I sing too and Ive been singing since i was little, but i find the best things to sing are actually old folk tunes, like the miller of dee, and sometimes even nursary rymes(yes i know it sounds stupid) then move on to soft songs, not too high not too low. The important thing is not to strain your voice.

Also try voice exersises, sing vowel sounds alternating up an octave, and then change the bottem note (for instance eeee, aaaa, eeee, aaaa).

Remember to keep your vocal cords moist with water at all times, so you dont stress your throat. Also when singing open up your throat as much as possible, like how open it is when you yawn.

Hope I helped, sorry its so long.
Take Care.

Try joining a choir they'd kow where to put you weather it alto or saprano. Or your music teacher could help you. Songs will fit to your level of singing ability

Start out searching through songs that are in your voice range. Dont go trying to sing Mariah carey or anything, lol. If your really interested in pursuing a music career. Look around for a place that provides voice lessons and have them evaluate you and tell you what range you sing in, and choose music to sing that way. Just sing along to the radio, and dont try to hit any notes that will strain your voice. just try and get a feel of what artists you can or cant sing.

Try singing operah which you will sing high or songs that relate to strong words like gangsters, crime, tiredness of bad things occuring write a song try it you have nothing to lose.Have people see you sing and let them be the judge someone close to you like a friend and ask for an honest opinion if you are not feeling it write somethingelse and don't give up which makes you a winner to reach your goals or dreams in life!

If you sing high, you're most likely a soprano. Try joining your school or church choir. It will give you a chance to stretch the range of your voice as well as learn more. Taking voice lessons is another option. There are also some free online voice lessons.

If you join a choir group at church or school, they usually dont make you try out. You could also take voice lessons. You should start off slow and then work your way up!

hope i helped!<3

I think you should go to a voice coach because they could always help you with your voice and finding your range. They could always help you from there to get off on the right foot.
