most moms are happy to hear their little girl started their period. kept in mind she gets a period too. just calmly go to her and tell her. don't do what i did when i started my period, i started flipping out and crying (lol).

I have high BP also. First off, lower your red meat intake and NO pork it is so horrible for people. Also cheese is a no no. drinking a lot of water helps and some would say excercise though I would not bet my life on it the scince behind that is if you excercise and get skinny your BP would be better. If your BP gets too out of hand then you doctor may put you on pills. It is not the end of the world if they do. Try my tips and I hope you get your BP under control. -Adrie

Well, if you are proven to be an unfit mom then yes the baby may be taken away. However, u have obviously done nothing wrong yet unless you are not seekin prenatal care. That is of the most importance is the health of the baby. Make sure the father knows you are pregnant it is not fair for you to do all of the work when it takes 2 to make a baby. I hope your pregnancy goes well.

im not happy with my weight. i used to have like the perfect body. or at least thats what i remember then i got into high school. high school sucks that way. anyway i used to weigh about 120 and now i weigh 130.. im wanting to lose 10 or more pounds but the thing is i cant seem to stay away from all those bad foods. my school is like junk food heaven. i try leaving my lunch money at home but it doesnt always work because i have friends i can ask for money. anyway i also have lots of junk food at home and if i dont i seem to find some. or even ill go crazy on the health stuff. i can go on a diet for like 3 days at most and then i just break it. i dont know if theres any key to resisting junk food... i dont know im hoping someone has some ideas? I have an algebra mid-term tomorrow. Oh and by the way, i'm only in 8th grade. I've got to study here in a little bit, but i don't really know how to go about studying. like what do i do so i can get a good grade? do you have any websites tht have practice tests? we've gone through 4 chapters. Its all with equations and crap. SO if you have any advice on studying, i'd really really appreciate it!

Look over past problems and try some out of the textbook. Do you live in VA? If so the mid-term is really easy.

My math 10 teacher has been acting really strange around me. He came up to me the other day and said "my wife's maiden name is the same as yours". He also said I reminded him of his wife when she was younger, and said it in a kind of romantic (yuck) way. Another time he caught me and my friend writing notes, and then he came up to me, tried to read the note, and then said "oh it's a love letter to me". Another girl heard and thought he was joking, because she said "I highly doupt that sir". But I know he was being serious. I always catch him staring at me. One day he heard me say the F word. He told me to stay behind after class. Instead of giving me crap, he said "I'm really suprised at you, but I'm just going to give you a warning". He was talking seductively. I know he was enjoying having me all alone.
It feels really gross and wrong of him. I am only 15. He's like old enough to be my father. What should I do, and is he being inappropriate or am i overreacting? (link)

Inconspiciously tell someone probably everyone of the faculty members untill some listens to you. Demand to be transfered out of the class if he makes you feel that uncomfortable.

In a nutshell, I hate my stepdad. Well, HATE is a strong word, so let's just say I highly dislike him.
My mother met him about 5 years ago, and they got married a year later. He was nice to me and my sister during their courtship, but since he married my mom he's turned into an ass. Well he's really mean to me and my sister. Neither of us has a bf so he says to our faces that were lesbians. When I had my 25th birthday he told me in front of my mother that I must be a dyke because all of his daughters were married by my age. He always compares us to his daughters who are all married.
My sister has a weight problem and he calls her fat and a slug. He convinced my mother to kick her out of the house while she was still in college. My sister is a good person, she's quiet and studies to get good grades but he tells my mom that she deserves to be kicked out on the street. I think he wants my mom all to himself. He even told me once that he was "sick of me always coming around". I live in another town and maybe visit my mom once every two weeks, so I don't know what he's talking about. On Xmas day when I went to visit them I even heard him yelling at my mom! He was calling her a "stubborn woman" because she asked him to help cut up the turkey. Every one else can see this guys a jerk except for my mother.What can I do? I've already told my mom that she shouldnt have married him but she's in love with him and doesnt want to listen.

Clean everyday especially if you are going through puberty. Go to a dermatologist if u can afford it, someone actually know what they are doing.

There's this huge show next month at school, and I volunteered to sing Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel". I know I can do it, I'm already halfway there perfecting it, but I need some tips. ok well i'm on birth control. On Friday night of last week Jan. 6th i had sex. that was a week before my period was supposed to start. well on saturday i forgot to take my pill and didn't remember till late on sunday and by then i had started bleeding although it didn't seem menstrual. and then on Saturday night of this week, the 14th, i had sex again. now on the 13th the bleeding had stopped and i was on my pills again. well i had sex on the 14th and today, the 16th, the bleeding has started again. i'm not sure whether this is my period or the last one was or if i'm having two. Is it possible i could be pregnant or is the bleeding just normal after you have sex with a guy for a long period of time? (link)

If you are new to the sex thing you could be bleeding because his "ummm" is you know going in there. Do you have pain during intercourse? No you can't be preganat, you are bleeding!

Hey 16-m. I'm terrible at keeping to a schedule and managing my time. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could try to manage my time better? I usually have things to do after school, and by the time I get home I have just enough homework to keep me going late into the night. After I look back on the day, I spot out about half an hour at the least I could have saved if I did things differently. Any ideas? ...I used to have a tan line on my wrist from my watch, which might explain why I've been bad at this lately [would getting a new one help?] Will rate - thanks a lot. (link)

Get an organizer electronic or write on some paper. Get a little notebook with dates and write down what u have to doa each day and the time frame for each.

wenesday i have my spanish exam.
right now im doing horrible in that class and praying this exam helps me out.
i need more ways to help me get all these words into my head.
i made flashcards and i study them and theres ones i dont have any idea.
i Have extreme short term memory loss. so nothing sticks to my memory over maybe 30 min. I need something i can study for tomorrow then cram a little 30 min before the exam so some sticks.
sorry its confusing.

I am in spanish 1 also! Look spanish is pretty easy most of the words are cognats (they sound like english words). Review all of the material and make up something stupid for it like galleta for cookie, gulutonous.

Okay welll... 13/f and i am getting a white discharge in my underwear and it does not smell good at all. I have started my period so its nothing like that i mean it might involve it but its not warning me or anything. Never have been sexually active either so i dont know how to clean better down there and have tht stuff stop coming out. also. how are you and what are u supposed to be cleaning with down in tht region?Does it help to shave?

The discharge should stop a bit after your period stops. It is risky shaving there because if you accidently cut it has a very good chance of getting infected because it is down there. Most discharge will not smell good at all, that is normal. Use soap and warm water to clean down there and inbetween baths just use baby wipes.

Yes you can refuse it, however when you become sexually active you should start getting them ust to be safe.
