All of the other girls I know are always just SO happy and smiling all the time no matter what, it's like nothing could ever upset them.
I, however, am always frowning and mad/depressed looking and I can't help it. I just never feel happy. I have never been truly happy and whenever I do smile it's fake unless I'm laughing at something.
And the happy little perky ones are the ones who attract the most boys. Isn't it true that men are attracted to happy women?
I want to know how to be all happy and perky and cheerful and pleasant all the time. I've tried thinking happy thoughts but it just doesn't work. I only think about things that make me pissed, because my life is filled with them, and things about myself that I hate (plenty of those too).

What kind of makeup can you wear for rigorous water activities (tubing, boating, waterslides, swimming laps, etc.) that won't rub off when you sort of wipe your eyes off with your hands after you come up from being underwater in a pool?

I've been with my boyfriend for quite awhile now. We have so much fun together & literally talk about anything. Recently, we both went through changes in our personal lives. I feel as if his feelings towards me have changed and that he just doesn't care. He still calls regularly & we hang out as much as possible. When I bring it up, he tells me that I'm crazy for thinking this! Am I being paranoid? If a guy suddenly doesn't love you anymore, does he come out & tell you or usually lead it on for awhile?
honestly, hate to say it, but he is probably leading it on! he seems like the type that wouldn't dump you because of a lil' bit of love connection lost. stay strong and if you still love him wait for it to dye down! but if you feel any weirdness drop it before he drops you! be totally in control of this problem and i'll know you'll do fine
One of my friends likes me but I like him better just as friend. give him a try! maybe if you go out with him, you will find out your true fealings abuot him! he aparently likes you, and maybe you will feal the same way! but if you don't, don't feal akward around him, because he is just a guy, actually a REALLY good friend, so don't ruin it
So I've known this guy for a long time, and he's liked me basically the whole time. But he's the sort of guy who will like about 5 girls at once so I've never thought much about it. Even though he's said he LOVES me.
Anyways, I guess I do sort of like him back and we do some harmless flirting but it nevers gets further than that, ya whatever.
Anyways my best friend knows him, and he used to be friends with her but hates her after we had a fight and he took my side. And today she was trying to sweet talk him and he said he felt disgusted. I asked her about it online and she said she didn't know how she felt, but then later admitted she likes him. She then sent me a chat log they had in Febuary and in it they said how much they loved each other.
She then said after that chat convo they only said short "ily" to each other until that stopped. And at the same time she was telling me how much she loves him he came online and was telling me how much he loves me. And I had to lie to her and say "Yeah I think he likes you" because this girl has had her heart shattered so many times.
How do I break the news to her?
hopefully this is a close friend so it will be easier to understand! if you confront him that you know maybe he will tell her, probably not though! so in that case, tell him that he messed up, he shoudl be the one breaking her heart again, not you! i know you want to get involved, but all you can do is be there for her! let her know about what happened, and apperently stop flirting with thsi gyus, so your frioend can get herself together! if you still are crusing on him after this sistutation, she should be okay with it, if she is a really good friends, and understands you! i hope everything gos good with your situation
This is long, I'm saying this now ..
Okay I met this boy, Ben.. its not that important but when we met we were sorta flirting but we only talked for like 5 minutes. so I told my friend to hook me up with him[as a joke/not really] and he goes Ben do you remember Melissa and Bens like yeah and my friends like do you wanna go out with her and Bens like well I dont know her that well && I dont like having a girlfriend and then my friend told him I just wanted to hook up[well texted him so I dont think he got it]
Well I IMed him, and well hes not too talkative, and he wasnt for awhile but then, we actually talked for a little bit about basketball and stuff.
On Friday my friend Lexi and I went to a festival, and when I first got there he went walking over towards us and then his friend said something so he went with them. Well my friend Lance is his neighbor so they're friends too, but I was getting boyfriends and dumping them? like fake ones ya know haha, but one told me he was cheating on me, so I went up to Lance[he was with ben] and said Lance your my new boyfriend! and Ben kinda just looked at me and said something to his friend and walked away, but Ben would keep walking real close to me, but not talk and then he'd look at me for a few seconds and walk away. So I finally went over to him when he was with my friend Lance and Zach. He starting making fun of my foot, cause I have really small feet. He goes "What size shoe is that? A 3?!" and I said "No, it's a 7 but its too big." Then there was this flamingo clawish thing, I'm not sure how to explain it, but he was being gay and grabbing guys balls with it, and then I told him to do it to this kid Tom and he was like No he'll get mad.. but I told him to just do it so he did and Tom sort of did get mad. Then this fight broke out and I went with Ben and Lance & Zach went somewhere else, and I asked Ben what happened and he said he didn't know, but he was going to get some girls with this thing[flamingo claw] so he went and starting grabbing girls butts. Then I was with some of my friends and[okay ben is right behind us] my friend jeff asks who do i like and then max starts yelling MELISSA LIKES BEN! and I was trying to convince him I didn't so I said I liked Timmy, and they let it go. Well right after that Ben came over and my friend Max was like Melissa you don't even have to get on your knee's cause your so short and Ben was dying laughing and was like oh thats a good one and I was talking about this bruise on my knee and Ben's like oh what were you doing?! and I just laughed and started talking about something else, then he asked if I was leaving with Lance cause they were and I said no and hes like oh okay peace.
I talked to him on AIM and I thought the conversation was pretty good, but I'm not so sure. I like him a lot, but I honestly don't think he likes me, well I think he might a little bit.. The reason I think this is because of my friends, they said if he didn't like you whenever he talked or walked by he would be with girls. Although whenever he wasn't looking at me he was with a lot of girls and they were all over him, but idk. What do you think?

all teenager girl can totally relate to your problem! you will TOTALLY get over ben, i know it seems hard but you will. tell him you like him! just be the flirting type! make it like your allready going out, then i knwo for sure you will be able to tell if he likes you! give him a longer hug then ussual, or when he does somthing good, give him a kiss on the cheek, make it OBVIOUS! and then you wait for him to ask YOU out! it seems ridiciolos but since you like him so much go for it. you mentioned ims alot, so at the end drop the "lylab" act and try hard not to be to obvious about the "i like timmy thin". if you tell ben's friends they might be able to hook you up with him! who knows?! its worth a shot!

at my school we have a time during lunch that when you finish, you can go outside. i hang out with a large group of my friends, but mostly with a mini-group of people. this group is called "jonathans posse". jonathan is mine and 3 other friends best friend. i love them dearly, but they act so bitchy to me. during lunch they'll be having a conversation while i sit there with them and if i say something, one will glare at me and tell me to mind my own business. these people are my best friends, remember. on the other hand, if one of us has a party, they'll act as nice and pleasant as like berries and cream. one friend actually semi-yelled at me that no one liked me and to go away, until jonathan stared at her and said "shes my friend." (awkward silence for like 30 sec.) i've become clingy to jon, but i still want to keep my friends for fear of losing everyone else with them. any one know how to earn my "friend's" respect?

it sounds to me that you allready have earned there respect, and aparently you either do somthing wrong to make them feel this way [probably not though] or they are doing something wrong to make you feal this way. you shoudn't feel the need to get your "friends" respect if you didn't do anything wrong! if they are your true friends you shuold already have their respect! the nextr time you see "that group" act normal. act as if you never felt anything weird, ussually i wouldn't say this, but...IGNORE THE SITTUATION. they're trying to make you care about stupid stuff, like being rude to you! i know your going to do fine with this problem, just don't beat yourself up about it! you'll allways have those friends, thery won't go away just because of a silly little argument!! stick with what you belive in
ok so my mom still isnt letting me have a myspace, and im 14 but the only way she will is to get another perspective. well my friend [l] doesnt want my mom to know that she has a myspace for somereason, i dont know why but it doesnt matter, [l]s mom knows about her myspace and is fine, but my mom is going to call ls mom to get her view on it. if l doesnt want my mom to know about her myspace, and my mom will call her mom. something wrong will happen. so what should i tell my mom to make her change her mind about calling ls mom but still let me have a myspace without making it sound suspicious?
tell your mom the truth, tell her evrything you told me! if you tell her, she will be able to undersatnd it more. if she ask why your friend doesn't tell her mom, tell her...again the truth! which is, YOU DON'T KNOW!!! she will respect that more than a lye, or an excuse

i don't know what kind of house you have, but you can allways start from front door to back, it makes it a lot easier! if you invite someone over to help you, that could be good too! its a LOT faster
