Okay so I was on paint playing around with a picture. But then I closed it and accidently hit "yes" to save it! Ahh! How do I get it back to the original one? :( There has to be a way.. & i know there is one, so don't say it isn't possible. I don't have any money to spend on any recovery tools though, and I don't know if they would work because technically I didn't delete the picture. But please help me! :(
There isn't any way to recover any file that has been overwritten. If you don't have a backup, it's permanently gone, not even expensive recovery tools will get it back. Sorry.

Thanks for your advice. The problem is I don't know how to take the DVD I have and make it into video I can upload. I need those instructions as I'm clueless. Btw, I'm using an IMAC if that makes any difference.

Ok I'm super confused so maybe someone can explain this to me! Let's say a boy is 17 and in your state the law is a 17+ person can't date a minor then can he have a 15 year old girlfriend? Because I was reading that there are laws that when your like 17 and up you can't date minors but what about teens around the same age with only a couple years difference? Hey everyone, I love music and am constantly downloading songs to my iPod. Unfortunately, Limewire, the downloading site I usually use, is ILLEGAL. I know many people use this site, but I don't want to get in trouble with anyone and want to do the right thing. Since I listen to so much music, iTunes is very expensive!

i have a dell laptop and its kinda new.. my hard drive on the laptop is not working properly and it has no space on it at all, i think theyre may be a virus on it. but i was wondering if i bought a compatible hard disc drive would that be able to fix the problem? would it then be like new?
That would fix it, but it's unnecessary. You can completely blank/format/reinstall your hard drive, which has the same effect, but for free. You haven't rated very many of your answers, so I'm not going to make a huge guide here. IM me for specific instructions or help on fixing your hard drive without deleting everything.

In the U.S. I know you have to be 18 to buy tickets to see a rated R movie, but at a place like walmart do you have to be 18 to buy a rated R movie?
Ratings are completely advisory and optional. The government has nothing to do with them, and it's not illegal to sell or purchase them if you're under the age recommendation.
I think it's walmart's policy to enforce the age recommendations. Certain employees might not follow the policy. If you can't get it at walmart, you will be able to online or at other stores.

What if someone wants to track you down and where you live, can people even do that on a computer?
It's incredibly easy if you have any two of these, or you have contact info for someone who does:
-IP address
-Picture
-Last name (first name helps)
-parent's name
-school name
-city (sometimes state)
-Age (especially birthday)
-Credit card #
-Username and Password to any online account (especially email)
So if I wanted to find out where you lived and only had your myspace profile, I would first add you as a friend if your profile wasn't public. Then I would probably be able to get your first name, and possibly last name. Knowing this, I can IM you and pretend I know you. I can probably get your school name, city, age, IP address, and maybe your parent's name and a picture using this. If I can't get the required info from you, I would talk to your myspace friends, claiming I know you(a name is usually all that's required for people to believe this). Some of them are bound to know. And if that fails I can make a phishing website, which nearly always works. Almost everyone uses the same password for everything, so I've now got access to your email, including address book.
99% of the time I'll be able to get at least 2 of the things I listed above. Parent's name and state is easiest, use zabasearch.com to find the address and you're done. IP and last name is the next easiest, IP address points to city(usually), and you can use a local phone book to narrow it down to a few people. School name+parents name+your name is the next easiest, as you can pretend to be their parent and get some information. Etc.
You can protect yourself by:
-Hiding your IP: http://tor.eff.org
-NEVER putting pictures online
-Making sure you're unlisted in the phone book
-Not annoying people too much
-Not giving information to strangers
But seriously, if someone wants to find you, they will.

I have Windows Movie Maker & I would like to make a music video. The problem is, that I don't have a 'Codec' for it. Here's the message:
"cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again."
So anyway I had it take me to the site and I was very unsure which Codec to get for it. I'm pretty great with computers but I'm honestly very unsure of this Codec problem.

If you don't do very much with videos, download the CCCP:

That includes some basic codecs, and will probably fix your problem.
If you want more codecs than what the CCCP includes, you can get nearly every codec in existence from the k-lite codec pack (download full and choose "lots of stuff" in the installation):

Don't install both the CCCP and the k-lite codec pack. That will break things.

Ok I have a 30 GB Video IPod and I am trying to download a video to it which I can but the problem I am not getting sound I have a regular file then I convert it so I can put it on the Ipod and I wait till it completes and then I put it on the Ipod and then I get no sound but I can get sound from the regular file but not the converted one just to let you know I am converting using iTunes 7 will someone please help me on how to get the sound

My friend sent me a birthday card but I am having trouble opening it. It says it is a WPS file. I'm not too sure what this means. And I can't seem to open it. You should advise your friend to use the OpenDocument format instead of proprietary formats like WPS. OpenDocument will never change; in 20 years you'll be able to open all of your old documents. As you can see with your troubles, proprietary formats are replaced every few years. The first two of these will open a WPS file, and all of them can save in ODF:
