, but we do go on dates... Whenever we're together, people just assume we're dating.. He's really sweet, and is all boy-next-doorish. He does stuff like this... we went to see a play together, and it was cold, so he let me wear his jacket, then walked me home..
The other guy looks perfect for me, and is actually my cousin's best friend. Both of us have brown hair, and brown eyes and I come up to his shoulder (if any of this matters..) we're apparently "The cutest couple ever" according to some old ladies in the park... He's outgoing and is more rebellish though.. Like.. he stole me chocolate from a vending machine, then because I was tired, he picked me up and brought me back to the picnic ground (family reunion.. he was there with my cousin.. my cousin is a guy, by the way.) Sorry it was so long...
I would probably chose my best friend if I were you because thats where relationships should always start, a friendship! The other guy does sound nice except for the stealing. Theres this guy that i like. I see him usually twice a week. Well the think is his mom, she looked find last week but then when i saw her today she looked kinda pale and yellow. Maybe even a little tierd. I dont think shes worn out or anything but i have a feeling she might be sick... does anyone know any sicknesses that have the symtoms of pale/yellow skin?

There are a lot of illnesses with these symptoms. The only way to be for sure if she is sick is to have her go to the doctor. It could be serious! I would talk to your guy friend and explain your concern. I am sure he can tell you whats going on and if she has been under doctor's care. If not, suggest that she go right away. OK please tell me if I am wrong or not. This guy used to be my friend and now I hate him. He became obsessed with me but we NEVER talk anymore. He finds out what everything means in my info and talks to everyone about how hes in love with me. His voice annoys me, hes perverted, and theres just something about him I absolutely hate. Well my grandma died.. and in one of my classes I sit in the front of the room and sleep while all my friends go to the back and talk(including the guy). Today he told my best friend to not talk to me because i was upset and I WASNT! i sit infront of the room every day and now since my grandma died im upset? he doesnt know me.. i love my best friend he has no right to tell her not to talk to me. he doesnt know me and i cant stand him. I dont think this guy is doing anything wrong. On the same token, I dont think you are either. You have a right to not like someone! However, I dont see how it was wrong for him to tell you best frien dyou were upset and not to talk to you. I think he was just showing that he cared. I dont think he meant it so literally. He wasnt trying to be rude or mean in saying it. I would just talk to him and ask him to leave you alone and to stay out of your business. He should respect that. Well, My 5 year olf brother and I walked into the room my 16 year old sister and I share, and we saw her and her boyfriend having sex...

Hmm well maybe I should start like this. I met this girl like 5-6 months ago and she was pretty cool so we became pretty good friends. Now after being with her at school and seeing her here and there after school, I finally figured out I like her a lot. She had a bf though, but he treated her like crap, he wouldnt ever talk to her or do things with her etc. So now she broke up with him and I'm not sure if she likes me or not but I dont want to ask her out because if she doesnt like me our friendship will suffer, and plus I dont usually like to ask people out.
You sound really sweet! So, here is what I think. Yes, I think she will like you and I think you should ask her out. But, there is something else that I think I should advise you on. I dont know specifics on her ex relationship, but I think you should give it some time before you ask her out. I would say like a month or so after they break up. The reason I say this is because it isnt really fair to date someone right after they get out of a relationship. This is because they need time to get over the old relationship and etc. If they rush into anything too fast then they may make decisions for all the wrong reasons. So, I would just wait for a while before pursuing this. Now, when you are ready to date her and you KNOW she is ready, there are a few things you can do to find out if she likes you. One, and prolly the best thing, is to ask her friend(s). They will know if she likes you and if they dont, they can find out. TRUST ME! Two, just ask her. Sit her down and talk to her. Everyone tells you that your too young for a reason hun, you are! You are only 13 and your no where near mature enough yet to truely LOVE someone. You are young and still have plenty of growing up to do. My advice is to just respect your parents. Talk to them and tell them how you feel, but respect their wishes. Honey, the only thing you can really do is be there for him. Let him know that your always there for him and he can always talk to you. My boyfriend & I broke up over a month ago. We haven't talked alot and he has moved on already with a new girlfriend. Moving on is a really tough process. It seems like your doing everything right. You flirting again and everything. I think you are starting to get over him, your just not fully there yet. I dont think that you should do anything too special. You want the guy to like you for who you are and not because you can impress him. Just be yourself. Try talking to him more. Maybe even ask a friend of yours to find out if he likes you without telling the guy that you like him. Just try stepping things up a notch amd talking to him more. I met Mary, 20 years old, about 10 months ago. We hit off and started dating. It’s been about 7 months now. Her family life is a complete mess. Her parents divorced a little over a year ago. Now, her mom hardly returns her calls and her dad quickly got re-married and now lives about 2 1/2 hours north of her. With his new life he rarely makes time for her either.
After dating for about 4 months, she visited her doctor. Her stomach was bothering her. The doctor discovered a cyst. She had tests done and that day she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer – stage one.
She refused to have a hysterectomy and started chemotherapy. After 3 weeks of chemo, its stage 3. The doctor tells her it’s terminal. She tells her dad. He asks her not tell anyone on his side of the family. Meanwhile, he never calls her to ask how she’s doing. As far as her mom goes – she hasn’t told her yet.
Three weeks ago, Mary’s doctor said she needed to stop chemo because her organs were swelling as a result of her diabetes. At this point the cancer had stopped spreading. Last week she blew off her doctor’s appointment because she needed to work to make rent. She was scheduled to restart chemo. Mary works full-time on her feet. She smokes and has a glass of wine now and then. None of which her doctor agrees with. So as a result, the cancer has started to spread again.
Watching her suffer has taken a lot out of me. More than half the week she sleeps at my apartment. And on cue in the evening her pains skyrocket. Lying in bed she twists and shakes until she passes out. All I can do is hold her. She wakes up and the pain goes another round or two until she finally falls asleep.
I don’t agree with how she’s handling her sickness. Missing doctor appointments, smoking, and drinking. Just the other day she was planning to go to the beach with friends. I told her she’s not suppose to go in the sun while on chemo; that’s when I found out she missed her doctors appointment earlier that day.
I want to be there for her, but as a friend. I do all I can so that she feels like a beautiful woman. But I might just have to just walk away. I feel like I need to do something to get her to take this illness more seriously. I’m frustrated.

I think that you should talk to Mary. Explain to her how frustrated you are and that you want to be there for her but that you dont know how much longer you can go on with the things being as they are right now. I would also encourage you to convince Mary to call and tell her mom. She needs to know. I think it is really inportant for the mom to know. Talking is really all that you can do at this point. But, please, dont give up. Continue to try to be supportive and loving to Mary. She needs you more than you will ever know. My grandmother died of ovarian cancer even after having the historectomym and what helped her before she passed away was being with family. This is very serious and I hope you can make Mary realize that. Best Of Luck!

Discharge in and of itself is normal. I know that it isnt fun but there isnt much you can do about it, haha. I would recommend that you buy panty liners if you discharge is too bad. I would advise that you talk to these friends of yours and tell them how you feel and tell them that you woould like to work on having a closer relationship. If this dosent work, try making new friends. School and Church are great places to do this! I am sure you will find someone. I am so sorry to hear that your depression has come to this. I think that talking to an adult (same as with your parent issue) should help to resolve these feelings of depression. Yesterday, I was skipping inside of my house and I passed the restrooms and my dad was in there peeing. He forgot to close the doors! He saw me and stopped peeing and i guess was kinda nervous. I didn't see anything because I was skipping and my face was turned the other way. It's kinda weird between us now. What can i do?
Wow! This is a very tough situation. I think that the best thing to do is to just talk ot your father. Explain to him that you dont want things to be weird between you guys and that you didnt see anything. This should help! He probably just feels weird because he thinks you saw something and if your young he might think its the first time you have seen a guy's genital area, even though you didnt really see anything, he just thinks you did. Okay, so there's this guy that's been my really good friend for a long time. Last October, I got a crush on him. Then in December, he had a girlfriend, but he told me that he'd liked me since October too, and a week later, he broke up with his girlfriend. But he didn't ask me out until a month later, because he 'didn't want people to think he liked me when he liked his other girlfriend'. So we were 'sort of' going out for about a month, but we never actually went on a date. He asked me out to a carnival, but then he ditched me. Then...worst of all...the school dance. He danced with me once, and then went back to his ex girlfriend and was dancing with HER for the rest of the time. I talked to him and he told me he didn't like me anymore, but we decided to stay friends anyways.
Now, about 3 months later...I think I still like him, but I'm not sure. We're still very good friends. I want him to be happy with whatever girl he goes out with, but I'm jealous at the same time. My heart jumps when I had to kiss him on the cheek for this school performance..and when I fell asleep on his shoulder in the movie theater (with other friends there)...and I feel crap when I see the girl he likes sleeping on his other shoulder, or sitting super close to him. What should I do? How do I get over him? Please help!
I am really sorry to hear this. We have all been there! I think it is time for you to move on and try to find someone else. I know this will be hard, but I think it is for the best. This guy obviously likes his ex-girlfriend still and from what you have said, I dont think that is going to change. I am sorry! This is a very hard thing to go through.
