About a month ago, I got asked to go to a concert. Well, this guy's mother asked my mom if I wanted to go and bring a friend. Our parents are like best friends, so that's why he didn't ask me in person. And I have no problem with that. So I invited a friend to go with me. We had a really good time. My friend and I were the only two girls there. All the guys that were there were really nice to us. There were seven of them. He picked us up and brought us home too. He was really nice to us. Anyways, the guy that we went with- I don't like him as a crush, but we're friends. He has a girlfriend, but it wasn't at the time of the concert. I was just wondering what that means. Like, are we just friends, or more. I think that we're just friends, but what are some other opinions.
P.S. I've been over to his house a lot to swim, he's been over to mine for lots of stuff too. But our parents are really good friends and so are our sisters. (link)

I have lost so many important and special people in my life that now I don't know who to trust anymore. I am getting really close to someone (everyone I get close to is an adult) and I am afraid of getting hurt by her like everyone else I get close to. I have told her this and she says that shes not like the other people, but how do I know. I really like this boy and he says that he really likes me, however he has a girlfriend and doesn't want to hurt her by dumping her. He is always with me and he tells me that he cares and wants to be with me, but I don't want to get hurt. It hurts me enough to know that he has a girlfriend, I have never loved like this before. he has a gf, you don't kiss a guy who is in a relationship! he says he likes you but is it really true or is he just getting bored with his gf? if he really wanted you all that badly he would have broken up with his gf already. so to me he is just making up an excuse and he's basically being a player. i say forget this guy and go seek out another one becasue this guy has you playing games and you don't deserve to be put down to his level. forget the guy and move on, i know it's hard but you need to he isn't worth all the hurt and pain!

When I was 8, my grandfather died of cancer. It is now 6 years later and I still am extreamly upset about it. I was very close to my grandpa, I always remember him joking around with me. He'd always tap me on the head when I wasn't looking and then I'd turn around and he'd be looking around pretty much making it obvious that he did it. He'd always give me money even if I didn't ask for it and he was just a very happy grandpa. The night I found out he died, I was devistated. I was in my room listening to music and I heard the phone ring but didn't think much of it. My mom called me and my brother into her room and she told us to sit down. She looked a bit shakey but I still didn't think much of it. She held my hand and looked at me and said Papa (that's what we called him) just passed a way. And I looked at her in disbelief. I was in too much shock to even cry. Once I started crying I coudln't stop. I fell asleep crying, I woke up crying and I cried for the next 4 days straight. This happened six years ago and I'm still upset about it. Everytime I go to my grandma's house and I see his pictures I cry. Can anyone help me? It's been 6 years and I'm still not over his death. i'm sorry! i lost my grandfather to cancer when i was 12! it was tough on me and it still is. it takes awhile to get over deaths but you must remember that your "Papa" is in a better place where he isn't in pain. it takes a short time for some people to get over the loss and for others it takes a long time. it's okay to cry, i sumtimes cry too because i think oh there's another christmas where he sin't going to be here but then i think to myself he's looking down and he's watching all the time! you said you were close to your "Papa" well it is going to take a while for you and don't worry about not getting over it you will be fine. It's just taking longer for you to get over him. I hope all is well and i hope you enjoy your holidays!

hey I am always compared to my older sister. When I get like even a B in school my mom says " You can do better because lisa does" (Lisa is not her name i just didn't want to write her real name) When i don't do a homework assigned ment my parents say lisa always doea her homework. Lisa is on the honor role, never gets less then an A on her report card, is on the soccer team, tennis team, and yearbook committee, she never smokes, never drinks, she has never gotten in trouble once, she doesn't curse, she is the perfect angle and my mom always says I need to be more like lisa. I HATE IT got any advice for me??? I need help

i'm in the same situation but i'm the older sister and my younger sister is gettin' all the credit! your mom is just saying that not to have you two compete against one another but to make you stride to work harder and be more successful in your life! she only wants the best for you even if it does seem like she likes "lisa" more! just do your best and do what you can and you will make your mother proud no matter what! good luck!

i am currently going throught the same situation! most guys say they aren't ready for a relationship either because they are busy or because they don't like you! but in this case he likes you so he might just be busy and have a lot of stuff going on in his life right now that he needs to figure out. and men figure a gf isn't going to help in these situations so they hold off! if you honestly like him wait for him until he comes around!

okay theres this guy that likes me.. and i used to like him. I sit with him evryday at lunch. Hes so controlling. I cant stand it anymore. All my friends say i should ask him out or he should ask me but i cant stand him anymore.!! Seriously. He really bugs me!! i turn my cell phone off just so i dont have to talk to him at night. He asks whats wrong with my phone, i tell him i couldnt talk anyways or that my older sister was using my phone and it went dead. That was true Wednesday Night tho. this boy seems obessive and seems like he reallys likes you! well my suggest is to take him somewhere quiet and talk to him face to face and tell him what oyu need to say! "Listen I don't think we should be friends anymore!" you can just end it there and if he says "Why?" Just say "Just Because .." be nice but don't be to soft when u talk to him let him know you mean business!!

well first off (( how rude )). you dumped him because your friends didn't like him?! 2 bad if they did that was not a good excuse to break up with a guy. they may have been jealous of you havin' a bf and that's probably y they didn't like him. anywho you should get him back and tell him you made a stupid mistake and that you went with what other people said and that you didn't think for yourself! as for these "friends" of yours i would tell them to back off and mind their own business and worry about their own love lifes. unless this x bf of yours hurts them or makes them feel uncomfortable. i don't see y they won't except him. good luck!
