Ok, at the track its four laps=one mile. i can do that easily in 10 minutes, slowly jogging.
on the treadmill, i can 'jog' a mile for 15 minutes. and thts a slow jog.
In order to run it in 10 minutes on the treadmill, i'd have to go on 6mph and thats really fast. i'd really like to know if the mile is actually the same distance bc i really do'nt think it is.

therfore: it must be easier on a treadmill.
plus there is wind factors, and momentum, and traction and all other sorts of suff that help you go faster in real life.

alright.
The idea is, if you work harder, you will feel pain for a lesser time.
One, open your feet more.
like the whole leg, from the thighs.
two, breath through your nose.
three, begin with a sprint and keep it for as long as possible,
four, if you get comfortable during your run, push more (go faster).
five, breath through your nose, plenty of fluids at least half an hour before.
six, sing a song in your head to act as a distraction.
seven, sprint the final hundred metres.
eight, Don't look back.
nine, never stop for a break, if you feel really tired, still continue as a slow jog.
ten, strecthes my friend, strecthes
You got a lot to do if you want to try for track, I can run a mile in under 7 minutes, and I am not the best runner in my school.

I met this guy at a series of math conferences. He's really cute, fun to talk to, and really smart. During the conference breaks, we basically spent the whole time talking and hanging out. Ok well this is a really strange question since most people ask the opposite, but does anyone know how I could gain like 10 pounds since I am really really skinny and people blame me for being anorexic? (and please just don't say eat more, since I already eat a lot and it doesn't really do anything). I pretty much want to gain weight all over, except for my abbs which i want to keep flat. Any ideas? its not the amount you eat, its what you eat. Eat anything fatty like burgers and fries.
ANd sleep more. sleep contibutes to excess weight. ANd just be generally more lazy for a while. and do abs so you don't gain too much around the waist.
OR
you can do some super tough workouts, like lot of pushups and lot running and weights. ANd eat a whole lot of steak and eggs and protien.
WHichever is easiest for you.

There is not so much games like that out there. and I have nerver played any of the games above so i don't know if they are that good.
But if you want to play cool 1 player rpgs there is a whole line up by square enix. Like the final fantasy series and kingdom hearts.

I gave up gossiping because apparently everyone thinks I have a problem with it and when I hear something, it's the hardest thing to keep my mouth shut! I haven't broken my vow yet, and I don't plan on it, as hard as it is. I have broken it past years with things like candy and complaining last year. I was just wondering, how many teens and young adults here find it hard to keep your vows for lent? Even if it's something simple like, sodas. I am not sacrificing anything this year. BUt when I do, i find it really tough for the first ten days. after that it is smooth sailing. But that is because I learn to stay as far away from whatever I am sacrificing as much as possible.

In 1 week, im going to a semi formal dance, and im bringing my best friend as my date. So I known the talking and stuff wont be awkward. Hes never had a gf and ive never had a bf, we're both in 9th grade. I go to an all girls school, he goes to an all boys school. Heres the thing-He wants to be a priest .. so hes not big on the whole dating thing, even though it seems like he likes me. The problem is, slow dancing. Hes not gonna wanna slow dance with me and i wanna dance with him, all my friends r gonna be slow dancing with there dates. Do ya think he will dance with me when he sees everyone else doing it. An understanding of each other and respect for a fellow man. He should be respected for not dancing around his friends. Unless he acts like a punk or fag around school. Im 13, and my boyfriend is 12 (I was born very early in the year he was born later on) will he is very sweet, and very nice to me. We've been friends (but not like best friends) longer then we've been dating (hasent been that long at all) I think i have a big commitment issue, i mean once i finally get the guy i want.. I am a guy and I totally dig what your saying. I think It is a totally natural feeling, Because I feel the same messed up feeling at times too. But don't sweat it. Second thoughts always occur to everyone. And if you don't feel like talking to him, then don't. It feels akward but it is not really.(if you know what I mean)
Kinda like a love hate relationship where you can't explain the hate piece. And you are afraid that it will be a permanent problem and will seriously thwart you relationship with him.
But here is the thing though, I don't think there is any cure or anything you could do about it. Just float on , and see what it eveolves into. You will probably grow out of it as time goes by.
And heck, it is not like your gonna get married to this guy, so just be comfortable. do what you feel like and don't do what you don't feel like.
And try to treat him just like a friend and not as a boyfriend, cause I think the whole "idea" of "boyfriend" is what causes the feeling.
And don't do sex.
