ok, im 17 and what do you do when your mom and best freind both hate the guy you are "seeing" and wont even give him a chance? but they dont even know how we are around each other and how we care about each other?

maybe u should just talk to ur bff and ur mom...they have to respect ur choice because if u guys really truley love eachother u're not going to wanna be seperated from eachother...if there's a past problem or problems now that ur bff and mom are seeing then maybe that's why they dont like him...they just dont want u to get hurt...but if u guys really love eachother confront ur bff and mom and make sure they KNOW everything is okay

i would have to say. give it time. tell your moms what u and him really feel bout eachother. if she loves you. shell understand. and your best friend. best friends are suppose to be there. shell understnad i guess.

Ignore them... i hate it when people try to judge sum1 without knowing them... do the same thing to their friends and when they ask y... be like now u know how it feels... sumtimes people dont truly understand how wrong they are untill they are on the other side

Just ReassuRe them that he Really *IS* a good peRson, and if he wasn't.. you wouldn't be hanging aRound with him. sit them both down and see what they have against him and tell them the truth and correct them and tell him he is really a great guy and have him along like waiting outside and bring him in thbat way they can re-judge him and get to know him and have a new aspect on him

You should have a long talk with your mom and best friend and find out why they don't like him (they might be right!). Then, try and have your mom and best friend get to know him better by calling him over with you and your best friend, or bringing him home to your mom.
