treadmill vs track

Question Posted Wednesday April 5 2006, 9:14 pm

Ok, at the track its four laps=one mile. i can do that easily in 10 minutes, slowly jogging.
on the treadmill, i can 'jog' a mile for 15 minutes. and thts a slow jog.

In order to run it in 10 minutes on the treadmill, i'd have to go on 6mph and thats really fast. i'd really like to know if the mile is actually the same distance bc i really do'nt think it is.

if you have iformation about this please answer.

it is the same thing.
but lets us study some physics to solve this biological problem.

def: machine - an object used to make work easier.

treadmill= machine

therfore: it must be easier on a treadmill.

plus there is wind factors, and momentum, and traction and all other sorts of suff that help you go faster in real life.
