I am a 26 year old male with a bit of a quandary over a girl. As it stands now, she and I are just friends, and have been for a few months. About a month ago she said that she wanted to be just friends, but since then I still have been getting mixed signals from her. I would love to be able to pursue a relationship with her, but I'm not sure bringing up the topic again would be a good idea. I do enjoy the friendship and don't want to screw that up, but I am torturing myself over the issue. What should I do?
telling her you have strong feelings for her may ruin your friendship, but you only live once. there is a chance that she likes you.read some of the flirting tips in the magazines she reads to see if she uses them. haha it sounds weird, but it seriously is a smart idea. also, hang out with her in a group and see how it goes. maybe she will pay more attention to you-more than friends-or maybe she will not-friends. I think if you dont tell her you will regret it when you are older and she is taken.

you have made a commitment and so has he. first keep in mind that people change. he may not have lost the things you fell in love with in him, he may be different than you remember. I would invite him to dinner with his family maybe and talk. After, if your connection is strong talk to him in private, then talk to your husband and be honest. you cant have an affair, as that will ruin both your happiness. keep in mind that he may not be in love with you anymore either, as hard as that is to believe, since you may have changed too. Just be careful and avoid sexual contact.

I recently got an Ipod touch and everytime I plug it in to my laptop, my computer keeps saying its a digital camera. I have the newest editon of itunes, the latest windows updates, windows xp, and I reinstalled itunes and it still doesn't work. The ipod still works on other people's computers. I asked almost everybody and nobody seems to have the answer. I NEED HELP!
the ipod touch does take pictures, which is why your computer registers it as a digital camera. that being said, it should still come up on itunes. since you have all the updates, i reccomend either going to the store, or, if there is no store nearby, emailing apple costumer service. also, you may need to just switch to another computer. at the apple store, they will sometimes switch the itunes data for free if you ask them to. hope i helped

So I don't obsess over being popular and everything, but I've begun to realize that I don't really have a social life.... Like I have sleepovers and go to the mall, but really only with my best friend. I do have a lot of friends, but we never hang out. I was on Facebook awhile ago and I was looking at this really popular girl's pictures, and a lot of pictures were of her at house parties and big sleepover parties. I realized the last time I went to a party was... well I think a birthday party when I was 12. That's really sad. So I'm not saying I want to be all popular and have tons of parties, but I would like to be with more friends and everything instead of sitting at home playing on the computer. Help please?
i think the best way to make good friends better is to just invite them somewhere first. maybe they are too shy to make the first move. maybe have a small party or go shopping but invite someone else in addition to your best friend. sometimes friendships just happen, but most of the time you have to start them or at least meet the other person half way. also, school dances are a good way to make friends. if you dont like clubs, that isnt the only way. common intrests help, but that isnt always the key. also, you can ask your best friend if she has some other close friends she could introduce to you or invite to hang out with you two. things may seem hopeless, but in a few months to a year you will see hopefully see your friendships have grown and be more content with your social life. hope i helped

So I have this weird problem where when I have to read something in class, I get really nervous. My voice shakes, and I have to swallow a lot, other wise my voice gets caught on saliva, and I even tremble a little. I know this is nothing really serious, but it bothers me, and I wish I didn't get so nervous, but I can't seem to stop it. This only started recently, maybe a month ago. Can someone help me?
i used to be really nervous when speaking too. then one day i realized that most kids arent listening to a word you say. and the few who are dont care how you sound or they will forget about you making a mistake by the next day. i think that fear of public speaking is fear of embarrasment, so just be confident and, unless it is on live tv, is anyone going to really remember it at all?

im on jv cheer and want to make varsity. i have my standing back handspring, roundoff back handspring, and roundoff 2 back handsprings. one morning at 6am practice i was way tired and threw my pass and went super crooked and fell, and separated my shoulder. that was about a month ago, so i havent tumbled since, and its finally healing where i can tumble soon.
i want to have my roundoff back handspring back tuck, and be working my roundoff tuck and possibly standing tuck by tryouts..which is the last week of march. so i've got a little over 2 months. im going to tumble once or twice a week until then.
however, i feel im gonna have to start all over with standing and roundoff bhs's because it has been so long, and i am still a bit scared :(
so knowing that, how possible is it to get any tumbling pass with a tuck in it by tryouts??? its not required, but it definitely helps.. even a roundoff bhs tuck would be fine with me!

depending on how your body is and how you train, it could go either way. Ultimately just try to learn as mucha s you can in the time you have. i would invest in a trainer since you were just injured, if you dont already have one. just dont push yourself, or it will most likely result in further injury.

okay, so i updated my iTunes to the latest one (8 or whatever), but anyway, whenever I try to open it now, windows installer comes up, and it tells me it's configuring iiTunes, and they're 9 seconds left, then 16 sec. left, then 1 minute! then, when it finally finishes, it tells me I have to restart my computer, and I do, but then the same exact thing happens!!! I've already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, and I also tried this thing where you go into your registry files, and the whole 'psat' thing, and obviously it didn't work either.

I would try, if possible, downloading an earlier version. Otherwise, maybe invest in one of those guys from the geek squad or someone who specailizes in computers. high school students sometimes do it for very low prices.

the exact weave length is almost impossible to find, but google a picture and see where each peice falls on her, then measure it on you. ei. if one falls just above her shoulder, measure just above your shoulder to. bring the picture to an expensive salon for best results.

alright well if any of you have seen the "fred" videos on youtube he obviously uses some sort of software for his voice to sound high and squeaky. i was wondering if you know of any free easy to use software i could download for that kind of thing?
If you have a mac computer, you can use the music editing software, garage band. I think on apple.com you can download it for non-mac computers also. It has a sound effect called helium and another called mouse, or something like that. I think it works great and its easy to use. You may also be able to add aditional effects if those two arent what you are looking for. I suggest trying it out at the apple store or with a friend first. To add videos you need to have them on imovie and make sure they are able to be shared, i think, which is fairly easy, especailly for computer-savvy people

Two friends and I will be going to New York this summer for about a month but I'm having some trouble finding a place to stay. This is kind of different, but there are festivals where you can pay or something to go in front of a crowd and see if you are possessed. I think thats kind of creepy, but interesting too. you should also google how to reach spirits with your ipod. i dont know if it works, but it was kind of fun when i tried it and it totally worked for me. just some ideas.

I have a 1Gb jumpdrive... It worked like a champ for over a year...
but...
I get this message: "The disk in drive G is not formatted. Format now?"
So, I click "Yes", format now...
And, what do-you-know: "The disk cannot be formatted"....
I've tryed to format about 10 times now!! On like 3 different computers!!

you have probably tried this already but maybe your doing something wrong, or you overlooked something. If it isnt very old or hasnt been damaged I am not sure. Just remember formatting clears the drive, so keep the files backed up on something like google documents, or a friends computer even.

I'm currently planning out my second tattoo, and I think I have everything figured out about it. It's a quote by my hero: "You want some art? Come and get it." I know what kind of script I want it written in, and how big I want it. I'm very picky about the art that goes on my body.
My only problem is, I don't know where to get it done! My first tattoo is really big, and covers the area between my shoulder blades on my back. And I don't want a tramp stamp. I'm thinking about the words spiraling around my wrist, but I'm not sure.
Hiding it isn't an issue, since one day I plan to get an entire sleeve done. I just need some idea of good places to get a quote tattooed. Thanks!
I think the wrist is a good idea, but having it around your upper arm would be kind of cool too. I would avoid the head personally. it depends how big it is.

I have an eating disorder and this year i've been trying new foods everyday, but only in moderation and i'm really anxious around food.
I'm trying to eat as healthy as possible since my body is really wrecked (let that be a warning to anyone striving to be skinny!), anyway i know your meant to eat at least 5 fruits a day and since drinking is easier for me to do i was wondering which fruit drinks will count towards one of my five.
Ribena have some fruit juices but i hate ribena as i find it makes me more thirsty.
We have Supermarkets own brand Orange Juice which i like but i don't think thats as healthy.
If you have any recomendations that would be really appreciated, thank you.
Really orange juice is the best. Pomagranate juice is also great, as is V8, though i dont know if they sell that in the UK. Any natural fruit juice should count towards one of the five a day. Check the labels to see if it is all natural, though it usually says that right on the front of the bottle. Apple cider is also really tasty. I think 8oz counts as 1 serving of fruit if its natural.

Well, I just got a new laptop and it's awesome but it doesn't have any slot for discs to go in because it's so small :( I really like the game Sims 2 but my old laptop is too slow to load it and my new one doesn't have a disc drive. So if anyone can tell me how to get Sims 2 by download I would LOVE you :) Thanks so much!

Downloading the sims2 onto your computer for free would be illegal and most likely have viruses, but you can actually download the game when you buy it on the website, i believe. With a computer that small, though, i think the game will be too complex and won't work well or not at all. The sims2 game is very high-tech and needs a good and fairly new computer to run.

So I have a class where every month we give gifts to another person anonymously. I'm very good friends with my secret pal and I want this month to be something really creative, like a couple months ago I made her a scavenger hunt and she went around the school looking for her gift. It's not necessarily the actual gift as it is the way I present it to her. Any help is appreciated! :]
the scavenger hunt was probably the best. you could do something like put it in a ton of boxes so she has to open one after another until she gets to the present in the smallest one. you could also put it somewhere she wouldnt expect to find it, but at school the only place is like their lunch box or something. im out of ideas. hope i helped.
