Q: Hi! Im in high school and i am thinking about having a job in child welfare. When I read your question, I thought of a social worker, which I used to have after my parents got divorced to visit my dad, who was kind of crazy. Social workers need to obtain a license or become professionally registered. You can start off with a Bachelor of Social Work degree, and most countries offer a post-graduate degree (master's or doctoral). This is for professional social workers. For lay practitioners or Care Workers you do not hold any professional standing or registration.

Social work with children is child/adolescent therapy. There are three levels of social work: micro (individual & family), mezzo (agency & small groups) and macro (societies, organizations & communitites).

Sororities and fraternities (meaning "sister" and "brother" in Latin, respectively) are houses of members that are sort of like a big family at colleges. Sororites rush (take in new members) during the holidays. You must have the qualities that they look for, like cleanliness, sisterhood, and GPA requirements. Rushes are basically when sororities impress you with all the stuff they have to offer. You must be invited to Pledge, where you prove to them that you have what it takes. Sororities are actually a ton of fun. It's like having a bunch of sisters all around you. Hope that helps you understand!

Tardies- I so disagree. What if you have a doctor's appointment or something? It should vary based on situation.

No hats- I completely disagree. What harm does a hat cause? It may be courteous to take hats off indoors, but not a rule.

Graffiti- I agree. Graffiti and vandilizing things is not acceptable. It is ugly and shameful. Note I do like murals with artistic talent, but regular spray-painting is just awful.

No hair dye- I agree. Hair dye is not natural, and schools should be a place where students learn what is acceptable and what is not. Unnatural hair and mohawks are not acceptable, AND a major eyesore.

My fiance and I are getting married. He wants a bachelor party though. Before I say yes, what exactly goes on in a bachelor party. I know girls come to their house/where ever or they go to a strip club with their guys, but do they happen to have sex with the strip girls? I don't feel comfortable if that happens obviously. It depends on the man and the strippers, and if it is in a strip club it depends on the laws in that area and the policies of the club. I've never seen strippers kiss a guy except maybe on the cheek, usually just lap dances. The parties I've been to were innocent, but this cannot be guaranteed. At the very most he might get to grab their butt and chest, but usually this isn't allowed. If your future husband is a faithful and honorable man, you have nothing to worry about because he won't do anything he shouldn't do. Plus, if he was going to have sex it is less likely that he'd do it at the bachelor party because there would be a lot of witnesses, even if everyone is supposed to keep quiet. If your hubby decides to cheat, then it's likely that he's done it before. A cheater is a cheater. If you trusted him while he was away before (business trips, etc.) then you can trust him now. One night isn't going to change his love for you. Don't stress! Have fun at your bachelorette party too!

Chemical straighteners are so awful for your hair including the following risks:
1. Harmful health effects.
2. Chemical burns.
3. Red scalp.
4. Receding hairline.

If you really MUST, though, go to a professional. They contain dangerous chemicals, like PHOSPHORIC ACID and AMMONIUM HYDROXIDE, which can be hazardous if split or you have an accident with them. You never know. They have the potential to spread to other parts of the body, anyway.

Q: I've always had this thing for this guy, we'll call him Q. q was my BEST friend in 5th grade, but after that he didn't really give a shit about me in 6th and barely in 7th. And in 5th grade, he asked me out and he really liked me as did I but I don't know, I never really answered, and I wish I had said yes. Well, Q like a lot of guys probably seems pretty superficial. It seems like he spends his time thinking about pretty girls, right? Well, this is fine. Guys will be guys, and guys like pretty girls. The first thing that attracts a guy is prettiness. (Second thing is personality, even though some will tell you otherwise. Since you guys already have history together, you don't need to worry about personality.) You probably are really pretty! Most girls ARE pretty, even though some more than others.

Get your hair done in a nice cut that compliments your face. Pick out some basic make-up. I suggest some black liner, clear gloss and some blush and mascara. That's all you need. Dress to impress! Be classy, but stylish at the same time. You are pretty, just you need to have that extra va-va-voom.

Guys WILL NOT only be interested in bimbos. We like to think the worst of guys, but in reality, it's the way a girl can think for herself that really spikes a true relationship.

After you feel that you are really confident, you should have a one-on-one talk to tell him that you still have feelings for him from the fifth grade. He'll have noticed how you've become prettier and such and will definitely feel attracted to you too. Note that he won't be full fledged in love, but you have to start somewhere! It will be even easier since you guys know each other as friends already.

How old are you? Well, let us assume you're 16. In about 10 years, it's going to look pretty nasty. Not only will it stretch when you get pregnant, but it will wrinkle and sag in your golden years. NOT a pretty sight. Even if you get a tattoo somewhere else, it will still wrinkle and sag. Consider using a temporary tattoo, or even better, nothing AT ALL.

Q: I'm 15 and a sophomore girl. I am thinking of going to like a boarding school next year if my parents would let me. I hate my mom and i really want a new start in getting friends and stuff. My first question is is it worth it? I would miss my pets and some family and my friends. But I can't stand my mom and I want a new start- badly. I also want to try living on my own.
