A girl that doesn't really like me told my best friend that my boyfriend tried to get with her. My best friend of course told me, and I talked to my boyfriend about it. He said that yes he was being friendly with her, but he never did anything with her at all (random note she is not attractive and doesn't seem like his type at all. Nor is she easy). He even showed me a text with her telling her that we are on break (which we were but we still talked and were exclusive) but things between us were getting better (which they were). Weird thing to tell someone you want to get with, right? Anyways, I decided to stay with him just because I believed him, but I made sure to keep my guard up. My best friend was absolutely not okay with this, and pretty much made me choose between me and him. I told her that I want to keep my love life to myself, and our friendship, even though it was rocky before this had occurred, got even worse. Since then everything between my man and I have be been going pretty smoothly, and then bam, I see he commented on a girls photo telling her its sexy. It was on facebook for the whole world to see. I snapped and broke up with him. Now I'm not sure if it was worth throwing 15 months away over. The reason I snapped is because of what happened five months ago, which I still don't know really happened. I don't know what to do. He's been denying doing anything wrong that involves infidelity, and he doesn't seem very remorseful about the facebook girl because she's from a different country, but still it bothers me. What do I do?! (we're all in college btw). And I'm willing to dump my best friend because she hasn't always been a good friend to me (link)

well the facebook comment, i know it's upsetting when a guy says things like that but it's just in their nature and it's over facebook so i don't think you have anything to worry about they tend to do that remember it's just a comment but be sure to tell him that you aren't okay with this and if he isn't tring to get back with you after you broke up then know that he doesn't regret it and probably doesn't want to be with you so you should actually wait for him as for your friend it's really wrong of her to ask you to choose because i'm sure both of them are pretty special to you so tell her that she just has to deal with or you know that that she doesn't want you to be happy and your friendship means nothing to her but i think that you should get back with your boyfriend but also remember that you can't be in this relationship if you don't trust him

i'm a smoker and my boyfriend doesn't have a problem with it but the taste and smell is really nasty and i want to stop for myself but i've found this to be extremely difficult and it plays on you mentally so for now you should just ask her to cut down until she can quit because trust me it's not easy at all

Alright, so i'm having a sweet sixteen coming up in 4 days. I invited about thirty people. People that i use to be friends with, lets say about three of them i did not invite. It all started where they all turned on me and stopped talking to me because they had a party where they drank alchohol, didn't invite me and i got angry and i told my parents. First off, i tell my parents everything and my parents could give two craps about any of these friends. I turnto them for everything and i made the mistake of telling them in front of a fake friend. So they all started ignoring me, made me cry, and actually had the nerve to post a status on facebook about how immature someone is to not invite someone to their birthday party because there mad. I usually don't confront people, i just like it to slip by but i'm starting to realize i need to stand up for myself. So what do you think, confront or ignore? (link)

i think that you should definately confront them about this if you ignore them it's noot going to stop and they will keep making these nasty comments, don't be rude about it because this could make things worse simply speak to them and make them understand that you confide in your parents and tell them why you didn't invite them but be stern and show them that you're no longer gonna take their shit.

well if it's her best friend they tend to tell each other stuff like that and if her friend doesn't have a reason to lie to you then why would she, tell your girlfriend that it's really bothering you and assure her that you wont break up with her and you just want to know the truth that will get her to talk or better yet ask her in her friends presence and see her reaction

My friend's DISTANT relative died...and she's been throwing a pity party for weeks.
At first I was okay with it because I know how people react when others die, but it's been about a month and she's still at it.
I'm not being cold, but when someone keeps bringing down the mood randomly (for something not that serious since everyone has to die sometime) it really bugs everyone. I felt like I shouldn't say anything at the beginning because everyone grieves (although they were definitely not close) but now I'm pretty sure I should say something. it's really good and a start that you realise if you keep in contact with him you're only gonna get hurt you need to keep reminding yourself that he hurt you sweetheart, the only way you're going to forget about him is if you move on or you start hating him he's just using you and you know that, he wants to mess around with you without being tied to a relationship he's a total dolt and doesn't deserve you and you sure as hell don't deserve to be treated this way, remember that you have to respect yourself and your pride by staying away from him, this means lose all contact with him facebbok, texts, phonecalls etc. he'll eventually get the point but if he doesn't it's best that you tell him that you're not here to be messed with and you've had enough of his shit, do the right thing hun theres someone better out there waiting to find you!

So it's been a month now since I broke up with my ex bf. I have a new bf and he sees pictures of me and my ex on his facebook all the time ...it kinda bothers him...no wait it really bothers him and he asked me why my ex has those pictures up still and I told him I don't know. Well last night my ex text me about something I don't remember and I asked him to put the pictures down. He told me that he wouldn't and I quote "I don't care for your relationsips these are my pictures and I want to remember what we had" I don't care what he does in his private home but I just don't want to see pictures of us on facebook like it doesn't look cool. I don't know why he's acting like this, what can I do to have him at least put them in a private file or something?

well since it's only been a month and you already moved on, it's obvious that it would be hard for you ex bf to move on he's still not over you and well you can't blame him for that, if you want him to remove your pictures you need to tell him personally:
make sure that you don't give false hope as to any reconciliation with him in the future
assure him that this just wasn't meant to be and theres somebody better out there that you're not the right girl for him and it's okay to move on
ask politely that he remove these pictures as you won't be getting back with him and it would ruin his chances of getting another girlfriend as girls wont want somebody thats hung up on their ex
lastly you have to speak to your current boyfriend and tell him that he has to understand that it's hard for your ex because it's only been a month let him know that you're with him now and thats all that matters
