Personally, I hate this website. The majority of questions are either horribly worded, incredibly easy to answer on one's own with the use of widely available resources (including, but not limited to, www.google.com), alterations of a very common question, or a combination of the three. I confuse myself sometimes as to why I continue to read random questions, only to be to be driven insane by the utter disregard for the reader of the question. Maybe I just use this website as an outlet for my rage towards the section of teenagers who upset me the most, or possibly it is just ingrained in my psyche to read over poorly spelled questions to fuel my masochistic personality. I might even be staying here to prevent the overtake of this hapless corner of the internet by ignorant and lazy teenage girls that don't know how to say "yes" to someone who asked her out by the use of common sense and correct grammar.
I have, however, found that reading topic specific questions eliminates most of my frustration. Of course, that still doesn't stop me from running into unbelievably ignorant questions such as "does doing squats really make your theighs smaller?" in the INTERNET AND WEB DESIGN topic list.

When you put that crap on your eyes, you look like a whore. I'm not saying that automatically makes you a whore, but it's still part of a whore uniform.

I have a question about this guy that isnt my boyfriend, he is just a friend of mine. Well I was talking to him one day about my grandmother and how she was coming down from her city which is about a 6 hour drive away to see my appartment for the first time. While anyways, after telling him this he said quote " and how is grandma doing"? I thought this was strange since he isnt even my boyfriend to refer to her as "grandma" instead of "your grandma". I mean by the way he said it it sounded like he already thinks of my grandma as his grandma too! Does anyone else find what he said strange? I would never refer to his mom or grandma like that!! Multiply (3v-4w-3x) by -2u. That means you need to take each term in the parenthesis and multiply them all by -2u. So looking at each tern individually:
-2u * 3v = (-2 * 3)(u * v) = -6uv
-2u * -4w = (-2 * -4)(u * w) = 8uw
-2u * -3x = (-2 * -3)(u * x) = 6ux
Put back together, the answer is:

tomorrow i am trying out for my favorite sport TRACK & FIELD!
i am in 7th grade so i have to try out for J.V.
for the try outs i have to run 6 laps around the track under 12 minutes [plus some other things but thats the hardest]. this is going to kill me! im not good at distance running. i do sprints. what if i dont make it? i live for track! is there any way i can get faster? i trying out with one of my best friends. we are the only ones trying out tomorrow becasue everyone else already did. i'm so nervous.
what can i do today till tomorrow at 3:30 to make me do better?

You aren't going to improve in one day. If you want to improve your stamina and speed, that takes months. Besides, it's 7th grade JV track & field. Not competitive enough to warrant this much concern. No matter how important it is, you don't have to make it out to be the olympics.
And you sound pretty new to Track and Field considering that it's your LIFE.

Over the last few days I haven't been really hungry, even when I barely ate that day. Like yesterday I had a really small sandwich in the morning and I wasn't hungry til waay later. And today I haven't really eatten anything and I wasn't hungry but I ate dinner cause I know its bad to not eat. But is there something wrong that I haven't been hungry? Or could it be that I'm just realizing I want to lose weight (which i do) or what? 13/f (link)

I want to configure Oracle 9i to work with Windows 2000 Active Directory KDC. The Oracle server is hosted on a machine which is part of W2k domain. I went through the Oracle Administration Security document. The first 3 tasks were completed but got stuck in the last task.

Consider the user base when you answer a question like that. A very large majority of accounts are created by 13-17 year old girls. This DEFINITELY not the best place to be asking. I suggest you go to an Oracle-specific help forum.

i have quite a chubby stomach and i have been doing about 60 crunches each night and i havent seen much results.. i know in a few weeks i might but i dont want to waste my time doing crunches and find out it didnt work.. so anyone that had experience.. does crunches really work? (link)

Yes, crunches will help. It takes more than just crunches to work off fat though. Watch how many calories you take in during the day. You aren't wasting your time, but you will need to keep working at it for quite a while to get a skinny stomach.

A local radio station played a song that I can't find anywhere.
Part of it goes, 'you're turning me into a zombie / i want to be your zombie' or something like that. The radio station said it was 'You Know What You Are' by Nine Inch Nails but I looked up the lyrics to that song and they were totally different from the one they played. So I looked up that bit of lyrics on a lyric search engine and on google and I couldn't find anything. So that may not be what the song says. But that was the only part I was pretty sure of .. so does anyone know what song I'm talking about? (link)

First, I need YOU to help ME. Seeing as you went out of your way to pick me to answer your question, you could at least have the common courtesy to compose a respectable question. Despite being only two sentences, this was still a pain to read, especially when you spelled words such as "my" and "and" incorrectly.
Maybe I would be a tad bit more inclined to answer your question with an organized, thought out response, had you come to me with a correctly spelled and grammatically solid question. If you aren't going to put forth enough effort to make your question legible, I don't see why I should put forth the effort to give you solid advice.

I`m a straight A student. Last week I grabbed the wrong composition notebook so I wasn`t able to turn in my weekly D.O.G Work. My teacher refused to take it when I turned it in late for half credit. I told her today I admit I made a mistake and asked if there was anything I could do. ( my grade was a 96 but since I didn`t turn it down it went to a 71%) She yelled at me, Told me she wouldn`t grade any crap that I would do to get extra credit, laughed in my face, and completly insulted me ( and made me cry ; I don`t cry easily ) in front of the whole class. Now getting a C wouldn`t upset me, however if I don`t get 98 or above on ALL my papers/projects/tests from now on that grade could easily fall to an F and I would be kicked off of the cheerleading squad and lose my Captain position. What do I do ? I Have no hope of getting any sorta extra credit ; progress reports come out on this coming Monday and my coach always does grade checks.

If you already had a 96 before this "incident," it doesn't sound like you are very likely to take another big hit to your grade. You should be fine if you just make sure to double check your assignments and that you have everything you need at the end of the day.

Ok well see I am a 13/f and my dad like hits me all the time with like eather a wooden stick or his hands or whatever he has in reach and it usually leaves bruises.....and like he always tells me when he does it that I could never call the police and get him in trouble because he will just say that it's his way of "punishing me". And like I always ask him why doesnt he just ground me or something else and he always says that he thinks this will work better.....but I really don't think it does. What should I doo?? Is this considered abuse or not??

I lost 3 large clots, approx size of a cup coaster (no pain, they just fell out of me when I stood up) in my 11th week of pregnancy and started bleeding after that. I was taken to hospital and scanned and the baby was fine. They kept me in for a few days and scanned me 3 times - each time the baby was fine, steady heartbeat and the foetus was moving around. They gave me a vaginal examination to try and establish where the bleeding had come from but could not find anything.
The bleeding had stopped within 12 hours of starting.
Have you ever heard of this before, and do you think the pregnancy will carry on normally? Do you know what the cause of this could be?
I am very worried that this is going to happen again but with a miscarriage as the end result, and keep checking myself for bleeding and am overly cautious of any aches or pains that occur in my abdomen.

Same guy here from the "Romantic or Creepy?!" Topic earlier,
LadyGoodman mentioned that she would find it creepy if she made it very clear that she wasn't interested before.
My question is WHEN does a women actually make it very clear that she's not interested,
I mean when they are interested, they play hard to get or they are nice, they're not interested they are nice or they do what, to me, looks like playing hard to get...
Personally I would only take it as very clear when she literally tell's me not to bother her again, or to F%$#-off, and I'd be happy to hear the plain and simple truth, but women have NEVER done that to me, they just keep me on a line till I just stop calling them.
I have kissed this specific girl on at least five seperate occations, I've seen her jeolous at least once, and she has been playing hard to get practically the whole time.

They specifically say it. This is only in the most rare of situations, which is one thing that can make asking a girl out incredibly troublesome. Take it that she isn't interested, but don't dissolve all ties with her completely.
Girls really suck ass for doing stuff like this. It's enough to turn some men gay. (That happened to a friend of mine, actually. He couldn't take dealing with such flakey, unclear, and indirect women leading him on, and ended up going down in "flames," per se.)

Well, if he asked your friend out, you can't really do anything about that. He didn't want to go out with you, but when your friend came along, he asked her out. No need to be a sore loser. It's not her fault that he is attracted to her.
