Q: i've had this cough for about a month long. at the beginning it was from a severe cold or something. but i've been around my sister a lot who smokes and i have asthma. could it be from second hand smoke getting into me? any ideas? i rate *HiGH*

it could be lots of stuff! second hand smoke could be it.. but i don't think thats all that likely for being the main source of the problem..do u hang out with any friends or gf/bf that could be sick? ur allergies could also be kicking in..

Q: well im really good friends with this guy and i like him a lot because were so close and similar and i think we both like eachother and we talk about everything but he always asks out other girl who turn him down, doesnt he know that im righ tin front of him and were perfect for eachother how can i help him see that?

he probably thinks u don't like him ...........tell him if he doesn't do anything then he doesn't like you. or heck next time yall are together ask him jokingly to go out with you.. then be like im serious tho, would you?........it works

Q: i ben playin soccer for 5 years now....im okay...i should be better i want to be better....i just get nervous when i have the ball and i lyke kick it anywhere and i dont have very good ball control....is there ne 1 who plays soccer who kan give me a few tips or excersizes 2 do?? i have practice everyday (i amde the skool team) for 2 hrs...so we do practice ALOT but the season is starting in about 3wks and i wanna get beter...thx

the best way to get ball control and good aim is to kick the ball for 20 minutes or so everyday off your garage or the side of your house, back and forth. try trapping and and kicking it again, its better then dragging a friend or family member outside for target practice.. sounds crazy but you'll get good control and power.

Q: ok so,i play like every sport there is except rugby and football...cuz im a girl...all my friends say that im amazimg cuz when i get home from school iu do my homework get online then sports the rest of the night..but sometimes i goto basketball then to soccer then to lacrosse then to swimming. everyone says that i should quiet mayb 3 sports and only havge like 3 sports to do...should i quit? but i always have time for them...i rate REALLY high..*but it has to be good please!)

oh dear, if your loving it and can do it all without stressing out, there's no need to quit! your young and opportunities like this later in life don't come along so much. think of all those kids out there in hospitals looking out a window with their sad little faces b/c they can't run or play anymore.. their stuck in a wheelchair!..play for them and show them what ur working with.. hot stuff

Q: umm after im finished playin basketball or volleyball, im usually sweating a lot. my face also is very red after practice. is there any way that i can keep my face from being so red? o ya and im 13/f.

im sorry hunny there is no way to get rid of the red.
when the blood surfaces to your skin, thats the red complexion, to get rid of that you'd have to get rid of blood!

try cooling ur face right after with lots of cool water and slow ur heart rate down

Q: I'm a moderately happy person. I'm in love, I have really supportive friends, and I have great artistic outlets for my emotions, but for some reason I keep having these reoccurring thoughts of suicide. Every time I sit by my window I think of diving headfirst into the driveway three stories below. I don't know what to think of it. Is this normal?

well the thoughts are normal yes, but don't do it!

Q: i'm thinking about dying my hair...
i have pretty pale skin, light brownish/blonde...it's VERY VERY dull looking hair, and brown eyes.
first of all, what color do u suggest i get to flatter myself..

darker brown would look sexy, and some thin layering around the face

Q: if you can't get out of the house what are some really good cardio exercises you can do for 30 minutes? is investing in an exercise video a good idea? if soo..which ones?

there are lots of things you can do indoors, jump-roping is EXCELLENT FOR YOUR BOD..
crunches in front of televisions always work for me
video tapes are good ideas too, they are inexpensive and very effective after no time at all.
just find the kinds you like,
for me the kickboxing video tapes are superb and fun..

Q: I have this friend(a guy)who i really like...yesterday he came over to hang out wth me and my other friend...me and him wrestled for like an hour and he kept hugging me...he also held my hand but we were playin around so after a second of owkward silence he pushed me and we started playin mercy...im not sure if he likes me or not...Please Help!

Q: I am going through a break up because my boyfriend just wants to give up on our relationship all of a sudden. Now this is a big deal because a child is involved. We have worked through everything for years and now all of a sudden when we have a family started he wants to run and give up? I am extremely hurt and I wish I could just be calm and move on with my life and say well, he's just stupid. But I am so angry and I just want to scream at him so bad but I know that could make things worse. How do I be a calm, cool, and collected person so that there is a chance that he may want to work through this? I don't want to be that angry girl with sarcastic comments comming out of my mouth every five minutes...it's really hard to control guys, I am so mad at him for giving up at the worst time. I wish I could do something as simple as smack some sense into him, but I know I can't. He doesn't understand that he's messing up a chance for our child to create family childhood memories and everything. How should I be throughout all of this? I really need advice I am so lost, I have crazy mixed emotions and my anger is so huge. Please please please help!! We can't afford couples counseling either. thanks.

tell him your heart and if he doesn't listen than there is nothign else you can do but stock him..and thats not a good answer. remain calm, breath, you can make it thru this. God never gives you more than you can handle and has ALOT in store for you..sometimes the anticipation of what it is that is in store for yourself is overwelming. give it a try. give it 2 tries if nescessary. past that, if he doesn't want to be a real father then find him a new one honestly, thats better than him. don't let your child be fatherless (take it from me) a life without a dad is like a life without spirit...good luck hun

Q: When I have my period I break out and get HUGE pores and blackouts on my face. Every single thing that I use to try to get my face clear NEVER works! I've trie some thing with acid in it to Dove and world-known stuff but it never works. And then I see the guy I like at school and I'm so embarrassed because of my face!

i don't know what the question is, but yse during your pd its really hard to get rid of that acne (its almost a diff. kind of acne)..just try some foundation or powder and wow them with a glowing smile and bright eyes. demand attention thru something other than the skin on your face. good luck!

Q: I've been using the crest whitestrips for about 2 days now and I was wondering if you like swallow does the bleach come off? and I don't know if I have swallowed most of the bleach, because everytime there was saliva in my mouth I'd lick my teeth and swallow. Also, what happens if you DO swallow the bleach on accident?

bleach can only hurt you in larger amounts than that.. so i wouldn't worry to much. if u feel that you've sucked all the bleach off, try another strip!

Q: I have a problem: I am a lonely introvert, and I try to get out and make friends. But my problems is that most people only want to talk about superficial things such as house, car, kids, job, and shopping. While I know those are what most people care about, these topics bore me to death. I like deeper conversations about philosophy or literature. I don't mean to be conceited, but it's hard to find smart people to talk to. Why can't I find anyone on my level? Should I dumb myself down to fit in? Any comments are appreiciated. Thank you!

no, youd probably rather be breakfast than dumb yourself down to something that is as good as dirt to you. these people that you talk to that always seem to speak of superficial things...well you'd be surprised, they probably have deeper things in their heads than that. most people really do, they're just to lazy to bring it out or scared to have their opinions on things squashed. put yourself out there a bit and your absract thinking. try your theories on your boring friends, who knows you could be surprised what you didn't think they knew.
