Hi, I have the VS Sassoon hair straightener with a gold plate on it. When I do straighten my hair, it just smells soo bad right after, like my hair is burned. (I straighten my hair after a get out of the shower and blow dry it, so its clean) My hair is completely dry when I streighten it. If i buy a CERAMIC hair straigthener, will that make a difference in the smell? Are they expensive - if you have one, please say if you would reccommend it. THanks!

Your hair may be burnt. Metal straighteners are about the worst thing you could do 2 your hair. I have the ceramic wet 2 straight and it works wonders!!

My friend nd i want 2 help the people that were effected by tha hurricane. we want to make crafts or something so it will be easy for us (we are good at crafts) but something that the people would need. I was thinking maybe soap and a soap holder or a toothbrush and toothbrush holder that we could decorate the holders and stuff but that sounds kind of lame. Any crafty ideas? Thank u!

The legal age of consent in most states is at least 16, so if your parents (or his) wanted to, either you or your parter could be arrested and charged for statuatory rape. If this is someone that you would not feel guilty about losing your virginity to, then folow your heart, son't let anyone make that decision for you. Be prepared for the risks of sex though. If you got hiv, another std or became pregnant, how would you deal? Many guys dump girls after sex, so be careful. The best of luck to you.

I'm a chickadee, but there are people at my school who aren't a size 0 or aren't as pretty as the prettiest, and they all have boyfirends(or have had recent boyfirends), but if you are as shallow as you sound in your question, suggesting a 1 night stand, then you might get some shallow guy.

Unfortunately, personality today only gets a girl so far. So, it depends on the guy, and there is no hard and fast rule.

I was thinking about getting bangs cut into my hair. It's extra long- it reaches my butt, and I have a round shaped face. I was wondering if getting bangs cut in would look good, or if they would just shrink my face more...Also, if I get bangs cut in, what kind? when you make a Promo do you have to have to be signed to a label? cos I wanted to make a Promo from a song but I don't have a label, so I could just sell it to afew people, & then make a singel from that song & then release a full length album with that song on it

so what I'm asking, is that do you have to have a record deal to make an Promo, & if you don't, will they put it on your Promo when you get it & then sell it to stores?

& what is the diffrence between a Promo & a Singel? I know they can't be the same cos on the inside of my singles or promos they say what it is (its the same lable & artist, Sarah McLachlan), & I know Promos can't be pre-record deals cos there are promos for songs made in the middle of a career

It's a demo, not promo. A demo is what record label executives usse to see if you are the band/singer that they are looking for to represent. A single is one song off of your albom that lets the general public hear you, your sound, and hopefully buy the album. If you don't use a record label from the start, they most likely will not hire you, so do it with a record label all the way!

I have never had my nails done professionally. But i wanna go like tomorrow and get them done before school starts because i figured it would take me a day or so to get used to them..so im giving myself until thursday...day classes start. Yeah...so on average, how much does it cost to get acrylics...with like the white tips or whatever. And can u get like different colored tips? im guessing thats extra and all..but yeah. thanks in advance and i will rate all answers :)

It depends on where you live, and what salon you go to; In Los Angeles, a really good salon will run you upwards of $36, and yes, you can get colored tips, but they look funky. Acrylics are hard to get used to, by the way.

A few years back I had this friend who was really nice. But then after a while she started acting strange. If she saw me talking with another person she'd get all mad and butt in and tell them I was her best friend, and her only best friend. And then she started getting weird and always wanted me over, and if I couldn't come she'd start yelling at my Mom.

So my Mom made me break off the friendship with her in fear of my own health. I did. And she was devistated at the time, but when I changed schools and moved across town, I stopped hearing from her.

But now, three years later, she's sending me threatening mail, she's calling my house, and she won't stop IMing me on different accounts after I block her. I'm pretty creeped out, and I would go to the police, but she hasn't said anything too threatening. She's just calling me bad names and all that.

I really, really want her to stop. What should I do?

Wow. It's really sad that American teens have thi misconception of popularity. Among my class (freshmen), I would definitely say that I am popular, but there aren't usually rumors about me, and I have soooo many friends. I can walk up to so many people and just sit down and talk or eat lunch or whatever. Just don't do anything to attract attention, and you can become unpopular.erosnally, I love people knowing my name.
