Question Posted Saturday February 19 2005, 8:54 pm
I'm British and have no idea about the American schooling age.
Please can someone tell me how old juniors, sophomores, seniors and freshmen are so I can relate to some of the questions being asked. Thanks in advance.
Additional info, added Saturday February 19 2005, 9:48 pm: yourawsome2, I'm a woman for a start!! In England, a junior is 7-10, a senior is 11-16, a freshman is a college starter 16-18 and we don't use the word sophomore. Please find something stimulating to do! . softmore- usually 15 yrs old
juniors- 16 yrs old
seniors- 17 yrs old
then when you start college you begin the four year stage of freshman, softmore, junior, and senior again until you graduate college [ xObEaChbAbEoX's advice column | Ask xObEaChbAbEoX A Question ]

Karen answered Saturday February 19 2005, 9:07 pm: Well it depends if a student has stayed back or missed the cut off date. If you are a freshman, you are supposed to be 14 or 15; if you are a sophomore, you are supposed to be 15 or 16; if you are a junior, you are supposed to be 16 or 17; and if you are a senior, you are supposed to 17 or 18. Every school is different. Hope I helped :)
