Padding means the space around your image.

Background-position means the position of your background: center, fixed, etc.

Q: do tea bags help in one time or do you have to use it for a period of time for your eyes to stop being puffy? because ive used chilled spoons and tea bags and they dont work. do i have to use it consistently? for how long? :(

Have you tried sliced fresh cucumbers?

Supposedly the cooling effect from cucumbers deflates puffy eyes and rejuvenates tired eyes. Plus, you could have a snack right afterwards when you're done!

it's a cascading style sheet. This particular piece of code tells you the properties of a table. I think it gives the properties for the images in a table.

See if you can arrange an appointment with your health care physician. If your parents ask, say that you aren't feeling too well or something. It's not lying but not exactly the truth either.

Breast tenderness is normal for your age and around when your period comes.

And please practice safe sex (yes, with a condom) so a scare like this doesn't happen again. Especially for your sake.

Q: during school i always act all uptght and everything, it's hard for me to be chill when im a little nervous. what are ways i can just relax?

Breathe.

I know. It's strange to hear but take a moment and just take in several deep breaths. Concentrate only on inhaling through the nose and filling up your lungs from the bottom of your diaphragm to the top then exhaling through your nose starting from the bottom of your diaphragm to the top of your lungs.

You could also take anxiety classes/workshops that are available.

But it sounds like you just need to breath and settle yourself back into the moment.

Q: i think i want my major in college to be something with writing. i would love to be an opinion columnist or journalist but what classes would i take and how i could prepare for this. also, if i decided to go into being an author.. what would i do as far as college goes? i know about taking classes for journalism.. but would i just take classes for creative writing? thanks.

Are you talking about before or when you get to college?

If you're still in high school, have you tried joining a book club or the school paper? The school paper should give you a better idea of what goes on as part of a team of journalists. Or even a journalism class.

In college, there are most likely writing course requirements (it differs at every school) and taking a journalism 100 or 101 class would give you an idea.

As an author, you could take all sorts of creative writing workshops but again, those classes may have prerequisites.

How about babysitting? Or a paper route? Those are often the jobs that 13 year olds take.

With any divination tool, there are rules and means of protection.

Have you tried google searches for protection or cleansing rituals? A divination tool opens up to a world not too many people understand and, like many unknown places, you would need to go in with protection because you never know what's on the other side. Also protect people that are with you when you're messing with the board and the home. Don't want evil spirits lingering, right?

Second, try to local palm reader or consult if any of your friends have had experiences in the occult so that they would be able to guide you through the experience.

Finally, input = output. If you're truly looking for answers, you might just find it...but the message may be a bit fuzzy. Divination (even by ouija boards) doesn't always produce a clear answer.

Q: My best friend, let call her "Jade," has been getting sexually harrassed by her stepfather (without her mom knowing). After she told me this, I told her to call the cops and she said "it's not as bad as it seems." When I tried to call the cops, she told me to relax and not call the cops because "it's not as bad as it seems." Then she said if I ever told the cops, her mom, or anyone else, she would never speek to me ever again (I also can't tell her mom because she dosn't speek any English and wouldn't know what I'm saying). What do I do?

I agree with the previous advisers.

Call the cops.

Do you think it's possible that she's saying "It's not as bad as it seems" to protect her identity/reputation and her step-father's identity/reputation?

Don't take her word for it.

And if you're worried that you can't talk to her mom about it, there's usually a community member that can speak the same language or dialect. A trusted professional.

Call Child Protection Services too. She shouldn't be anywhere near someone like that.

I agree with the other answer.

Just sitting your dad down and talking with him could get his trust back. But also listen. Moms and dads often do things and tell us not to do things for sometimes good reasons. Since he hasn't seen you in 3 years, you need to reassure him that you're a young woman now. Not 13 anymore.

Q: Okay well I am 16 and I'm still a virgin. But I do masturbate. Anyways, about three months ago I had my period. And then it skipped a month. But I heard that every two years it skips a month, and that was my two year. So I had it again last month. And I'm suppose to get this month. And I usually get them on the last week of the month. Well if they're doing what it seems like they're doing, it wouldn't be surprising to find sperm residue in the shower. However, it wouldn't be enough of an amount to make it to an egg.
You're probably missing it because you're nervous (even though you've been nervous before, the event of new roommates and the stress of your ankle could affect it).

Q: So, yesterday I was in the worst pain of my life. I was rushed to the ER in an ambulance. And they told me I had a cyst on my ovary and it had popped. Does this mean I won't be able to have babies?

You'll be able to have babies.

Cysts are normally small bubbles with cells inside of them. When they're popped and not drained, your body re-absorbs the cells.

Like Jack said, there are many women who have had cysts in their ovaries form, popped, and drained and were able to have kids afterwards.

Q: i work at a resturaunt so im on my feet all day, wat can i do after work to make them stop hurting and wat can i do to get used to it

Hot water and some bath salts does a world of wonders for sore feet. Like a little spa treatment for yourself.

After a nice soak, you can also rub lotion on them. Not like splat on and wax off, but taking the time to work the lotion into the sore muscles. It promotes blood flow. And if you're doing massages, don't limit to just your feet, do your calves and ankles. Get the blood flowing!

During your shift, you could invest in some gel sole inserts. I used to do customer service at a computer store and my feet were killing me. Then I got some Dr. Scholl's and that made a world of difference.

Q: 15/F
I have hypothyroidism, depression, PMDD, hypoglycemia and we dont have it all fixed yet but close.
My doctors said the only thing we can really do at this point is wait for the meds to kick in which could take like FOREVER, and get me on a good sleeping schedule: ten hours of sleep going back a half hour each week.
But I have to be in homeroom by 7:25 and I take quite a while to get ready. I barely have time for breakfast which I NEED.
My school said I can have lunch and study block first period and just come in after that, but Id be missing out on all those people, morning pep rallies, which wouldnt help my self esteem. NO I cannot stay for afterschool activites.

SO do you guys wake up "fully refreshed" each morning, like I think Im supposed to? And how do you make TIME for so much going on?? I needneedneed to be ready this year :[
Ive almost failed 8th and 9th grade by absenteeism [whole second semester] and Im running out of advanced courses. Arrgh, HELLLP!

Not EVERYONE wakes up fully refreshed.

Technically, and in a perfect world, we're all able to get 8 solid hours of deep sleep.

In reality...we're lucky of we get 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

talk more with your councelors about it. They'll arrange a better schedule for you.

You already made the choice to have sex with your boyfriend and take pictures of yourself so to show your mom that you are adult enough to handle sex, you should handle the situation in a responsible and mature manner.

Own up to it. "Yes, I did it. Yes, there's pictures. No, I'm not a slut. I'm you're daughter."

Ok, if you're talking about the code you put into your profile that you've copied from a myspace profile generator, it's called CSS.

Cascading Style Sheets are a quick way to personalize your profile without going into the html coding (that's the code that makes a web page) and changing every little thing.

Q: There's this boy that I use to go out with maybe about like a year ago and to make a long story short, we don't talk to each other anymore. Well, he's leaving in about a week to go to college, and I've sorta been talking to him like how's your summer been kinda crap. that's a very bad idea.

Especially with exes, sex can get very complicated.

So don't do it. If you're that desperate, there are alternative ways in doing that. Or you can wait a bit.

They're different units of measurements. Px (pixels) are the tiny dots on your screen. Pt (points) are a tiny bit bigger.

Q: Tonight, a guy that I hate poured some capsule and its contents all over my food before I unknowingly ate it. The capsule was clear and pill shaped, inside it was a grainy/powder of a wheat, beige color. It has an awful smell that I couldn't name. Anyone have any ideas what it could be that I ate?

I know the guy is lactose intolerant, so if you are .. do you take a pill like that?
