limewire/ares for mac
i just got a macbook and i was wondering if using limewire/ares or a file sharing program would completely detroy it
some people say it wont if i have an anti virus program but i dont think i have that?
if some can let me know from past experiences or give me an anti virus program to download thatd be awesome thanks

google search AVG anti-virus, its really good but im not sure if you have to buy a disk for it. Google it and it should say.
Its a really good program, i have it on my computer but im not sure how my dad put it on =]
You could ask friends if you could borrow and anti virus disk and put it on your computer
Limewire will be safe if you have an anti-virus program.

Almost no viruses will work on the Mac, just like most software doesn't work on it. As long as you're not stupid( see my answer at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ), you'll be just as safe or safer than a windows user with an antivirus.
Also, you can't use AVG on Mac, and you wouldn't *want* to use it on Windows; it's worse than having no antivirus at all.

i use limewire i dont think it will infect your computer but if u dont have and anti virus it will i have avg anti virus is good just google fee anti virus and download it
