My mom broke up with my dad 9 years ago, and has been living with my stepdad since. I was on her computer, and found that she has been flirting with a guy from Texas (thousands of miles away), and they are planning on meeting in Seattle this weekend.

She hasn't told anyone about it, like me, my stepdad, ect. She said she was going to Seattle for a "craft get-together".

Should I be really upset, storm out, and demand to live with my dad? Or be happy for her that she is happy...and having an affair. I guess I'm still in shock.

I'm a 16 year old girl, and I'm not sure how to react. It was probably wrong to look on her computer, but I just had a hunch.

You should be mad, but I think you should talk to your mom and have her explain what she's doing. Don't tell your stepdad, since it's really none of your buisness, but make sure your mom talks to him, since it's only fair that he knows what's going on.

Try to find out stuff that both of you have in common and talk to him about that stuff. Otherwise, just talk about school, sports, celebrities(which can always be funny, or yourself.

Write it down in a notebook and get all your teachers to check it.(and sign it) It worked for my friend and I hope it does for you.

Sure, why not? They're teachers, they can do anything.(haha!) But honestly, yeah, they could lower your grade b/c you weren't prepared for class and that's being "irresponsible."

Hair down there is good b/c it protcets from bacteria and stuff. But if you want to shave it off use a new razor and A LOT of shaving cream.

i'm 14 and i think about sex kind of a lot because this one guy that i really really like wants to have sex w/ me but i don't really want to but then again i look at some of my friends that are 14 and they've lost their virginity already but i don't really want to have sex w/ this one guy but then i do..i'm confused and i don't know if i'm totally out of my mind for thinking about this but i don't want to have sex w/ him but then i do..is it bad to even think about it when i'm 14?

If you have sex, do it b/c you want to not b/c of peer pressure. I think you are too young, but do what you want, but make sure you're ready b/c once you've done it, you might think you made a mistake.

I'm really scared. I will soon have to have 2 teeth pulled! I was wondering how much it hurts, can you feel them actually pulling the teeth out, and how long it takes for it to stop hurting after you get them pulled. Please help! I'm really scared!!! I rate 5's by the way.

If they are already loose, then it won't hurt. If it's like your wisdom teeth, it will probably hurt for a week or two. That's what happened to my sister. You can't really feel though if they numb it right.

There are many different denominations of Christianity. (like Lutheran, Baptist, etc.) Catholicism is a denomination of Christianity. Catholicism is different from other Christian religions b/c of who is worshiped and some of the sacraments.

I think you should wait for a while, b/c he was with Gina for a long time and he might not be completely over her yet. Wait for a few weeks, then ask him out.

I have been really sick since thursday and iam terrified of doctors. the probelm is that i get really high fevers and they dont come down . is there any medication that i could take that would not only bring my tempurature down along with getting better? (i have the flu)

You could try this thing called Airborne. It works for me. But since you have a high fever, you should go see the doctor anyways, b/c you could just get worse and that sucks.

Hey. I think you should talk to this guy about this b/c why are you going out if there's no affection. Tell him that you'd like him to be more affectionate, b/c when he's not, he's sorta ruining your relationship.

I want to stop biting my nails but I don't know how to. I've tried before and it never seems to work out. My mom tells me to sit on my hands but that doesn't work. I've tried chewing gum and yet I still bite them and my nails are too short to paint. I've even got my nails done before and when I take the fake nails off and my real ones are long they just break off. Any suggestions?

What my friend did was everytime someone saw her biting her nails, she would have to pay the person a quarter.

Across the street from me, an elderly couple sold their house and the people that bought it have two young boys, ages 4 and 7 I believe. They have asked me if I'd like to babysit for them and that's fine with me. I've babysat before but normally I'd do it free of charge. It's come the time where I'm getting older and I need to get money. I'll be driving in a year and my parents aren't going to be paying for my gas and car insurance. What would be a good amout of money to ask for? I don't want to be asking for too much. I'm 15/ female.

It depends on how many hours you will be baby-sitting,and where you live, but I say around $6.00/hr.

freshmans are 14.
sophmores-15
juniors-16
seniors-17

but it depends b/c they can make u start school late if ur birthday is after september 1.

For my science fair this year, me and my friends did a memory vs. gender quiz. Our question was do males or females have a better memory? we took 6 flash cards and wrote one color on each and then went to the mall and asked people if they wanted to take our test. (they had 2 seconds to look at each color and when we were done we wanted them to repeat all the colors we showed them.)

we got a 9 out of 10 from the judges
and our overall grade from my science teacher was a 98%. and we are eligible to go to the county science fair.
