I have a friend who has a pretty hard life.She lives with her dad,grandma and older brother.Today we were all at her house and she said f*** and her grandma walked in and started hitting her in the face.My friend tried to block her but her grandma pulled her arm away and smacked her dead on in the face.My friend got so mad that she threw her cd player and then she said "Im out of her" so of course we followed her and when she opened the door her grandma pull her by the arm and starting hitting her again.My friend pounched the wall and walked out and there was a hole in the wall.She was afraid that her dad was going to beat her when he found out and she was sooo scared.What should I do to help her out??Ill rate high for any answer!! You should talk to your friend and be there for her. Well she shouldn't have said IT in the first place no matter what and she needs to learn how to control her temper. If her family hits her alot take her to your school counsolor and talk about it with them.

Yeah I know how it feels I've got a rough family too. Running away won't solve anything believe me I know. I stay in my room alot Iming, phone anything but yeah I try to stay away from them at all cost un less I'm needed.

On Sunday I'm going to the beach wwith my family and another family who has a 14 year old son. He's a year older than me and he's cute!!! I have these one pieces that i look good in, but i also have some bikinis. The problem with my bikinis is my nipples show through the fabric!!! Yuck!! Should i wear the bikini anyway or go with a one piece? (link)

Go with what you like who cares what he thiks. If you wanna wear the bikini swe in some padding the things most other bikinis have. They're cheap and can be found in almost any clothing store.

I think your lice problem might still be in your own home. Wash all bedding and vacum everywhere! Wash your couches or clean them somehow. Get all their toys especaially stuff animals and dolls washed. ALL they're clothes needs to be wash and throw away your old brushes, combs, picks, and hair accessories and get new ones.

Okay, I know this might sound stupid, but in October, there's a Halloween Dance, and they encourage you to wear costumes. What are some good halloween costumes? I was thinking of being a pink lady, or dorothy, from the wizard of oz. Nothing to drastic, because I go to a catholic school. Thanks

Well it really depends on what you like. If you like movies try dressing up as a main character. Or dress up as your favorite singer or what you want to be when you grow up. A new a group of friends who dressed up as a group o old ladies a couple of years ago. Why don't you and your friends dress up as a group of something.

Tell him how you feel or if he doesn't care anymore maybe its time you two split. Yeah it can be hard at times but maybe he just has something else on his mind. But you two should really talk it out because a relationship is a two way street so start talking.

Me and my friend both have questions:
My question: I just started going out with this guy that I have been with on and off before. We haven't seen each other all summer so we talk on the phone alot. Anyways, I don't know what to talk to him about! We both end up asking the other person what they wanna talk about and saying I don't know. Or we end up talking about "us" or something. Any ideas? I don't wanna seem boring.
My friends question: My dad is racist, and the problem is I like a guy who is partially black. When we're talking on the phone my dad always interrupts me and asks why we are talking. It's really getting on my nerves and I don't think my dad can get over this. What should I do?

My ex boyfriend and I still have feelings for each other. The only reason we broke up was because of an Instant Messanger Misunderstanding since someone always goes on his screenname. Well, he has a girlfriend who he only likes as a friend (which I think he got to make me jealous.) He and I want to get together but I'm afraid I'm going to get hurt? So should we keep ourselves a secret, should we tell his girlfriend about us, or should I just tell him its not a good idea? We really like each other. So any advice would be great. ok i have this friend. we used to be the CLOSEST BEST FRIENDS EVER! everyone in our school new that we were best friends. we were always together and we hardly ever got in fights. we were in every class together (except 2)
then in 8th grade, we kind of slipped away because we werent in ANY classes together...
so near the end of 8th grade, she started calling me a slut and not calling me or hanging out with me and she just ignored me...
we havent seen each other all summer.

Friends grow apart from each other even bestfriends. Time has changed and maybe you and your friend should meet new people and start hanging out with a different crowd. You can't change a person physically or mentally so just be nice and if things aren't going out so well forget her. There are tons of people and I'm sure you can find someone else.

Try joining a choir they'd kow where to put you weather it alto or saprano. Or your music teacher could help you. Songs will fit to your level of singing ability

This is going to be the strangest question ever. My grandmother and my mother both carried a Bible as part of their bouquet for their weddings. I want to do the same. There are 4 possible Bibles that would fit the bill.
#1-Grandmother's Bible-She isn't around, and she wouldn't let my mom carry it. It's a faded ivory.
#2-Mom's Bible-She carried it, but she is now divorced. So maybe superstitiously, I don't really want to carry it. I will already be wearing her veil. It is white.
#3-The Bible I was given when I was Baptized. It's blue, and a little stained due to a fire. I don't think anyone will see the stained.
#4-The Bible I was given at or near birth with my name written on it. It is a very light pink.
All of these Bibles mean something to me. They aren't huge, so weight shouldn't be an issue. One day I want the blue one, and one day I want grandmother's Bible. What's your opinion?

i have acne scars on my cheeks they are kinda purple and very very small. i think they are acne scars they look like pores but are kinda red and purple, they are very faint and are covered up easily by foundation but by the end of the day you can see them again :( so is there such a thing as scar removal of fader or something?? cos my skin would be pretty clear when they have gone. its just my cheeks.
btw i am 16/f and live in the uk... do boots sell something i can use?

Try using Neosporin cream its the same cream you would use to treat cuts or wounds. And their are patches that remove scars from the same company...good luck.

You can't just forget about someone just like that it takes time. Try doing something you like. A sport maybe or a hobbie? It's ok if your not over him it's gonna take some time. In the mean time hangout with some of your friends and do somethign together.

Don't risk yourfriendship for a greed of wanting more of something. You could talk to him and if he's all weird about then he's not a good friend because I good friend will always be your friend no matter what. Relationships start out as friendships.

hiya
recently i feel like ive been loosing my self.
ive beeen moody, snapping at my parents and self harming, ive also been considering suicide because i dont see any reason why i can continue to live. my parents split up about a month ago, im overweight, and i just feel useless. i lost my first love over ago because i realised how much i wanted to be with him after he left. i just dont know what to do any more. im 16/f and i just feel like ive lost my life already. i dream about love falling asleep under the stars with the person i love but i cant find that person to be with.
any ideas why im feeling like this and how i can stop it will get 5's.

Dear Emma your just going through a phase in life al teens have to go through. It's call identity crisis and it can be really serious sometimes. Try talking to a counsuler or a psycatrist they're there to help and listn. Get a journal. Try mediatating or yoga or a walk.

ahhh!! I just got back from the beach and I got burnt but then it turned REALLY tan.. then just a couple days ago it started peeling! I thought nothing of it now my back is splotchy and I don't know what to do! I'm going to have to wear a bathing suit in 2 days and I don't want it to look like this.. I keep putting aloe vera on it.. is there anything else I can do to make it not as blotchy? (link)

Don't scratch or scrub. When you bath just let the water run down your back. I don't think you can do anything cause when you peel you just go on and on until it decides to stop. Try some vaseline because it heals skin.
