ok so my computer guy told me to delete limewire because it makes alot of viruses. what else is there that i can download music and videos and is free like limewire. help is appreciated.
those free programs that let you pirate music are always going to have viruses. limewire, morpheus, kazaa, winmx, whatever else there is now. i know because i had to get a new computer. if you want free music, download real rhapsody. it doesn't let you actually download the music/videos, but you can access them for free and create playlists and stuff. however, you can't put the music on your ipod or anything because technically you don't own the music. itunes is the best nonfree music downloading service i've tried. you can also buy from amazon, walmart, and other places. but it's illegal to actually download music to your pc without paying for it, and virus-free, ad-free services don't offer that. i'm not trying to be a killjoy here, but those free music providers really do mess up your computer and i'd advise you to either use real rhapsody for free music or not download music at all. happy downloading :) EDIT: wtf, mate? you gave me a 4 but said thanks? how the hell does that make sense?
Okay so I was just woundering how many times a week you should wash your hair. I know not every single day because its not healthy. I plan on asking my stylist thursday when I go to get my hair cut. But im just woundering how many times a week you think you should. Thanks
generally, every other day is healthy because it's not stripping your hair of its natural oils and stuff. however, i have 2 hours of marching band practice every morning so my hair reeks if i don't wash it every day. it depends on your hair type and stuff. if you have curly hair, you shouldn't wash it every day. if your hair gets uber greasy uber quick, then wash it every day. but i wash mine every day because otherwise i feel dirty.
I know this is the wrong catergory but my hair gets gross feeling easily. I straighten it & I wash it twice a week. But my hair gets so nasty feeling after like the 2nd day. But if I wear a headband then I can wear my hair down but it still looks kinda bad. & If I wear it without a headband i cant wear it down all week cuz it'll get nasty looking & feeling. & Im thinking of getting sidebangs sooner or later. So my question is how can i wear my hair down & have it feeling nice & silky until i wash my hair again ? Do you have any products I can use ? Thanks for the help
i think you should wash your hair every other day and see if you still have that problem. i'd also invest in a leave-in conditioner: i use infusium 23. after you get out of the shower, you spray it in your hair and dry it and style it or whatever. it keeps your hair looking awesome. but i honestly think the ultimate solution is to wash your hair more often. the grease from your scalp gets in your hair and makes it feel gross. and also, even if you don't participate in any sports or anything that requires sweat, you still sweat during the day and that gets in your hair too. certain products may help that, but the ultimate way to get rid of that is to wash your hair every other day. in fact, i wash mine every night because i'm in marching band and we march for 2 hours every morning. as for the frizziness, try a frizz-ease product. those always seem to do the trick. and bedhead products work too: there's one called "control freak" and it's in a green spray can. you spray it on dry hair and then straighten it. it smells good too :)
I practiced Archery with my friend && I wanted to buy a bow and some arrows. (the kind with the plastic stuff on the end that you hook to the bow.) Where could I find one?
if you have an academy store in your area, they have stuff like that. probably any sporting store, or stores that sell hunting equipment. even wal-mart or sam's club or something. you could always order online if you can't find anything local. i'd check ebay.com if that's the case.

Today was the first day of school, and I had lost my bras the night before, so I had to use a push-up bra, which is padded (I only wear it for my tube tops. I only bought it because none of the other strapless bras at the store came in an A size). I'm 32A, and the bra makes me look bigger than I actually am. I'm worried that the next day, I'll wear my regular bra, and people will think that I was trying to make my breasts look bigger.
What can I do about my predicament?
truthfully, on the first day of school, nobody notices anything about other people, especially the size of their boobs. everybody's just concerned with their own appearance, which is pretty weird considering that nobody cares. anyway, no, it's not a problem, if somebody asks you about it (which would be stupid) then just be like, "why are you staring at my boobs?" and besides, nobody would probably even bring it up because think about it: if you talk about somebody's boobs to somebody else, that somebody else knows that you've been looking at boobs. make sense? just wear the regular bra tomorrow. it won't be that huge of a difference, i promise.
Really, I asked many people what the definition of soul is, and everybody starts saying his own crap. Soul, is something you cant see, something you cant touch. I dont want to know what soul is not.

hmm, well, i think that your soul is your inner self that lives on forever. like, your physical body is just something that your soul has taken the shape of, but when you die, your soul doesn't. depending on what you believe, you could go to heaven, or you could be reincarnated. whatever. to me, my soul is what makes me tick. there's a lot of "old" in my soul. i love music. i love the blues. i'm a stagehand. i'm the yearbook editor. that's kind of what my soul is. i kind of think of it as my anti-drug. lol. anyway, that's just what i think.

Hi I live in a town where there are lots of jewish people and there are sooo many bat/bar mitzvahs! I got invited to my first two (no not one, i got two invitations at the same time, but the bat mitzvahs are on diff days thankfully!!!) My family isnt rich where I can get a new dress everytime i get invited to one. Heres what I need to know:
1. What kind of dress are you supposed to wear? Formal, casual, kind of casual???
2. DO people usually buy a different dress for each bat mitvah cause i think it is kind of odd to wear the same dress to (not literally) 20 bat mitzvahs!
3. How should you do you hair? Like should I get it done at a hair place???
4. WHere can I get reasonable priced dresses that are appropriate for a girl who JUSST turned 13? I don't think my parents are going to let me wear strapless!!!

1. It depends. For the actual service (normally a morning thing), wear very nice church clothes. It doesn't have to be a new dress because nobody's going to look at you. Bat/Bar mitzvahs are fairly important. They're generally more important than birthdays are, in the Jewish community. Let's say that you would give your good friend $20 for a birthday present... you might want to up it to like 30 or 40. It's your choice though, and it depends on how close you two are. I'm not actually Jewish, but I have a Jewish friend and she tells me all of this stuff.
My best friend and I always go shopping at the mall together, but there`s been a problem lately. My friend always wants us to match & it's starting to get annoying because I want my own style. For example: We both were shopping together & saw the same purses. We ended up buying the same one`s but in different colors, and now my friend wants to make a habit of this and buy matching purses for every season like a fall purse, winter purse, etc. This friend & I went to the mall this past Sunday [ Yesterday ] and she saw what I had picked out to buy, it was like a tshirt and a pair of jeans, and then she picked out the same one`s. She DID ask if I was okay with her buying the same thing`s as me and since I was on the spot, I said yes. Well now I don`t really want to have the same thing`s as my friend, because I want to be an individual, not a twin!! I`m not sure what I should do or say, because I would feed bad asking my friend to take back her purchases and I don`t want to take back mine. So what I`m asking, is, what should I do to stop the matching in the future? Please Help!!
i've had some stuff like that happen to me, too. my friends will copy my style and then claim that they started it or something. basically, if you see your friend wearing her outfit one day, wear yours like three days later. nobody wears the same thing twice a week, and people won't remember that you two have the same clothes unless she makes a big deal out of it, which is retarded. in the future, if this is still bothering you, when you go shopping and your friend asks if it's okay to buy the same thing, just simply tell her that you'd rather not. and explain why, in a nice way. she might get mad, but she'll get over it and you two will have different clothing. as for the different purses per season, that's just weird. or, you can avoid going to the mall with her for a while. your choice.
My sister just recently went to University of Texas in Austin for a softball scholarship. I'm extremely happy for her. I didn't think I'd miss her much becuz she was so bossy but then I started crying and it lasted for hours! We can still e-mail and we have a webcam but I won't get to see her untill Christmas! Are these feelings normal for a sister whose leaving?
yes. i'm the youngest of my family and i've had a brother and a sister go to college 4 hours away. for a few months, you're sad, but then you get over it because being an only child rocks. in about two years, you're going to be used to not having her there, and it will be weird when she comes to visit. trust me, you may not think of it that way now, but you will in the future. i still email, text, call, instant message my brother and sister. i mean, it's not like we've grown apart... we've actually grown closer. but yeah, you do get over it pretty quickly.

Well.. the harrassment has been going on since 4th grade...
Basically all the popular people and the majority of my class think that I'm a fag (like gay).. but I'm not.. I have a girlfriend of 6 months.. and we're really happy together...
I don't even act gay at all.. everyone just thinks I am.. and I think it's because most of my friends are girls.. but I don't understand why that would make me gay- because wouldn't that mean that I like hanging out with girls because they are nice to me??

Another thing.. I am one of the smartest people in the class (4.0 average).. and I always do good on tests.. do people make fun of me because they are jealous that I get good grades and they don't.. I mean I don't go around bragging about my grades.. people ask me what I got.. and I just tell them in a modest way...

oh.. and on myspace- I put up a picture that was the one everyone does (upside down peace sign with big sunglasses).. so then one of the people who makes fun of me posts a comment about it saying "wow ur a homo" so i posted a comment back saying "i was making fun of myspace.. lol".. so then he posts regular comments saying stuff like "i wasn't kidding about the pic comment" and "everyone thinks you're a fag" and "we hate you"...
So that just made me think of how much my class despises me- and I don't even say anything mean to them.. I try being nice.. but they just aren't.. the only ones who actually care about me are my close friends.. and that's only like 10 people max. outta the 250-300 in my class...

the people at your school sound like fags themselves! obviously you don't act like you're gay, and most normal dudes hang out with a lot of girls. they're probably all jealous of your grades. i know, i get crap about my grades all the time because everybody thinks i'm the perfect child, when really i'm not. i can't exactly tell you to ignore them because it sounds like that really won't help. it sounds like all these guys want is to get a rise out of you. honestly, from what you've said, i can't think of any other reason why they would harass you like this because if a guy has a girlfriend, it's obvious he's not gay. if i were you, i would just hang out with close friends and tell everybody else to piss off. i'll tell you why i hate bush. he has ruined our economy. everybody is always hating on bill clinton, but in reality clinton was the one that got our economy back on its feet, but then bush comes in and wrecks everything. the minimum wage is a disgrace to our country. 5.15 an hour? what the hell? who can support a family off of that? what he's doing is eliminating the middle class. pretty soon, there will be the very rich and the very poor. a lot of people shop at wal-mart because it's cheaper. it's so cheap because wal-mart gives jobs to people in other countries because they will work for just about NOTHING. it's taking jobs away from americans and giving them to people in thailand or wherever. and the people that actually work at wal-mart? they can't even afford to have company INSURANCE because they don't get paid enough because things are so cheap at wal-mart. but people have to keep shopping there because of the economy and gas prices and things like that. besides that, bush doesn't even know how to run a country. the only reason he was put into office is because he "has good, christian morals." again, what the hell? just because he's a christian doesn't mean he can run a country. so basically, since he has these so-called good morals, all the preachers are preaching that we should support bush and the war in iraq. so all of these mindless republican lemmings believe that crap and vote bush back into office. a lot of people voted for dubya because his daddy was in office. well, just because somebody's father could run a country doesn't mean the son can. just because my dad is a diesel mechanic doesn't mean that i can do that kind of stuff, and just because i can play piano doesn't mean that my children will be able to. back to good morals. if bush had such good morals, he never would have sent troops into iraq. because seriously, WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. we CANNOT fix ANYTHING over there. as soon as we pull out of iraq, things will go back to the way they were. and for what purpose? a lot of people liken this war to the vietnam war back in the day. I just got a Nikon d50 Digital SLR camera, and I was just wondering if it would damage the camera or lens if I kept taking the lens that I have off all the time. I just dont want the camera to get messed up because I keep taking the lens off and put it back on a lot.

it shouldn't hurt the camera. just make sure that you keep both the lens and the camera in a safe place because if the lens, or anything inside the camera gets scratched then you're out of luck. my sister has a canon rebel digital slr and she changes lenses frequently (she is sort of a professional photographer) so she just has to keep everything clean so nothing gets screwed up.
okayy .. i have quite the dilema. my (ex) boyfriend, craig.. of 5 months and me broke up .. its been about a month .. and i thought i was over him. i could see other people and i am currently dating a guy named mark. well mark could be in jail for quite some time for breaking his probation by transporting drugs .. but craig was that one guy, the one you will NEVEr completely get over .. you know. and he feels like he fucked up and he wants me back. i want to be with him. i miss him like crazy. but i guess ive keepen it hidden .. even from myself ..

allright, say you have to get 35% of 1700. 35% is the same as 35/100 (35 over 100) which is the same as .35 so you multiply .35 X 1700 to get your answer. the same goes for 2% of 50 or something. 2% is the same as .02, so you would multiply .02 X 50 to get your answer.

Ok, so I always talk on AIM, but girls always ask me to call them. Problem is, I'm bad at talking on the phone, without having an "awkward silence." Especially with the girl I'm crushing on. What are some good phone topics or good conversation starters on the phone so that it doesn't feel awkward, and so I can call them more frequently? O I'm 15/m btw.
you can talk about anything that pops into your mind. keep a list by the phone of topics like: school, music, food, movies, stuff like that. find out what she's interested in. talk about stuff that happened at school that day or something. you can call to ask about homework or something. if there's an awkward silence, make up something (i do it all the time). what i mean by this is, if you can't think of anything to say, pretend that you were talking to your mom or dad or something, or that your dog just ate something important. i make up stupid stuff all the time, like if i can't think of anything to say, and the other person says, "are you there?" i'll be like, "oh, sorry, i was watching tv." and then you can talk about what you were supposedly watching. this always works when i'm talking to guy friends because my guy friends are too dense to realize that i'm lying. talk about random stuff. i promise you that if a girl asks you to call them, that she just wants to hear your voice even though what you're saying might be totally stupid or something. good luck.

it's already in tab format. if chords confuse you, as in the word "chord" itself, then here's my definition: a chord is one or more notes played at the same time. a chord is nothing fancy. anything can be a chord. learning chord names is hard, but nobody cares about that right now. okay, so at the top of the page it has the different chord names, and the tab for each chord. before i start, i'll explain something about me: i've played piano for 9 years. because i've had a formal piano education, i can pick up other instruments and play them. i've taught myself guitar simply by looking up tabs and listening to the song. so a majority of my advice will be based on whether or not you can hear certain things in a song. with that said, the chord names and the tab for each individual chord is at the top of the page. so the first line of the song, "you should see yourself" has the chords F# (F sharp) and Bb (B flat). listen to the song. can you hear the chord changes? that's when you change chords when you're playing. SO, since the tab writer has included the tabs for the individual chords here, all you have to do is look up at the top, see what the fingering for F# is, see what the fingering for Bb is, and voila, you have your first line of the song. playing guitar is relatively easy, but starting out is tough especially if you haven't taken lessons because you have to know what all this stuff is called (chords, flats, sharps, stuff like that... it's easy, i knew exactly what this stuff was when i was 7). in other words, nobody needs to put it in tab format because it's already in tab format. all you have to do is look up and see what to fret. it's not hard, i promise.
