About Me: Hello & welcome to my advice column! My name is Jennifer and I'm 19 years old. So, theres this new girl in my life,i have a crush on and i'd like to take it a little farther then just being friends. I'm not exactly too sure what to do because i have never had a girlfriend before and little to no dating experience. Where is a good place to start? I don't think she likes me but she always says hi and smiles everytime i see her, and she is nice to me. Anyways, i just need some ideas or advice on what to do here.

Well, there's alot you can do to let a girl know you are interested in her. Smile alot and be flirty. If she is really nice to you and smiles at ya, it could mean she wants to be friends- or that she is shy and is waiting on you to make a move. Maybe she is shy too? The best thing you can do in this situation is talk to the girl about things. You need to tell people how you feel, because broken hearts are often caused by unspoken words. Let her know you are interested by asking her out to dinner or to go do some kind of fun activity. If you are too afraid of rejection- ask her if she wants to come with you and some of your friends to a movie, and tell her she can bring friends too. That might make both of you feel more comfortable around eachother and things could possibly heat up later on. But whatever you do- make sure you make some kind of move, because you never know if she feels the same way! =) Hope I helped you, and if you need more advice or have more specific questions, feel free to ask!

Well here's the thing, my best friend(23) has just recently gotten engaged. She has asked me(19) to be her maid of honor and I have said yes. But come to find out she has been lying to this guy(20) the whole time they've been together. I didn't realize what she's been doing until all of us started to hang out with each other. He's really nice and really loves her. But I don't believe she feels the same about him. She is what you would call a user. If you have something that she could benefit from she attaches to you and try's to get you for all you have. She has cancer and is getting a divorce from her present husband now, there goes her medical, this new guy is in the airforce and is form a family with money, (lots of benefits and can take care of her). My question is, should I tell him about all of her lies, cheating and sneaky ways or just leave the whole thing alone and let him find out for himself.

If I were you, I wouldn't try and get yourself in the middle of this situation. You can maybe warn him to watch out for her..but I would't jump to conclusions and tell him all the bad stuff about her. You learn when you have a chance to experience things; good and bad. This guy needs to find out for himself that this girl isn't being true. Plus- alot of the time you tell people things they don't wana hear and they will just ignore you. The best way to learn is from past experiences and finding things out for yourself. So just give this guy a hint to watch his back- and leave it there. Hope I helped!

i don't know what to give my boyfriend for christmas. the only thing i know he's interested in is video games and i don't have money like that. what could i get him with about $20 or $30??

Sometimes when I don't have money, I make my boyfriend things. I've made him little scrapbooks, and blankies. Or you could buy him a picture frame with a picture of you and him in it! Cologne and hats are good gifts for boys too. Hope I helped!

Not at all. Masturbation is a healthy sexual behavior. Most people do masturbate even if they won't admit it. Masturbation is a way for people to be sexual without actually having sex. It's perfectly safe and a perfectly normal thing for people to do. =] No worries and have fun!

Dry sex and Sex (Intercourse) are two very different things. During actual sex, the penis actually goes INSIDE the woman's vagina. Dry sex is where there are no fluids exchanged between the people. It's like you said, alot of humping and even riding eachother, but with clothes or even just underware on. So no, you and him did not have sex. Hope I helped you out!

An orgasm is like..all the excitement that has been building up during sex or foreplay just finally being released. It's really hard to explain I guess, but when you finally have one trust me- you will know. It's like the best feeling in the world. Then you start to want it more and more. Lol.

hi, im only 15 but im very interested in my weight! i recently started gaining weight but there has been no change in my diet. I was 105 but now for some reason my weight has gone up to 116. My mom just thinks im crazy and pushes me away but please don't do the same i really want to get back to my old weight and i want to do it a healthy way, so if anybody can help please tell me how to loose the extra pounds im only 5 foot 2 and i think i would be healthier with a smaller size. if you could just give me an example of what i should eat or something i should do everyday i would really appreaciate it.

Really, youdon't need to do anything at all about your weight, you are perfectly fine. Maybe you are getting ready to have a little growth spurt or something? I would wait a little bit before you start losing weight. You may need it if you are about to start growing! =] xo|Jenn*

Falling in love is a crazy thing. You just really need to be yourself. Don't rush into things tho, love can take it's time. You can't just MAKE guys fall in love with you. You can make guys crush on you and LIKE you. But falling in love is a serious thing, and it will happen in time. I believe there's someone out there for everyone, and your someone will eventually show up. Until then tho, get out and have some fun! If I were you, I wouldn't break up with him. He sounds really nice and nice guys are hard to find these days. Maybe you should re-think it. But if you still decide you wana break up, then just explain to him that you still wana be friends but nothing more because you just don't have the same feelings you used to. I'm going to go tanning in my backyard tomorrow and im fair skinned. Does anyone have any tips for me to get a good tan? How long do i have to stay out there? If i ware sunblock will i still get a tan? I will rate!

Use tanning oil. You can go for as long as you want, just be careful not to get burned- because then you will peel and lose your tan, and that would suck. Hah-have fun tho! xo|Jennifer*
