sound effects for videos

alright well if any of you have seen the "fred" videos on youtube he obviously uses some sort of software for his voice to sound high and squeaky. i was wondering if you know of any free easy to use software i could download for that kind of thing?

If you have a mac computer, you can use the music editing software, garage band. I think on apple.com you can download it for non-mac computers also. It has a sound effect called helium and another called mouse, or something like that. I think it works great and its easy to use. You may also be able to add aditional effects if those two arent what you are looking for. I suggest trying it out at the apple store or with a friend first. To add videos you need to have them on imovie and make sure they are able to be shared, i think, which is fairly easy, especailly for computer-savvy people
