Q: i havnt started my period yet and i'm a very short 13 year old so how do i know that i didnt stop growing?

I worried about the same thing at the age of 13. Then at about the middle of 14 I got mine. Ask your mother when she got hers. Usually you will have yours around the same time. I did.

You don't REALLY stop growing till about 18 for most girls. I am only 5'3ish and I am 15 years old. So don't sweat it.

Feel happy you don't have your period yet. It sucks!

Well it depends on what style you are into.. Im into the gothic kinda look. What I do is go to The Salvation Army and get shirts or skirts for like $2.50 and make them my own. No one will have what you make, unless they copy you.

Q: my sister cut my bangs...to MY UPPER LIP!!![[not a good thing..]] i wanted them to be to the middle of my lip and chin...and they dont look good because i have a oval face!! [[kinda like jo jo's face]] im wondering any cute hair styles that would go w/ my look!! my hair is medium length..or just to my chest/boobs.i have layers...it stops a ways under my chin,then i have my bangs to my upper lip. some lengths in the back to..and im very small. Q: Ugh...okay I HATE my clothes. I went through this whole phase recently of "I care what everyone else thinks and my opinion doesnt matter". And that includes clothes. I wear the same old crappy polo tees from hollister and stupid jeans and stupid shoes. I just look like every other boring un-unique "prep". Well, i've finally grown out of this. I now want to start dressing like my personality which is edgy, unique, and artsy. I like rock/emo/indie music if it helps? I'm looking for some fashion tips (example...stuff like wearing your belt to the side, etc.) And some stores online I could check out to help me dress more "edgy". Also, i dont have alot of money. How can i rock out a plain polo? Any hair ideas? Makeup ideas? I hate dressing "preppy" when inside im not like that. THANKS!

As far as dressing it doesnt really rely on what music you listen to. I do dress 'gothic' as I have been told. I don't like to label myself as that, but oh well.

Do what I do make clothes. Go to the salvation army and get some 2 dollar skirts and add lace or fishnet to it. Its cheap and looks sweet. Cool thing is its VERY unique. No one can have what you make. Unless they copy off you.

Make up. Hmm I am into alot of black eyeliner and bright pink eyeshadow. DON'T do black lines down your face. You will look like a fool and get dirty looks.

well, i recently broke up with my boyfriend. before we broke up, we told each other that even if we did brake up, we still wanted to be friends. it has been almost a week since we broke up and the jerk won't even talk to me. i have tried talking to him, being as nice as i possibly can under the circumstances. what is up with this? is he taking time and wasting away what we could have or does he not want anything to do with me? thanks in advance.

Well do as I do. Alter your eatting. NO STRAVING YOURSELF. Just change little things. Like when you are eatting dinner drink water or juice instead of the orginal fatting pop. Also instead of cookies as a snack, eat a salad or something less fatting.

Also everyday once or twice walk a mile. Or even more if you are up to it. Make sure you don't over do yourself. Good luck I hope I helped. Rate this answer for me please.

Q: K, so I've been going out with my boyfriend since 1-31-05, and lately we've kind of been like, you know, "touching". At first I was kind of like, well I dunno about this, and feeling indecisive about whether we should even be doing it, but kind of wanting to at the same time. (I'm 14, he's 15) Well now my problem is that when he touches me it feels *kind of* good at first then it just hurts. What are we doing wrong?

Well I am 15 and my boyfriend was 14 when we were together. We touched alot and you need to be up front with your partner. If he is hurting you, you really need to tell him. Maybe do it on the phone.. might make you feel more comfortable, but be sure to let him know.

Q: i want to be more fit but my parents only buy junk food. When i dont eat this they keep telling me that i am becoming anorexic, and i'm not i just want to eat better. How can i explain this?

Well I am in the same problem. Here is what I do, before my parents go to the gorcery store I give them a list. Listed on there are Vegables and fruits. Also working out is a major part.
