Ok guys I need to do a science fair experiment for school. Im 13/f in 8th grade and I wanna do sumthing with make up like how long lipstick stays on or something like that. I was thinking of testing like nail polish or maskara or shampoo or something. Please help! i'll rate good n no stupid answers or ill rate bad.

If I could do a project for a science fair it would probably be the effects of people staying up for three straight days. Wait, I guess that's not really science, but rather psychology. Nevermind, sorry.
Yes, but testing beauty products would be good. You could also do like the waterproof mascaras and then wet your face and take a Kleenex and wipe lightly to see if it is "really" waterproof. You could also do that with no smudge eyeliner and stay on all day lipstick. Good idea!

Give him time to warm up and if he doesn't, talk to him about it. If he still doesn't warm up, either let him go or keep trying, I suppose. You can't really get to know someone unless they can carry on a conversation every once in awhile.

(16/f) One of my good guy friends and I are starting to like hang out more and he's told like the whole world he likes me.. but that's not the point. One day at tennis practice I was telling one of my really good friends that he liked me and since then she's been like all over him and it's really annoying! thats a picture of me..and if that picture doesnt work, my hair is almost shoulder length, black, and parted to side, so my bangs go over one eye, and they are a bit shorter than the rest of my hair.
saturday i have a hair appointment to get a trim, thin, and styled for homecoming, and my question is, how should i get it styled? i have no idea what would look nice. my dress is black with some pink, and its long with speghetti straps.

As for the styling, I would have them do cornrow twists and then maybe flip it out in back or curl the ends if it is long enough. Or you could get it curled (think Jessica Simpson's blonde bob with wavy curls) and use little sparkly pins or something. Good luck, hope I helped!

okay, so this guy i am "together with" which means we are pretty much going out without the label. anyway, he says he likes me alot, but doesnt think we would be able to have a relationship because he doesnt think i would want him to finger me, or i wont give him head. and the truth is, i just think it would be akward.. but ive gone out with him before.. and i really want a relationship with him.. he doesnt want to have sex with me.. just do everything else. but ive never given anyone head, and ive never been fingered.. im 14.. and i didnt think i should be doing that stuff.. what should i do? Coming from a fourteen year old who, yes, has done that kind of stuff, it's not awkward. If you're with a guy you love. And it doesn't make you a whore, unless you're doing it to every guy you see.
Honestly, I've talked to a few guys and I can see his point of view. If a guy is used to getting and giving, that's going to be hard for him to just stop. Once you get it it's hard not to want it, even a little bit. But if he can't wait for you until you are ready, then move on to someone who can.

Lonestar's new CD looks good, so does Gretchen Wilson's. I also personally like Craig Morgan, George Strait, and Keith Urban. Also, I'm not sure if his album is out yet, but Jason Aldean's first single "Hicktown" was amazing. So his CD might be worth buying also! Um, Target has giftcards for Ipod.com where you can use them to buy stuff and download songs.
As far as movies, some ones I like are Signs, Beauty Shop, Bringing Down The House, Pay it Foward, Saw, The Wedding Date, and some others I can't really remember right now.

I realize that this is a question asked millions of times per day and that I normally skip over questions like these. Please don't do that here. There's this guy in one of my classes, and I like him. Since the beginning of the year, he's been emphasising the traits that we have in common. For example, I am an unuually loud and outgoing person. He has become loud and seems really confident. Plus he has style and is so cute. He's funny and makes me smile. Lately, he's been walking 1/2way to my next class with me and today his arm was around me for like a long time. I haven't really had any experience with guys, but I am in high school, and so is he. Do you think that he's being friendly, or that he likes me? Okay, we have 8th grade prom comming up in about 8 months and my friend weighs about 230 pounds and she was to lose about 80 and that will leave her at 150. So, if you divide 80 into 8 that will be 10 pounds a month, So if i divide 5 into 10 that would be 2 pounds a week. Do you think my friend can lose 80 pounds in 8 months or so?????? We have already talked about her eating habits and exercising and drinking a lot of water.

Well... 3,500 calories equals one pound so cutting down 500 calories a day will help her lose about one pound a week.

Use a plum eyeliner on your bottom lid and inner rim. I think people with big eyes look good when they put eyeliner on their lower rims. It will help make your eyes look a teensy bit smaller but the plum eyeliner will make your green eyes pop!

Hey! I'm in my first year of college, and I'm having trouble. It's honestly hard for me to pay attention in class. All teachers do is lecture, lecture, lecture, give a test, and repeat it all over again. I TRY to pay attention and take good notes, but it's never good enough. I've failed half of my tests so far. And since I have 4 more tests coming up within the next 3 weeks, I'm really nervous about those too. You HAVE to do good on tests, because really, that's all your grade is. A bunch of tests.
Does any one have any good study tips for college? It's also hard because they don't give study guides like they did in high school, so I never know what material to study. I really don't know if college is for me. The way I passed high school with As and Bs was..I'd do all the work given, do bad on the tests, and it'd average out to a B. I'm not used to studying. I try, but it doesn't work. Any advice? Thanks. (link)

Try different techniques for studying. For example, try flashcards, or try taping lectures so you can listen and repeat as much as you want. Just expirment and you will hopefully find a way to study that works for you. Best of luck!

You're right, he has no right to do that with another girl, whether it's cheating or not. But rather than blowing up on him just talk to him and tell him how that hurts that he would hang out with her and put his mouth on her, whether he thought of it sexually or not. Explain your point of view, and listen to his. That way things will hopefully get resolved sooner. Good luck!

To give a little background, my boyfriend and I have been together for over a year I'm 16 and he's 17. He would always get things in the mail from the Army, Navy and the Marines. He would save them, show it to me and I'd rip it up and tell him he's not going. The thought of my boyfriend going away to war is something I just CAN'T handle.
I was in his room, cleaning it up while he was in the shower like I always do and I found a flyer that had the information about the Navy on it... I was getting ready to rip it up when I saw that he had signed up for it..
I always told him that I'd be heartbroken if he would sign up for anything that COULD get him killed.
I'm trying SO hard to understand... But I can't. I don't know why he would do this to me. He keeps saying it's for the best but I KNOW it's not the best for him. He always told me he'd never leave me, but by doing this I feel like he is. He always told me, "You don't know what I would give just to see your beautiful face every day and just to have you in my arms, even if it's for 5 minutes." He's told me he wants to be the father of my children, my husband, my one and only.. If he's at war, how is he going to do that??
I really want to convince him NOT to go, but that's just being selfish... But at the same time I want him here with ME. I don't want to live every day in fear that I'll get that knock on my door and having someone tell me that the love of my life was killed.
So my questions are... SHOULD I convince him not to go and explain to him why I don't want him to?
If not, how can I get over this? How can I deal with it every day knowing that my boyfriend is risking his life? (link)

This might not be very good advice, but tell him what you just told all of us. Make him see how much this is hurting you and tell him how scared you would be if he left and that you can't handle being in pain every day. Good luck!

I mean I will probably still get a little bit from them but at least some of it needs to be my own. If you get a worker's permit you can work legally I believe. Um, I'd go to the school counselor and ask if she knows where you could get a job at your age. I'm looking for one too, and that's where I went! Also ask around to friends and see if they know where anyone has gotten their jobs. Best of luck!

hey heres my story:
im 18 yrs old and in love with a 24 yr old man! my story starts like this, hes my manager at my job and iimediatly had an instant crush on him but me i dont have that much confidence in myself so when he satrted to show intrest in me i panicked and backed way and brought in a freind to go for him, but the only thing is that the friend is actualy me! the real me that i would like to be but dont have the confidence to be! i made up her name and a whloe life for her(me).and called him pretending to be this person! everything was going so well and my emotions got stronger and the more we talked the more we had in common! i ended up fallin totaly head over heels in love with him and decided id tell him and low and behold he felt the same way! and of course he wanted to meet! i didnt know wat to do! i thought for days and days as to wat i should do and finaly decided i should tell him the truth! that the women he was in love with was me!.... well when i told him over the phone he seemed fine and didnt wanna talk about it just wanted to put it behind us and told me that he could never trust me agian! and im the type of person that trust is important to me and it broke my heart to hear that! so anyway the next three weeks passed by and evything was fine he was nice and called me to talk like friends he invited me to places with him and stil comnfided stuff with me! we were all cool then he hit me with a song he had wrote! he had origianly wanted me to hear it but my comp didnt have speakers so he sent me the lyrics! it was amazing lyrics it touched my heart but he didnt say that i was for me! so i read it he imed me like 20 times asking me if i had recived it and wanted my reaction! once again i panicked and retracted my emotions and played it as if i didnt understand the message he was trying to convey! like i liked the song and wanted to know who the artist was (knowing that he wrote it). he immediatly signed off! then greated me at work with a big smile the next day and asked me once again if i had recived the email! again i backed away! and now so di he! he wont talk to me as much anymore and insist on makeing me jelouse with the other female employees! meanwhile im standing hear with all these feelings and dont know wat to do! im in love with him so much it hurts i cant take it anymore he keeps telling me that my apolagies just arnt enough!can u pls tell me wat i should do! it hurts to have these strong feeling twords someone and not be sure that they feel the same way! i want to go back to when i was the real me!( wich he named lola)
