oo wow this just happend this second . I have been home all day bored out of my mind. My bestfriend and I were planning on going to the movies. But I told her this guy I like is going she knows this guy and she doesnt like him. So now she is saying oo I dont want to go to the movies, so i told her wanna go bowling ice skatting skating etc and she said no she wants to go home and i go why and she goes cause if he is going to be there i dont want to be there. She is being very selfish what do i do? Do i let her go home invite another friend or do I talk to her about and if i do what do i tell her she is very snobby bratty and bitchy. so i have no idea what to tell.

Just let her go home. If she doesn't want to be there, don't force her to. You like the guy, and she doesn't. She does not have to be around people she doesn't like. I haven't gone to certain places because people I completely resent were coming. It is her choice. I think the best thing to do is hang out with whoever you made plans with -first-.

It means to be blunt or frank, you tell people exactly what you think. An example of this is if your friend is wearing something that you really hate and she asks you what you think of it and you say you hate it. This is not an extreme example of being outspoken, though, but I'm sure you get the drift of it now.

Yes, I would still marry the person. As a realist and a pessimist, I know that marriages most often end in divorce. If and when this happens, you don't want to be screwed because you didn't want to sign a prenup.

If you move, it isn't going to change much. There are many assholes wherever you go, unfortunately.
Plus, if you move, that shows you are intimidated. If you are intimidated, they win.

As dumb as this may sound, I didn't actually realize how horrible it is, when you eat chicken & hamburgers. I didn't actually understand the concept that for me to eat a hamburger, is for an innocent cow to just die. My friend sent me an e-mail with a video about fur trade in China, and how dogs & cats are skinned and killed everyday just for fur. But, it got me to thinking how horrible that actually is. I really have been thinking about it today, and I think just eating hamburgers & chicken is disgusting especially knowing that an animal died for that. I'm really considering turning into a vegetarian. Do you believe that this is a good enough reason to want to turn vegetarian? Thanks so much. ♥ (link)

It isn't something I'd ever do, but no one can decide what is a "good enough" reason, since that question is all subjective. One person's views will greatly differ from another's. Do what you feel is right.

Wait to see if you really like him or if you are just interested in a week-long relationship.
If you -do- really like him, then go for it.
If you want a short term relationship, and he does also, then that's great. Date him, no strings attached.
If you want a short term relationship, and he -doesn't-, it is best to remain friends.

ok, i am an 18 year old female and my boyfreind is 22 years old. we live a ways apart (him new york me ohio) because i was forced to move. well, we have been living apart for about a month and a half and we can't take it anymore. but we can't decide wether we should have me move up there with him or have him move down here with me. at first we had sorta planned me going and living with him. but then my mom found out that she might have a tumor on her ovaries, tubes, or liver. She doesnt want me to leave because she needs me and my brother will too. (in situations where there is trouble, my brother looks up to me, if im doing ok he will be fine and he knows that). So my mom asked me to ask him to move here so that we coudl both support her and each other. (my mom likes him) but then i owuld be asking him to uproot his life. from the place he lived for 20 years. from his family and his freinds and everything he knows. so i asked him if he would be WILLING to do so. He told me "Whatever i have to do to be with you". But now i feel like i am being selfish in asking him to do that. did i do the right thing in asking him to move here? please help i will rate all good answers as 5's. any smartass comments dont get rated! Yes, you did the right thing for your situation. Your mother needs your support right now, and leaving her, especially after she has taken care of you all your life, when she is needs you the most would be the -wrong- thing to do. Your boyfriend probably realizes it, his comment might have just came out wrong ("Whatever I have to do to be with you.") If you are really concerned about this, ask him. What's the worse that can happen? Even if he says that he is a little hesitant about moving, at least he is being honest with you (which is important, in my opinion).

ok so this is lame. but one of my friends' birthday is tomorrow and i dont have any clue what to get her. I really havent even had a chance to think of what to get her. I just started a new job at a Superstore in the Apparal department. The store hasnt opened yet so right now we are doing the set up.
I am concerned because I've only had two shifts since I got called in last week. My boss called me in to work today, we had a two hour orientaition about health and safety. But get this, after the orientation everyone else in my department got jobs to do, and me and another lady got sent home!!! Then I found out that everyone else except me and this other lady had been called in all this week and had been getting tons of hours!! I asked my boss when my next shift would be and she said "I'll call you".
I have a really bad feeling and so does this other lady, neither of us has had a shift since last wednesday.
I don't understand why everyone else is getting hours except us.
Should I start looking for another job? And should I ask my boss what the heck is going on? (link)

My friend Chelsea is on Birth Control and she always has something wrong with her. such as bad headaches,cramps, and a few times shes had to switch medicine because of the side effects and go to the hospital. and she said something the other day like. I wish i never started these things. I have been thinking about getting on BC so that way i would know when my period is coming and such (im 15) but i was just wondering is birth control that bad with everyone? No, it isn't that bad with everyone. I am on birth control for a medical reason and have been since I was younger, and nothing of that sort has ever happened to me. The only thing I could think of that happened was that I couldn't put my contacts in for a few weeks (which is a side effect of a few birth control pills). You don't know until you try, and if you don't like what happens you could always stop taking it.

k well i got my period on the 13th (right before i went to bed.) this is not my first period; i've had it since march. anyway, i went to bed and in the morning i woke up and there was no blood on the pad. when i got home from school, there was no blood either. and the NEXT morning there wasn't either. i haven't seen it since then. what happened? are periods THAT short? No, they usually aren't but for some people irregular periods such as this last for years. Even if you didn't just start, it may start to be a little different and unpredictable for a while.
