hurricane katrina ideas?
My friend nd i want 2 help the people that were effected by tha hurricane. we want to make crafts or something so it will be easy for us (we are good at crafts) but something that the people would need. I was thinking maybe soap and a soap holder or a toothbrush and toothbrush holder that we could decorate the holders and stuff but that sounds kind of lame. Any crafty ideas? Thank u!

These people who were affected by Hurricane Katrina need love and support. Make cards to show your support and let them know that they can pull through this and that you are praying for them. They need nothing materialistic.

I think soap is a great idea!! and shampoo!! i can't really think of crafts but you can make a leamond aid stand. Well i just thought of some things if your' good at sewing you can make blanekts and pillows and outfits for little kids or even make some dolls for them! And if you don't like any of those ideas you could go to a micheals or a craft store and walk around and look to see if anything jumps out at you or ask someone there because they prolly know alot of crafts you could do!

i think those are GREAT ideas. you should have a number of things to sell to help. you could make braclets and sell them. or give face paintings at the mall for little kids. thats another idea.

Hmm...crafts. Can you crochet and stuff like that? You could make people clothes or blankets. You could also make baskets and cups and bowls. It can be creative and pretty, but at the same time you can put stuff inside that will be useful (like food, comfort books, water, clothes, toothbrushes, nice letters, essentials, etc).
