this year money is tight {i think} my dad put off school supplies till the last second and he only gave me 20$ i need a new backpack cuz he made me get rid of my old ones but i also need like paper pens nd everything to i dont no waht to do i cant ask for more he will get mad but i cant get my stuff with only 20$ he didnt give me any money for clothes or shoes so now i get to go to school with shoes that are falling apart and jeans to small for me and we jusy moved too so i need to make friends but i will look like a loser with no backpack or new shoes and lod clothes that are praticaly to small i need money but i have no way of etting it there is no one to babysit and i am only 13 and get cant a job and i need a haircut as well like bad so how can i get my neccesities it is too late to get stuff from the salavotion army (link)

Well, for book bags, like the person said below, Sears has them pretty cheap. And maybe you can try asking a friend or maybe a neighbor if they got a new one, and have their old one to give to you. But try and look in the paper for garage sales and try going to thrift stores if there's any near by like a Good Will or something. They sell some good shoes and clothes. And they might even sell back packs too. And whenever you go to Staples or Office Max, just by a group of pencils instead of buying like, one for 6 bucks. And also, Office Max might have Back To School sales too so you could get stuff for even cheaper. I know my mom buys like, a thousand folders because they're only like, 30 cents or 90 cents. And same with clothes and stuff too. There are so many Bakc To School sales going around in the stores it's unbelievable. And try seeing if you can find any coupons in any magazines or newspapers. Oh and also, if you didn't move too far away from where you used to live, ask your friends to maybe mail some clothes that they don't want anymore or maybe go around the neighborhood asking people if they have old stuff. I dont even know where to start.
Well, ok. My BFF Got a new boyfriend Named Kyle and she was most deffinetly in love I could tell! Then she found out Kyle has a brother thats my age too!His name was Brian so we decided to go on a double date! I was so excited to meet him. We all went to the buffet for the date. When I met brian we never stopped talking! we chated for hours! so long, my BFF and kyle left and said they would see us later. that night we talked on the phone for hours and the next day we went to the movie. before it started Brian asked if I would be his girlfriend! I was so shocked I said yes. I really really really liked Brian! so Bad! at the movie we held hands!!! then this is where the problum started - you see, Kyle and Brian are birthly brothers but Brian's mom got divoreced with kyles dad. and Brian had a new dad, But kyle was still living with his real father, Then in a car accedent Bolth his mother and father died so he had to live with Kyle and his dad. Fora week Brian seemed deppressed. I asked constently why finnaly he told me that story. I was crying. so he didnt even know his brother that well. But 2 days latter he got over it and me and my BFF wanted to go on another Double date. a real one sense we were all going out. But then my BFF had to tell Brian somthing so she toke him somewhere privet and it was just me and Kyle. Kyle was across from me at the table. Then Kyle touched my leg. "What are you doing?" I asked him he said nothing. and I shoved his hand off. Then He said "You know your pretty atractive." and he touched my leg even higher I said leave me alone! Im going to tell Brian! then he said Yeah Lanie Im really sure he wants to hear about this when his mom and dad just died a month ago. and whos word will he take, yours agenst mine? i mean he just met you. Im his brother. I stod up, begginging to cry, Then kyle got up and french kissed me I pulled him away then bumped into brian. luckily he didnt see the kiss. whats wrong Brian asked me I got somthing in my eye. I lied. i mean kyle was right he would take his side. I found out my BFF only told Brian to hold the door open for me. Now whenever Kyle see's me alone he tries to do "Stuff" to me. I couldent tell brian espeshily beacuse jus got over his parents and I couldent tell my BFF b/c well..you know hes her B/f!! Then things get worse, Brian Told me He wasent paying enough attention to me so he french kissed me! then 1 day later we started making out but I dont know! whenever Im making out with brian it makes me think of kyle. I know its not my fault But I feel like I'm cheeting on him. Kyle acts normal around Brian and my BFF But when we are alone.well you know. and I try to get away. somtimes I make it other times I dont. Please I need help advice advice! -

Well, first of all, I think at least you should tell your best friend because she should know what her boyfriends doing. Wouldn't you want to know if you were her? So just explain to her what happens whenver she leaves the table and such. And if she doesn't believe you [ if he does it EVERY single time ] maybe try having her walk away and hide somewhere close and have her see him try and make a move. But like I just mentioned, make sure he does it every time, cause if he doesn't go after you that time, she'll think you're lying and she'll never believe you then. And even though it'll be really hard to tell Brian, he should know before it continues any further, cause then if Brian knows, Kyle won't be able to come near you anymore cause he probably won't let Kyle hang out with you guys. Just explain to him as calmly as you can. Just be like,"Brian, I know it's only been a month, and I don't want to bring anything else up on you, but I just really need to tell you. Whenever you and [your bff] ever leave the table.. Kyle starts to try and make moves on me. Now, I don't want this to turn into anything big, cause you're already dealing with enough. But, do you think whenever we go on our dates, Kyle can't come along? Or at least, just don't leave the table please?" I just go to Victoria Secret, and they have big body spray bottles for only 10 bucks. I'm not sure how much the perfume costs, though. But I get the body spray, because it's a light overcoat of the perfume. And it depends where you're spraying it and everything.

Well, I've never tried this before, but if you love music so much, whenever you're studying for tests, turn it into a song and memorize the song like, a week or two before the test, so whenenver you listen to it in your head, you can remember the answers. Like, just pick the beat of some song you already know and then be like," Lallaa in 1492 Christopher Columbus saillllled the ocean bluuuueeee lalal" or something like that, lol. I remember seeing something on TV like that once where they taught kids how to create rap songs out of studying and whenever they took their tests, they just rapped to themselves in their heads. Or, just try not to listen to music whenever there's a big important test coming up and just focus on studying. I hope I helped.

i get really bad dark shadows under my eyes, no matter how much sleep i get, and i was wondering if anyone knew a really good, and easy to use coverup that i could use. [i'm not a big make-up person, so simple would be great]

I just use covergirl and it usually works pretty well. I just lightly rub/wipe/whatever you call it over the dark circles. But if you can still notice it there, before I go to bed, I put two spoons in the freezer over night and leave them in there and in the morning I leave them under my eyes for a few minutes. And it causes your skin to puff a little and make your under shadows look less dark. I also found some sites:

If you're sitting there, wanting to check out other guys then you probably don't love him. It's just that you're so used to being his girlfriend and everything. I think you should break up with him. He's only your first, and you're young. You should go out there, date a little more, go after more guys and just have fun and live life. Just explain to him that you just want to hang out with your friends for awhile and just go places and stuff and be single for a little while. Let him know you still really care for him, and you really want to be friends and talk to him cause you don't want to lose him completely. And hopefully, you guys can stay friends, and who knows? If you ever do wind up liking him and wanting to date him again, you can just see if he likes you back and see if you two get together again. So basically, go out, have fun, be single. Well, from what I remember from the movie when Wendy says "Peter!" she says it like "Pee-tah!" and whenever I try saying "British" outloud in a British accent, I don't really say the "t". I would suggest buying Peter Pan and listening to how Wendy or whatever character you're going for talk and try and practice to mimick it. I think [ at least Google says ] that there are different accents in differnt parts of British, so I have no clue the way I'm attempting it [ if I'm even successing at sounding British at all lol ] and they way you want it. So I suggest renting the movie and practicing it and trying to mimick it. I hope I helped.

so i went to this camp with my best friend alexa. we started hanging out with a bunch of guys.in our bunk at night we were talking about who we liked and we realized we both liek the same guy steven. a few nights later we found out steven might like alexa. but she told me she wasnt gunna go out with him or anything cause i liked him. throughout camp he made some moves on her but she did nothing. then i told her i didnt like him so she would have her first hookup. towards end of camp she still did nothing with him. then he told my other friend christina that he would have rather gone out with me. i do still like him but idk if i should go out with him cause that would be really mean to alexa.

Well, I believe the motto "Bros over hoes" or as I like to say "Chicks over dicks". :P Seeing as how she decided not to go after him because she knew you liked him too, I think you should show her the same courtesy and not go after him either. If you did, she'd probably get upset and there's no point in losing a good friendship. So, be a good friend. Because even if she didn't mind, and you guys went out, and if you broke up, she'd still be there in the end, so it doesn't even matter if the guy's there. I hope I helped.

Anyways, this Saturday I'm having a surpise party for my friend John. I'm having about 20 people over and I have no idea what to do!? We're in highschool so we porobablly wouldn't want to play board games and such. I don't have a pool or trampoline.
Any ideas.. fun things. My friends can get bored easily and it's only going to be for at least 3 hours.

Well, I was watching Laguna Beach [ I don't like this season but ANYWAYS ] I was watching it, and for this girl they did a suprise party and they had her friend's band play at the party so if you know anybody who plays music or a friend who knows a friend or anything try and find out and see if someone can play at the party. And just have music playing for awhile and sit around snack and talk. I know you guys might not want to play kids games, but Twister can be alot of fun whenever you're older too and I'm sure the guys wouldn't mind, haha. Also I've seen alot of kids at parties [ on tv ] they'll like put water and soap on the floor and everyone gets down to their underwear [ or just in their clothes ] and they just start running and sliding around on the floor and crashing into can pyramids and stuff. And then just start talking to him from there. Get to know him, see what he's interested in, and maybe even try a little flirting after awhile. my boyfriend of a year has just recently taken up karate. he has a real job until 2 and his classes are from 7-8:30 sometimes 9. it takes up so much time that we barely see each other anymore. i think the karate is pointless because he is 19 years old and he's only doing it because he envy's his best friend who has a black belt. my boyfriend has been doing it for 2 months now and he's not even a white belt. how can i tell him enough is enough and quit without him getting angry? Like the other advicenators suggested, try asking him to maybe cut some classes down, do only two or three a week. Some boys always feel the need to compete with eachother and be the better guy. And it's good he's doing it, too. He's learning self-defense, discipline, and he's being healthy and exercising. My brother took karate for awhile, and it took him forever to get a white belt, it takes a long time to earn them. I know you say you think it's pointless, but maybe you could try taking the class with him and be his partner and everything so you guys could spend time together, and who knows? You might even like it, and at least you'll get some exercise and learn how to defend yourself. I wouldn't tell him ever to quit, because you're not supporting him with whatever he wants to do. Haha, well whenever I was younger, I got gum in my hair many-a-times and what my mother would do is put my head in the sink and she'd wash it out with either peanut butter, or mayonaise. So I've been dating this amazing guy for about five weeks. We click better than I have with any other guy. We have such an amazing relationship and no we haven't said the "love" thing because it's stupid and too early. But there's a dilema...
He got grounded for getting caught throwing a party with his brother at his father's house when they were gone....now he's grounded for three months and we haven't seen each other for three weeks now. We were supposed to yesterday but then things fell apart and he doesn't blame me at all and he tells me how much he misses me but I do think that this not seeing each other will affect the relationship...

I never did anything to deserve it, but people keep calling me a slut and a whore. I dont understand why they are calling me that, and I dont know how to stop it. Its so unfair :( (link)

Whenever people sit there and call and harass, I just sit there and laugh at it. I find it funny, because I feel special enough that they'd take the time out of their lifes and that I'm that important to them that they need to call me. But usually it's just because they know your number, are bored, and have nothing better to do, and are trying to get a reaction out of you because it's "entertaining". But I just sit there, open the phone up and then set it down next to me and wait till it says "Call Ended" so I don't even listen to the phone calls anymore. But if you're very serious about ending the phone calls, you could make a harassment report to the police, and I heard they'll trace the call and find out the name of the person who did it and warn them, and then they can even block the number from your cellphone. Also, if you pick up and start hearing insults, just hang up. About myspace, just make your myspace private, so just your friends can see it, and then go to theirs and block them so they can't contact you at all on myspace. For IMs, just go to the PREFERENCES, go to BUDDYLIST, and go to the PRIVACY area where you can select wether you want just the people below blocked or what. So you can either just block them, or block all people who aren't on your buddylist. [ but that might cause some problems for new friends you make or friends who changed their screename and want to IM you ] so if they ever IM you, I'd just block them really quick. I hope I helped.

oh man, oh man, oh man.. how did i let this happen? I'm in love! And it's not a good thing. He is the last person I should be falling in love with! He is soooo in love with his ex girlfriend (they dated for five years and he can see a future with her.. and he's only 17!) not only.. he lives on the other side of the planet! i only see him once a year (im seeing him this christmas.. i think) this is bad. I think about him ALL THE TIME. And I'm not over reacting, every little thing makes me think of him! EVERYTHING! Like I can be watching TV, and a song he likes comes on (which makes me think of him) so I change the channel.. and there's a commercial about peanutbutter, which makes me think of him because i saw him eating a peanut butter sandwich once! ITS A COMMERCIAL ABOUT PEANUTBUTTER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I don't understand how this happened, I mean ive always known i found him attractive and funny.. i guess ive always had more or less of a crush on him, but now its serious..its all i think about. wherever i am. I mean im turning down fun stuff, like going to the movies, or playing basketball with the hottest guy at school, because id rather lay in my bed and think about him, does that sound weird? im freakin obsessed! and i dont even know how he feels about me.. well, thats a lie.. i know he kind of likes me, but he said he wants his ex back. he's so amazing! everytime i hear the words incredible, romantic, wonderful.. etc, i think of him! just because of a word! EVERY song i hear is not related to him. I've seriously found a way to make EVERYTHING in my life about this boy (i kid you not, EVERYTHING!) its like my whole life revolves around him, what should i do? please help me!

Oh my goodness, lol. I would seriously not sit there and revolve your life around him, I think it's a waste. And we only have one life to live, so we gotta make it good. I would still talk to him and everything, but if you know he likes you a little, I would let him know how you feel. Well, don't explain it to him like THAT, you might freak him out a bit haha, but just be like,"I know you still really like your ex and everything, but I really like you and all, and I think [ know ] you sort of like me a little bit, and I'd really like a chance to make that "sort of" more than "sort of". [ or something like that basically, let him know of your feelings. ] But if he's still hung over about his ex, I'd seriously move on, hang out with your friends, enjoy your life, and try and find another guy. Well, I really don't think it matters what colors your hangers are, because nobodys really looking at them and their only purpose in life is to hang clothes, not look pretty. But anyways, I'm not here to being negative or anything, I would paint like, 10 blue, 10 green, 10 orange, etc. so then whenever you go to hang up your clothes you can color-coridinate with them so then it looks much more organized, and then everythings easier to find.
