You can blowdry upside down (bend down at the waist and blowdry the back of your hair. There's also scrunching, while giving you nice messy curl/waves can also add some nice volume. Or, if you want to, you can try ratting/teasing your hair. That gives MAJOR volume if you do it right.

My friend once had a twenty minute conversation with someone dealing with Hot Pockets. Just pick something to talk about and let it flow from there.

Little jokes from movies and TV shows that your friends can relate to help move conversation along. Talk about things you and they are interested in and if you feel an awkward silence come along, feel free to brake it with something simple, random, and witty.

I need a really nice or cool picture for an art thing I'm doing at school. I'm in grade 12

It can be a picture of anything at all but I just can't seem to find a really nice picture/ photo that I can draw. I don't want to copy it exactly but i want to do something similar for inspiration.

what's a C section??

I think you are talking about when there are complications with getting a baby out vaginally so they need to cut the baby out of the mother. Its a Cesarian (sp?) section I believe, I was one. Normally the baby is too big to come out of the vaginal canal. In other cases, the parent has an STD that may truly harm a vaginally birthed child.

Google it, and you'll probably find out more details if you want. Thats all I know on my own.

i am currently on prozac .. the bottle says do not drink alcohol... why is this? what can happen? if i have a few beers will i die.. or is it if i consume an exceesive amount of alcohol will there be harfmful effects?

Well, as with most medications, side effects are unknown. Chances are you will not die if you drink alcohol.

Warnings like that usually mean that the chemicals in the alcohol can mess up the chemicals in the medicine. Or it may go bad in your stomach, making you nauseous.

People are very different though, so who knows what it could do to you. Once again though, I highly doubt you will die.

Yeah, a boy/girl party really shouldn't be a big deal unless your parents are super-overprotective. Its best if you just sound natural about it.

And if your house isn't big enough, telling your parents nicely is good. But sometimes parents get a little antsy about their child having parties without them being involved, so you should also ask if they could help with some of the things:
decoration, guest list troubles, food, and such.

Parents like to be involved in their kids' lives, and inviting them to help may also cool them down a bit.

You could probably find them anywhere. Look at places that sell bathroom/bedroom items and you can get a mirror in a frame shaped around it. Just pick out the shape and size you like (in the case of that link, medium rectangular), buy three, and take them out of the frame. That link tells how to put them together so I won't get into that.

Home Depot, maybe Target and Kohls, or Home Goods even could sell those things. Or once again, other minor chain stores that specialize in house decoration.

I'm currently a junior in high school- and so i'm begining the whole college search process. I'm an average student...mostly B's...some A's and i usually have 1 C on my report card. I'm decently involved in school (yearbook, Campus minustry, social Life) i volunteer, i've gone on Habitat for Humanity trips. I'm looking for a school that is on the smaller side...but not really small...like somewhere between 2 and 6 thousand undergrads. I really want a pretty campus! And deffinatly not all girls (i got to an all girl private high school).

Any college reccomendations? Please help!

I'm a also in the process of looking for colleges and I must say when looking for smaller colleges I tend to look at the colleges in my state.

Look for something that doesn't have a big name. I can't give any recommendations that aren't Illinois state (which is all I'm able to look at), but I'm sure every state has at least one or two small colleges in their biggest cities.

You should start looking in your state, googling "ohio colleges" or wherever and then go from there. If you do want to travel, that is get out of YOUR state, then just do the same with that. Pick a few states at random and pick around. Each website or brochure will have information and pictures of their campus, so you can pick one that's pretty for you.

For a pretty campus you're probably going to want to look for non-city campuses though. Maybe outlying rural colleges.

okay so i want to have a web show in youtube. all about me. like but i want to have alot of viewers maybe about 1 million. what can i do on my show that can make people want to view it? like if you were a viewer what would you like to see. i wanted to like make an advice video where people can ask questions and i make a video giving them advice but what other things can i do? thanks in advance! i rate.

While also doing what Endi says, you could also give suggestions. Like, new music to listen and books to read, movies and TV shows to see. You could even show clips of the above that you really like.

Pick up a newspaper, or look up interesting news on the internet or in magazines. Discuss that. Maybe bring a friend in to discuss it with, and crack little jokes along with your own opinons (think the Daley show). Maybe dub over on certain clips.

Maybe even pull a Martha Stewart and explain little crafts one could do.
I don't really know you personally, so I don't really know what talents you have but you might be able to add a little of that too.

Basically just try to keep your audience's attention. Be fun. If you've ever seen Smosh or any of the LARPers on YouTube you could pull some of their techniques out.

Hm, you know I googled it and got a lot. I'm sure if you look there and then ask around you'll find some good ones. I don't think there's a surefire way of knowing something is a scam since some people are pretty good at making these things sound real, so dig deep and don't give the money away until you get results first.

I just saw Across the Universe over Spring Break and I loved it!

There were a lot of strange parts I didn't understand (such as the random circus/carnival). I know some of the weirder parts were because the characters were doing some type of drug and other strange parts were just symbolism.

Does anyone else recognize strong symbolism in the movie?
Such as when Jude is going crazy with the Strawberries? I think that symbolized blood shed in the Vietnam war.

Any other views?

Across the Universe is a musical made out of various Beatles songs. The Beatles were a very good group that seemed to put symbolism into a good number of their songs, and they were definately not for war. Strawberry Fields, the song sung during this part, was a sort of protest against war.

If you remember I Want You, the scene with the army and Max going through the testing, you saw the army men looked fake, plastic. Basically it meant that the army was filled with people who didn't even seem human, people who were fake and cold.

If you look up Beatles symbolism you can find other views on some of the songs of the movie as well.

ok, here's the deal, I have a 30 yr old cousin. I'm 16, We've always been really close but now there's a problem. I'm in love with him. no it's not a crush. I've felt like this for the past year. Right now, this is extremely illegal. I really don't like this either way, but I have no room to judge you since I don't know you personally. But this is still illegal.

What I suggest is waiting a few years until you become 18 (when relations with an older man wouldn't be illegal) and still see if you feel the same way. I don't think there are laws against being with second cousins either, but you may have to look that one up. Or go south.

But whether you can or you can't, please wait until you are legal in government's eyes before you two do anything or both of you may end up in deep trouble.

I'm 17/f and my boyfriend is 19. we've been dating for about a year now, and we're pretty serious about each other.

he swore into the navy a couple weeks ago. he'll be in it for about 5-6 years.
as it stands, we've said we are going to stay together while hes gone for now. unless something comes up etc.
its a lot of time though.
should we stay together?
dont say i should experience dating others--im not going for that reason.

If you really feel strongly for him and believe it will work, then stay with him. If you're just doing it because you're afraid to be without him then you really shouldn't, but its your choice. It all comes down to the feelings you have for him.

Example, my cousin's boyfriend (now husband) went to Iraq over a year ago. They only get to see each other once a year, but my cousin still feels very strongly for him and doesn't even think of leaving him.

i'm 16/f. the Nuva Ring is my first form of birth control that i'm trying. i just put it in on February 7. the info about it saysu should use some other form of birth control during the first week. of course i didn't do that. within the first 5 days, my b/f and i had sex and he "came" inside me. we had sex on Valentine's Day, of course, and then on Saturday night. on saturday night, he "came" inside me and when he was finished, he noticed the Nuva Ring was around his penis. is there a chance that i could be pregnant? my friend said no but i'm not sure.
it seems to me that my boobs are a lil bigger but that could just be me.

There is a chance, but you should get a pregnancy test sometime next week just to be sure. If it came out and you didn't completely follow the instructions there is a slight chance at pregnancy.
