My parents payed for me and my brother to go to a private school. It was really expensive but thank god we got insurance so some of the money will come back to us if we deside not to go. Well my brother and i ended up going to public school where it's free, the thing is that the private school won't let us get the money back unless we go there for 15 school days. I have been arguing with my parents saying that i just started to make friends at the public school, and things are really going my way. Going to the private school for 15 days will make it really hard to go back to the public school. I really dont know what to do cause it's a lot of money we will get back, yet i am really startin to fit in at the public school.

You should definitely go back for 15 days at the private school. It would prove to your parents that you are unselfish and considerate. Don't worry though, if you make friends for 15 days at the private school - you can still get their contacts (e-mail, phone). Something I am sure about? 15 days of not being there will make nothing but a slight difference in your friendships at the public schol.
hello all. i wrote a book and it got published and the publisher said that my book would be in stores by june 14th and there still arent any books in any stores. any advice on why i cant find my book anywhere or what to say to my "agent/publisher?"
You should definitely go straight to the publisher. He is the one who made the promise, and you have to confront him about it. You don't have to be mean about it, you could ask him nicely. Also - you could ask a bookstore if they are soon to get your book. Plus, you have to be aware of many of the publishing scams going around, so make sure you have all his contacts. Ok i have been away for about 3 weeks and my boyfriend has been hanging out with all these different girls.. I am kinda jelous and worried because I am moving in about 5 months but we wanted to keep it strong until i go. I feel that with him being with these different girls is going ot make him loose interest in me.. should I feel this way?
Feeling like he'd loose an interest over you because he is hanging out with other girls shows that you are a slight bit insecure about yourself, and the relationship. Make sure that he is "just" hanging out with those girls and nothing more. Then build your confidence up...there is no reason to feel so insecure.
(14,female)I use to go out with this guy...we went out for about 5 months n we were really serious...but i dumped him for his best friend(who was also one of my exs)(who i never hooked up with actually) and well me and him didnt talk for about 3 months..then on tha last day of school he came over n stayed till about 11 pm n we sorta hooked up..and then we didnt talk again for a month and then just recently he came over like 3 weeks ago n we hooked up again n i havent heard form him since then! I called ihm tha other day but he was being a real jerk! and then he had to go and told me to call him tha next day which i didnt i called him 2 days later and now he goes out with this girl that i cant stand!!but both of tha nights he came over he said he didnt want a g/f over tha summer bc of highschool starting and all that stuff and that i was one of tha clostest ppl to him in his life and that he still loved but me n then he goes out with her! and ever since he started getting invlolved with her he has been a real jerk...hes been lying alot too n he never use to...Im not sure what to do?! I dont want to loose him bc hes a great b/f and friend but i cant stand his new g/f and hes been being a jerk...what should I do? Plz help thanx
Okay, it doesn't seem like he was a nice boyfriend even before the guy hooked up with a new girl. Besides cheating on you, he acts like a jerk to you. You don't deserve a guy like that. Try throwing away anything that reminds you of him, anything at all...and move on. There is no consistency...it also seems like you were happier with the guy you went out with for five months. Go back with this guy, at least you guys were serious together.
I am always biting my nails all the time. I have tried fake nails. But I cant have them on because I play so many sports. Is there a way I can stop? I do it even when I dont realize I am doing it. I also know its not healthy at all. Any tips will be helpful... thank you!
There are many things you could do.
1) Get a pretty manicure, it'll look so good you won't want to ruin it with your teeth!
2) Keep your hands busy! Bounce a ball, or a yoyo.
3) Wear gloves (but honestly, who really DOES wear gloves in summer?)
4) Dip your fingers in tabasco sauce
5) Go to the pharmacist and ask them for a special bad tasting nail polish made for people with a nail biting problem. Good Luck.
heya im going to be a freshmen this year so its my first time in a public school. i was wondering if most people use backpacks or binders or w.e cause i heard that most people dont and i dont want to look outta place.. any comments would be helpfull and i rate well

Most people at my school use a side backpack(called a messenger bag) and they put their binders and folders and etc in that for their freshmen year. But if you are still wondering, you can ask the faculty the day before school starts - they'd be sure to have an idea. Also, don't they give you a supplies list? That should tell you. ok, im 17 and what do you do when your mom and best freind both hate the guy you are "seeing" and wont even give him a chance? but they dont even know how we are around each other and how we care about each other?
You should have a long talk with your mom and best friend and find out why they don't like him (they might be right!). Then, try and have your mom and best friend get to know him better by calling him over with you and your best friend, or bringing him home to your mom.
Around January i started likeing this guy named chris. We started talking and he told me liked me but that he couldnt go out with me because of everyone always getting into his business and trying to ruin things for him. Well he sortof stopped talking to me and it hurt me really badly. I liked him for the rest of the school year and then for 2 months he was only on my mind once in awhile. We'll in the beginning of July i started thinking about him again. He now wants to go out with me because he says that he didnt go out with me before because he didnt want me to get hurt and all this crap. Well last night we went skating and me and him hung out the whole time and i just wanted to hold his hand so badly but i knew that i couldnt. So around 10 he was like something about me goin out with him or something and my friend said aww are you askin her out and he said yeah and i said well how come now and he said just never mind megan and he said i try to be nice to you but you always seen to be mean in ways that you dont mean to. And so i just whatever chris. and then at the end of skatin ring he have me this really big hug and picked me up. The only problem is that there is a guy that has liked me for a really long time and he is like my best friend and he would never talk to me again if i went out with chris. What should I do in the situation? I really need some help so..b nice and ill rate you thank you!
Okay, well Chris seems very fickle. Like one day he is somebody, the next day another person. He doesn't seem like someone you can trust by what you're telling me. Ok, my school has a dress code, not exactly a uniform. We have to wear knee length skirts of solid color (no specific color) so they can be pleated, have bows, etc...We also have to wear polo shirts, sweaters, stuff like that...what are some ways to spice up my school uniform to make it cute and in style??
There are many ways...I also have to wear a uniform. The best way is to get creative with your: hair (clips, new styles), accessories (cute bracelets, necklaces, etc), attitude (be confident!).
These things can go a long way in spicing up the way you look.
i wanna start shaving should i just ask my mom?
YES!! Definitely, she won't bite! But just to let you know, shaving does require time and once you start shaving the hair grows back longer and a bit darker so before you start you have to make sure you shave on a regular basis.
Your mom should be able to tell you how to shave, it's not that hard, just make sure you don't start doing it without learning how to.

I've had a huge crush on this guy for almost a year now. He know's I like him, but he tries to ignore it like most guys do. He's in with the "popular" croud, but he's still acts really sweet and out-going and doesn't care what other people think. He waves at me a lot, he stares at me a lot, he plays with my hair and asks me to do stuff with him (in school, i.e. be his partner), and he also talks with me a lot more then other people. And just little stuff like that.
I know that a lot of people say "If you like someone, you automatically think they like you back", but I really think he likes me. But that's just me, and my friends think it's stupid to talk about, so does anyone have any adivce? Does he like me? o_O;
From what you're saying, he likes you. But you will never find out until you ask him!! Get to know him a little better and take the friendship one step further.
Can too many fruits a day be bad for you. I am always finding myself picking up an orange and eating it as a snack. I end up eating about twice as many as ur supposed to. lyk 8-10 a day.
Cut down a little bit, too much of anything is always a bad thing. But it's a good thing you like fruits (instead of someone like me who is a chocolate addict!).

ok well about a week ago ii got braces and on my bottom lip inside i have like this sore from them and the dentist sed i would for a few days but it hurts REALLY bad wen my braces hit it or i smile and i dont know what to do help!!!!
From the looks of it, you have a blister in your mouth. Yeah, they do hurt a LOT. A wire is probably poking you in your mouth without you knowing it. I had braces and that only happened when a wire was poking. So go back to the dentist, and they'll fix it for you. =)

okay im not fator anything..im only 105 BUT like my stomach is so weird looking like its thin and tight then like rigt under my belly button theres this huge buldge..i hate it..how do i get rid of this? cuz like it looks so nasty its like all skinny then BAM this buldge/roll thing under my belly button..HELP!
Crunches help mostly, they're your best bet. Try doing ten before you sleep and when you get up. That should tone up your stomach.

You should get to know him a little bit better. After that you could try flirting...lol it doesn't hurt. If it turns out you like him, the flirting should do the job.
Anyone have experience selling used socks and underwear on eBay? Should I advertise that my feet are small, or do "foot people" prefer big feet? Should I wear them until they're really really really smelly and dirty or what? Advise me on anything you think is important. Scratch out the idea of selling used socks and especially used underwear on eBay. I highly doubt people would want to buy it, but if you need to sell something on eBay...sell SOMETHING...ANYTHING...but used socks and underwear.

Be yourself! That's the best thing, but other than that you have to act normal, and seem interested in people. Also, it helps to join sports or groups in which you'll meet more people. Don't worry, and good luck!!

My boyfriend cheated on me once, not to mention along with it came several lies. Once I found out (thanks to a good friend), he told me that he was sorry and that he wanted me to be his girlfriend more than anybody else. The problem is, I still love him and although I've lost part of my trust in him, I want to get back together because I like him. Is this the right thing to do?

Well, simply put, there is no straightforward answer to this. Either way it could be bad so you have to take a chance. Listen to your boyfriend, talk to him about the pain you went through, how he's going to "change" and gain more trust in him. So take a chance at being his girlfriend, but this time keep your eye open wider, because the worst thing is getting your heart broken twice in a row.
