so i like 2 guys and i dont know which one to focus on or which is even worth going out with.
guy number one:
-he's a very close friend
-i know him much better than the other guy
-we talk everyday
-we say hi in the hallway
-we "play fight"
-he's rich! but im not materialistic
bad stuff:
-he is possibly getting back with his ex who has only caused him pain and misery
-i don't think he likes me
-he has anger issues

guy number 2:
-he's really nice
-he flirts with me
-in class he asks me to sit near him
-his friends were teasing him about liking me and he was like "shut up go away"
-he's alright looking, not an amazing hottie
bad stuff:
-he smokes pot and cigarettes
-he rarely says hi in the hallway or in a study hall we have together...he only says hi in a different class that we have
-he doesn't have a job


i don't know what i should do. there isn't anyone else at my school that i like.

Obviously the first guy you know better bt you dont know if he likes you and he may be getting back with his ex, i think guy 2 is your best option. Its just not good that he smokes pot but if you go out with him you could ask him to stop =/

when i wash my hair i want it to be able to dry nice, so i dont really have to do anything to it. i have like big hair thats not curly or straight. my mom said i could get osmething done to it but idk wat i want...any ideas?

Having it cut shorter might help, my hair is the same, it isnt curly or straight and it goes frizzy and big when i wash it. I had mine cut and it has helped a little but if you dont want to cut your hair whilst drying it comb it too, it straightens it whilst you are drying. (There are also hair dryers that have a brush at the end you can now buy, i think babyliss sell them)
You could also have your hair chemically straightened but im not sure how much damage that would do to your hair or if it is expensive

Lice is going around my school. What can I do to prevent getting it and how long to lice live when they aren't in hair?

Buy a lice comb now just to check that you havent already got them, and also buy some shampoo to get rid of head lice, Go to the chesmist and talk to the pharmacist, they will know which ones are best.

Okay so I've decided to do this Special K thing. So what I plan on doing is eating a bowl of it before school/in the morning, having a Special K Bar/Granola Bar/Fruit for lunch, and then Special K again for dinner, and occasionally having regular dinner. I've joined the volleyball team where I have practice every day after school (except Thursdays because of religion classes) for about an hour/hour and a half. Soon, basketball will be starting, so I'll be having practice Friday nights, and games on weekends. I really want to lose 15-20 pounds before summer of '08, and I was wondering if this was a good goal, and I'm really motivated so I really wanna try to lose weight and stick to it, so just let me know if there's anything else I can do to help me lose weight, and if you think my plan&goal are good and reasonable.

Hey, i tried the special k diet for 2 weeks, i didnt drop a dress size, but if you are playing volleyball too then it might work for you. I wasnt really exercising whislt doing the diet.
Id say drinking water throughout the day will help you lose the weight and have a low fat/low calorie dinner in the evenings.
As for your chest size, it wont change dramatically, maybe a little bit but i doubt you will go to a size B so dont worry =]

google search AVG anti-virus, its really good but im not sure if you have to buy a disk for it. Google it and it should say.

You could ask friends if you could borrow and anti virus disk and put it on your computer

Limewire will be safe if you have an anti-virus program.

14MB isnt that much but you can buy memory cards with alot more memory than that. 1GB is the best but im not sure if you can get 1GB in a phone memory card. Ask at a phone shop, they will tell you everything you need to know. Ask them about how much memory they reccomend for that phone
But 14MB isnt that much because you will want to store photos, videos and sounds in your phone and you wont be able to get much with 14MB

lately my best friend has been acting different and it's just confusing me and making me annoyed. she comes into school in the morning and seriously acts like a zombie, im not kidding, like i'll say something to her and she won't even answer. i mean everyone has those days- and she's obviously not a morning person, but it's EVERY SINGLE DAY. and if i'm around her in the morning, she just puts me in a bad mood, cause like she'll just pass me in the hall and not say anything and if she does, it's hardly anything.

also, i'm not a mean person or anything but she's also been acting kinda bitchy. of course again, everyone acts like one at some point, but it's just making me not wanna be around her, even though i love her to death and she's my best friend. like today in history, my teacher was handing our tests back and she accidently gave mine to my best friend (it must have been mixed in with her papers) my teacher noticed that she didn't have all the tests to give back and asked if anyone had some mixed in. so my friend had mine, and a few minutes later i JOKINGLY said to her "you stole my test" and she flipped out like omggg no i didn't she handed it to me. then, later, when school was over, i was talking to my other best friend, along with this one, and mentioned that she "stole my test", again, joking-yet she was like stop saying that she handed it to me blaaah. like i've been best friends with her since 4th grade and she doesn't realize i'm joking?! it's not like i said it seriously..idk.

it's just weird and unlike her. when we hang out outside of school, she's usually fine (except for the fact she'll like leave at 9 pm willingly, we're 15 almost 16, who stays out to only 9?) i have 4 classes with her in school, so i see her a lot and half of the time she is in a bad/weird mood, so i try not to say much, but when i do, half the time she comes back with something bitchy, and she ends up putting ME in a bad mood. i'm confused, i wanna say something to her, but i'm sure she'll come back with something, and we'll end up in a fight. what should i do? sorry for the length, thankss.

You should invite her around to yours for a chat. Ask her why she is acting this way.
Maybe something is wrong at home or school work is stressing her out, idk it could be a number of things but the best way to find out is talk to her and ask her whats wrong.
Say something like "your my best friend and you can tell me anything so if there is something wrong you know you can tell me"

As for leaving at 9pm she may have a cerfew. Her parents may tell her she has to be home at a certain time. Instead of hanging outside school at night ask if she wants to come back to yours at around 8pm for a little while or maybe sleep over.

in my school, theres 2 lunch periods, most of my friends have 6th lunch, but i have 5th. which sucks, but whatever. i figured it'd be a good opportunity to meet new people, since i'm shy.
so i sit with my friend, who i've known since 7th grade, i'm not really good friends with her, but we're still friends, if that makes sense. she is best friends with this one guy, who sits there, along with his girlfriend. sometimes random people come over and eat too, mostly guys (good thing cause i have like no guy friends either anddd one is particularly cute ;]) so there's about 5 or 6 guys that also randomly come over, although they don't sit with us everyday. i don't think i've ever talked to the kid my friend is best friends with, i dont know why. he's just never said anything to me and i have no clue what to say to him. i've talked to a couple of the other guys a few times, but nothing that makes me their friend. i feel kinda left out sitting at the table sometimes, cuz they have all these inside jokes that i'm not a part of. also, like i said before, i'm pretty shy. although i'm getting better, i'm still not the most outgoing person, and in a lot of situation i don't know what to say. i want to be friends with these guys, cuz i have like no guy friends right now and they seem nice. i'm a sophomore by the way. i'm also really afraid that my friend is gonna be absent and they're gonna ditch me or something, and i'll be alone. there's other people i can eat with, but finding them in my school would be hard. soo how can i join in on conversations and get these guys to think i'm cool?

If you see them around college start saying hi to them and asking how they are, If you start talking to them more they will obviously talk to you too.
Start a conversation with them all at the lunch table, ask them if they have anything planned for the evening or if they have seen a certain tv show you like, something like that. Just start making conversations first and they will talk to you too. You'll be friends in no time
Maybe arrange to go out at the weekend with them and your girlfriends

Go to google and type the hills soundtrack. Sometimes it comes up with websites that list all the songs but sometimes its forums and people are talking about songs that are on the shows or you can ask people in forums if they have any idea what song it was.
I didnt watch it but if i find the episode and i know the song i will let you know.

I'm sorry but I really didn't know what topic to put this under... Anyways my parents won't let me go to homecoming unless I have a date. It's all kind of complicated and hard to explain, but I'll do my best. My sister got pregnant at 15 and I think there holding me accountable for it. Like I get punished because she messed up her life. Which still doesn't make any sense to me because if I'm not going with a guy, doesn't that lessen me getting knocked up by like a lot??! Anyway I've already beat my sis. I'm 17 and still not pregnant. But if somebody could please help me I would really appreciate it. Any advice to talk to my parents about this is good. I don't even know where to begin when I'm talking about situations like this. It uberly pisses me off.

Tell your parents what you think, Tell them that it lessens the chance on you getting pregnant if you dont have a date. Just tell them you dont want a date, you just want to have a great time with your friends. Ask them why they think that because your sister got pregnant you will too. Its important to know how they feel.
I know it pisses you off because you think you are being punished for your sisters mistakes but try and be mature, sit down and talk to your parents about it all.

if the deadline to a school youre early decision-ing to is like november 1st, how early do you have to send in all your stuff? the apps are all online but like teach recs and secondary school reports an transcripts and stuff?

They usually want things in pretty early, If the school is popular then send all the applications etc in asap to guarentee a place

For a senior class trip we are going to Grad night at Disney World in Florida. Anyway, the trip will be roughly $600 a person. As you can see, it's a pretty expensive trip. It's actually really good for all it includes (meals, bus, hotel, etc.)
Anyway, the students who are going need to come up with some fundraising ideas to help us lessen the price. Unlike with clubs and such we don't have any starting money. We need ideas where we can do things with nothing. (The school has NO money to start us out with and we don't want to risk losing money if the idea fails).
So, any suggestions would be really helpful.

We've come up with a car wash, but I live in NC and where I live there is a drought thing going on and there are water restrictions so it wouldn't be legal.
The trip is in April so if the restrictions are lifted by then we are going to do a teacher car wash or something along those lines.

Any other ideas? Remember, it has to be something we can do with no prior funds.

You could ask the teachers to participate fooball/basketball game and they could get sponsers (Thats if they are willing to help you out) The teachers playing against you. You all could collect sponsers to raise money.

You could host a talent competition, all you would need to organize are selling tickets and maybe booking the school hall.

Bakesales usually raise quite abit of money but you would need money to start off with to buy the cakes to sell.

You could do lots of little fundraising events to make more money.
