feminine bleeding

Question Posted Monday January 16 2006, 11:34 pm

ok well i'm on birth control. On Friday night of last week Jan. 6th i had sex. that was a week before my period was supposed to start. well on saturday i forgot to take my pill and didn't remember till late on sunday and by then i had started bleeding although it didn't seem menstrual. and then on Saturday night of this week, the 14th, i had sex again. now on the 13th the bleeding had stopped and i was on my pills again. well i had sex on the 14th and today, the 16th, the bleeding has started again. i'm not sure whether this is my period or the last one was or if i'm having two. Is it possible i could be pregnant or is the bleeding just normal after you have sex with a guy for a long period of time?

When you have your period the lining of your uterus is coming off thats what makes you bleed if you were pregnnat there would be no bleeding the fertizlized embroy would have already be attached to your uterus. when you miss taking a pill your period sometimes gets screwed up, any way it will get regulated after a while dont worry, and continue with your pill.

ok, your bleeding because your not taking your pills right, which causes spotting and messed up periods.you must take birth control pills everyday around the same time. your pack should have instructions for what to do when you miss them. if youve been taking them right for more than 3 months, an you only missed that one pill, friday night, chances are your not pregnant, however, im confused by the part where you said you were on your pills again, you cant go on an off your pills, unless you want to get pregnant. put your pills where you will see them around the same time everyday. take them correctly an make it your religion not to miss anymore, if this happens often and you have a hard time remebering them, there are alternatives, such as the shot. if you need to talk to your healthcare provider about your other birth control options.also, i hope your using a condom, as a back up, because birth control pills dont protect you from hiv, and stds.
