Our question was do males or females have a better memory? we took 6 flash cards and wrote one color on each and then went to the mall and asked people if they wanted to take our test. (they had 2 seconds to look at each color and when we were done we wanted them to repeat all the colors we showed them.)
we got a 9 out of 10 from the judges
and our overall grade from my science teacher was a 98%. and we are eligible to go to the county science fair.

I chose how music affects your concentration and memory, in which subjects were to try and complete a memory game in two minutes time while listening to a certain type of music. (If you do that, make sure you take into account age, gender, etc. because it can have somewhat of an effect.)
Other project ideas I remember were how color affects memory, how different temperatures of water affect the mood of a lobster (you need lobsters for that one, though!), how cell phones affect concentration, etc. Try Yahooligans search engine or Ask Jeeves for more ideas. :) Hope this helped!
