Ever Since I started exerscising (about once a day for half an hour) I get really bad stomach aches in the afternoon. But only in the afternoon. I dont know why and this didnt happen before that.

I think its your muscles in there working. Try eating a little something when it starts to hurt..or maybe ease up on the ab workouts.

I had a pretty bad cold over the weekend, and since then, I haven't had a voice. I've been taking it easy with it, taking medicine and such, but I need my voice back. I'm trying out for choir and I need a voice. Any remedies or medicines that will get my voice back quickly? Please help, I need a miracle. I'll rate for effort.

-try taking a hot shower and just letting the steam get to your lungs..i sometimes just let the shower run..i shut the door and the windows and i let the steam sooth me.
If i were in your spot, i would also talk to the choir teacher..or write the choir teacher a letter being that my voice was bad..and explain my situation and ask to try out when it gets better. Teachers can be cool people and they can be understanding..so try it and who knows the teacher might say "rest up so you get a fair shot."
-what about the vix vapor rub? ask your mom if that would help..i would immagine so..because if you rub it on your neck it might sooth your voicebox? worth a try right?

ok.. I think you should speak from the heart..and do it asap because if he dies, you will forever regret that you didnt sit by his bedside and talk to him. ok, so im writing a story and i think its pretty good so far!!! i was wondering that if i threw in something where someone got raped it would ruin the story...(i wouldn't describe it i would just mention it)

i think it would add emotion to the reader..whenever i read something about someone getting raped,, i get kind of emotional about it and it draws me into the story.

Your not pregnent if he only fingered you. Okey, so my parents are real strict about my grades, and all year i had a C in math. I need to get higher grades. worksheets? C's. Quizzes? Ds. Tests? F's. I need to learn how to study!! dont tell me to sit there and read, because it isnt my type, and i cant stand still. please help me i need a B!!

I totally understand your situation. Im failing math too! And forget about reading a math book.. i know! So what you should do is stay after school with the teacher. If your math teacher is like mine and never stays after..go to one that does! thats what i do..and when the other teacher explains stuff to me, it clicks! So try that..or maybe get together with someone who is good in math and is maybe in pre calculas and really knows their stuff..that can really help also. I think getting extra help and having someone explain it to you until it clicks is way better than reading. There are also math websites..sometimes i go to google and type in math practice for math b1 (thats the math im in) and i practice stuff on there..

ok...all my friends have their boyfriends and all this stuff and they always want 2 do something with them and it makes me really upset to see them all have someone they like except me. Everytime they ask me to do something with all of them i will say mmm.... im not sure! and they will get mad at me...

ok..its perfectly natural to feel lonely when you dont have a bf and all your friends do..they should totally understand this! Just tel them..im happy that all of you have bfs..but i get kind of lonely because i dont have one, and i kidna get upset/sad if we all go out together and im the only single one; so can we have a girls night out on maybe saturdays..and fridays maybe you hang out with your bfs? Im sure they would totally understand..my friends were even insisiting on trying to hook me up..so im sure they will understand if you talk to them honestly

I'm not sure how many of you will remember but I am the girl who talks to her boyfriend on the phone, and I was afraid that I was caught because we were talking dirty on the phone. Ok hi i answered your original question. Well i definately think your sister knows because otherwise why would she tell your mom? And being that your mom came up and asked you if everything was clean..i think shes catching on too. I would be kind of embarassed..and i would stop talking dirty until nobody was around. try talking dirty online to him..maybe using a webcam?

I'm headed out to Las Vegas this summer, driving alone from East Lansing, Michigan. I've already got three stops (free room for the night!) planned, one in Kasnas City, KS, next to Gunnison, CO and finally Reno, NV.

Does anyone have any advice as far as road tripping tips, places to eat, stop or see along the way? I'm just looking for general tips and tricks, since I'm going to be by myself for the whole trip. Things to keep me alert and awake, which roads to take, which not to take, where construction is and that sort of thing.

Your trip sounds awesome! im probably not the most knowledgeable but i saw nobody answered you yet so i figured i would give it a shot.
I suggest sticking to the dollar menu while travelling. It can save you some $$! If you spend like $4 a meal, thats $12 per day on food so not bad! Gas wont be cheap, hopefully your not driving like an suv or anything. In Nevada, be sure to visit the Hoover Dam...its a wonderful sight so my father tells me. I would save your money up for Vegas. I mean sure COlorado and Kansas is nice..(Colorado especially is scenic..so maybe if your into that stuff stop off to do some hiking or something)..but Vegas is glamourous and a wonderful trip! See shows,gamble a little,eat all the good food..so if it were me i would try to conserve money until Vegas.
Im sorry i cant help you on where construction is and what to take..maybe go to google and look at a map or atlas for the best way?

Well i am a girl 14 and i have a boyfriend. Hes serious and everything but i dont like kissing him. it kinda feels weird. but i was out with my friend, whos a lesbian, ane she started getting all touchy feely w/ me...and i kinda got worried..then she was all..do you really like kyle? This isnt like cheating on your bf with another guy..so i wouldnt tell him anything about hooking up with the girl. Dont tell your friends, or anyone..i wouldnt..because its a big thing to come out if your bisexual. theres nothing wrong with being bi..but people your age would make fun of you..it would get around..your parentss would say its only a phase..so i agree with the person who said dont come out for the next couple of years. OK on the top..see the columnists button? Click that and scroll down and look for her. Maybe in her columnist info there would be something like her name,picture, etc. .that way you can find her..other than that..theres no way..you would have to ask around for her column name or ask her yourself.

ive got my exams in less than two months and i feel like ive learnt nothing in the last two years. i must have.. but we were given practice papers in maths and i couldnt do hardly any of it.what am i going to do??and im not telling my mom so dont suggest that please. please reply soon. xxxx

I feel pressured when it comes to exams also. Try getting someone who is really smart and have them kinda help you out. Go to the math teacher after school for extra help. Hopefully yours stays after more than mine.
They have books to help you study in the bookstore, but i suggest hooking up with somoen who knows their stuff to help you out.

I was in Disney like 5 years ago, and I was wondering- what do you think is the best place of interest in that area? Like Epcot, Universal, Disney, or should I make it a point to maybe visit all three?

I just got back about a month ago..I went to universal and all the disney parks..i dont know what i liked the most! they were amazing. If you can..visit all of them. We got a 5 day Universal Package..but if your limited on time and money..you can see Universal (both islands of adventure and universal studios) in 2 days if you move..3 would be more comfortable. I love all the disney parks: Magic kingdom,Epcot, Universal,Animal Kingdom..in the past ive gone to the water parks but i guess you can skip them if your pressed for time and money. I didnt go to the water parks when i recently went. I would definately try to get to both Universal and Magic Kingdom.

Universal has a mardi gras kind of celebration..if you go from feb.12 or something-april something i beleive..every friday or saturday night..forget which...they have a big celebration. Nice parade, they throw beads..people on stilts..its quite nice..followed by a concert.When i was there the Go-gos performed..i beelive the temptations were scheduled to perform the following week.

Its accelerated in technology..wonderful rides and shows. Must see!

Disney is a classic and i dont think i can ever go to florida without going there. All the parks are great...i dont know if i can pick a favorite..

nOTE: in Downtown disney there is something with 5 floors of arcade games..if your into that def check it out. im sorry i forgot the name of it..

ok. I almost lost my home yesterday because of a huge flood. and i was to call my "best friend" on the phone. and this is the conversation.
me: hey
her:hey I heard about the flood
me: yeah, they might not let us back in our houses for 2-3 months.I'm basicly homeless.
her:oh well I have 2 friends over and I don't want to be rude

....there were only two friends of mine that said "hey well if you need a place to live you can come here" if my "friend" was actually my friend why did she blow me off in my time of need?

That is horrible. Ive found that in a time of need..whether its a physical need ..like a place to go..or an emotional need..maybe something happened and your affected emotionally..when your in a time of need you see who your true friends are. I'm confident that if this was me..i would have 4 or more people offer me a place to go..because i have really awesome friends.
Maybe your friend was rude like that because
1.she isnt good with people or comforting them..
2.isnt emotional
3. just a bad friend?
I would be very angry myself..i mean its one thing if she said "im soo sorry..thats horrible! i have to go..but i'll definately call you later"\
but that convo? man..this is just me..but i would say to her "what you said on the phone hurt me..gave me the impression you didnt care" because i would want an explanation for that. So if you want one too, talk to her about it.

Today I was standing in a grassy area when my friend ran at me and knocked me over. I hit the back of my head very hard on the ground and my whole head started aching. I had to lie on the ground for about ten minutes because I couldn't get up. My friend walked me home to make sure I was okay and I felt better. Now I have started to feel sick, my head hurts a lot and I feel very weak and tired. I have had concussion before but my vision was distorted and I actually threw up that time. Is this just normal because I knocked my head or have I got concussion or something?

My dad hit his head and an ambulance had to come and the whole deal. The ambulance person said that any blow to the head should be looked at because its serious..he said my dad could have went to sleep and not woke up in the morning (meaning he would fall into a concussion or unconsiousness in his sleep) so to be on the safe side get it looked at by a doctor.

My mum and dad have had one of those 'loveless' relationships and now they have separated but theyre still living together. From what Ive been told my mum only married my dad because she was 31 and wanted to have kids. They were together for ages before they married.
My dad didnt treat my mum that good and when it came to bringing us up he left it down to her. He would never really look after us.
Anyways my mum told me that she started seeing her 'highschool sweetheart'. I dont know if theyre actually together together. I kinda had my suspitions before.
My mum asked if I would like to meet him. I said I didnt know. I told my boyfriend about the situation and he said why did u say that for, you shouldn't see him. My brother said the same thing.
I love both my parents a lot. My mum hasnt been happy for a very long time. Now she seems alot happier and that makes me feel happy. From what Ive heard he's nice guy. But I feel that if I see him or am nice to him then im gonna be kinda betraying my dad who knows nothing about it. Im really confused.

I dont blame you for being confused. I dont think its betraying your dad..i mean your mom is the one who is having a fling behind his back. Shes happy though..so dont worry about it..its up to your mom to worry about going behind yourdads back. I would feel happy for my mom too if my dad didnt treat her right and she was happy. So i say give him a chance and meet him.. everyone feels different about these kinds of things..but you seem to feel happy for your mom..so why not bmeet the guy whos making her so happy! :) I bet hes a nice guy and would give you kids a lot of attention and love.

I've always been told that I am a talented actor. Lately though, I have been restricted from acting by my parents. This is due to my average and not superior grades. I've been trying for nearly 7 months to get the great grades my parents require so that I can do the thing I love most. I just can't get focused enough, I come home and just forget to do my homework after my chores. I am smart, and know that I am capable of good grades, I just can't get my brains together. I would like to go to a study group, but my parents won't let me do that either. How can I get back in my honor roll tactics, and into theatre acting again?

Ask for a study group again, only name the benefirts it has such as
1. The kids in the group know a lot about (whatever subject) and can really help
2. it will help you concentrate
3. Tell them if they dont see a change from the group, you'll stop with the study group.

Go after school to a different teacher every day yto get help. Thats what i had to do when i got back from Florida to get my grades up.

If your parents dont want the study group, just meet with some people in your school library or the public library for the study group.

If you have a study hall..get as much work done in there as possible.

When you come home do homework first and then your chores.

i love singing, dancing and acting! i love been on stage but every time i do the school production or tell people i go to a stage school on a weeken then they say that its typical and say that im a drama queen. one of my friends say that i learn to act so that i can lie and make up stories to get attention! i dont know where it comes from because im really quiet at school. i only open up on stage because i feel that its not me! am i o.t.t? what do i do to change their minds?

IGNORE the people who are trying to bring down you and your dreams!! Keep doing what you love and dont listen to those people. Tell your friend this is your passion and either support you or dont say anything because you passion wont be shot down by anyone! Dont just open up..be the star! shoot for the moon! accelerate yourself and be the best you can be. You dont need to please anyone or change their minds..because they dont matter. Just tell them your passionate about what you do and you dont want to be brought down! they either support you and are positive about it..or they can keep their mouths shut.
Follow your dreams..dont listen to anyone who is negative about your dreams!

I am currently searching for work experience and have written letters out to all of the places where I may be able to find it. However, if more than one of them says yes, how do I say no to those that I don't choose? What should I write in my letter?

Something short and sweet..they wont be angry and yell at you..they understand that the job world is very competitive and you simply found a better job and already accepted.
