Question Posted Saturday September 17 2005, 6:45 pm
I am 14/f and I really need to start making money of my own. I'm sick of getting it from my parents. I mean I will probably still get a little bit from them but at least some of it needs to be my own. I know babysitting and I have done that before but how do I get people like parents to know that I do that? AND what are some other jobs I can do? Much appreciated. I'll rate high....

When completed the coarse, post fliers stating that you are CPR certified. That looks great when parents need a babysitter.
You are also old enough to bus tables at IHOP.
You make decent tips. it make a great part time job.

Um, I'd go to the school counselor and ask if she knows where you could get a job at your age. I'm looking for one too, and that's where I went! Also ask around to friends and see if they know where anyone has gotten their jobs. Best of luck! [ Christeena's advice column | Ask Christeena A Question ]
Mercy_x_Me answered Saturday September 17 2005, 7:06 pm: well if you have one babysitting job they just spread word...like if the kids have their friends over and they really like you they tell their parents. And.... I'm pretty sure you can work at McDonalds. Maybe offer to mow grass/shovel snow/rake leaves when the season is right? [ Mercy_x_Me's advice column | Ask Mercy_x_Me A Question ]
