my best friend is going out with the guy i really like

Question Posted Sunday November 6 2005, 6:06 pm

Hi!I have a friend. Well, i like this guy, but then i told my friend about this guy and now she likes him to. The guy asked my best friend out. I was crying for like almost an hour. She told me that she still wanted to be friends and every thing but i dont know. It hurts really bad and the only problem i have is should i still be her friend or no? Sould i tell her that i hate that she is going out with the person that i really like? i dont know what to do because i dont want to lose a friend over a guy.

if you truly care about your friend you will be able to let it go. and not care if she's happy.

I think that I'd be crushed if this happened.. I can't believe she said yes to him even though she kneww you liked him, even before she did. I would talk to her and tell her that you're extremely hurt... that's the only thing that I think would make things better. Just sit down and have a longg talk with her. =] <3

Well, if he asked your friend out, you can't really do anything about that. He didn't want to go out with you, but when your friend came along, he asked her out. No need to be a sore loser. It's not her fault that he is attracted to her.

What I would do in this situation is just try to tell her that it really hurts your feelings that you're going out with him when you told her you liked him. try to be calm so u dont lose a friend and hopefully things will work out. :-D

Many things like this happens to alot of grils and guys occasionaly. Anyways I know it is hard to see your bestfriend with the guy. what you should try to do is talk to your friend try to settle somthing. Somthing like We can still be friends and she still can go out with the guy. But put like a rule not to talk about the guy or do things that hurt your feelings infront of you. This is my advice:)

I think that you should tell her how you feel, but dont stop being friends with her because of that, i did that to one of my friends before, and i felt so bad, not being her friend culd hurt her really bad, and if you're mad at her and erally upset then imagine how upset she would be if u stopped being friends with her, expecially with out talking to her about how you feel first

**hope i helped
