i have a coldsore or a fever blister on my lip & its very infected. i've been putting blistex on it but it doesnt seem to help the pain. the sore is now like almost turing scabby but it's yellow. any home remedies to help the pain & the sore? thanks in advice! :) (link)

i used to get those a lot, unfortunatley it's not going to go away over night. but putting ice in a plastic bag and pressing on it help the swelling and dries it up a little faster. but i use abreva, it's kind of expensive but it works really well. you can get it at wal mart or wallgreen's, almost anywhere.
but if you get cold sores/fever blisters a lot, you should go to the dermatologist. they can prescribe you a pill for them. they work wonders i'm telling ya!

Okay so at my school, I have been insulted so many times, over all these things. I have been insulted for my style, the music I listen to, how 'ugly' I am, etc. etc.
And it just hurts to hear all these things, and yes I have gone to a principal just once, and I was called a snitch and things just got worse. So what should I do about being verbally harrassed?

i know exactly how you feel. truth is, it's not going to get better if people know it bothers you. when you hear something about you just shrug it off. it takes time to do that but it works. when you hear something just be like thats cool whatever. as long as you're ok with yourself then you don't need any one elses opinion

i use my work laptop on the road and at home. Do you know another url into my space. I know some sites have a sec url to use there site When i type in, www.myspace.com. My browser re- directs to the company’s home page. This is only happen on my laptop, not others in the office. Do you know where this is blocked on my laptop? The IT guy was doing some work on my laptop yesterday and blocked to be a pain in the ass. Hey don’t get onto my laptop that often. He was adding a new printer for me. (link)

i say go with some christina aguilera, her voice is so much more beautiful then britney's. and for the song, go with "beautiful". everyone can relate to it somehow, and people will enjoy that they can.

i have to write an eassy on a socail issue. i was thinking about teen sex and pregancy about pros and cons about it. the more i think about it the more it makes me think that i couldnt write an eassy about. my question is
1) is it possible to write an eassy about that?
2) what is a good social issue that isnt as known? like abortion i know a lot of perople that are going to do it.

i'm doing a research paper on teen issues. the topic i chose was eating disorders. so far i've twritten 4 pages on it. i think this is a really good topic to write about and there are tonnnnns of references so it won't be hard to come up with things to write. also, there are more than just one eating disorder so it gives you different paragraphs.

lots of shaving cream, gilette is the best. and once you're done shaving, rinse with cold water so bumps won't be irritated. and when you finish shaving, put pimple/acne cream. it might sting but it prevents the bumps from coming.
wow i feel like the biggest pervert. but it works!

I'm thinking about getting a perm. If anyone has ever gotten one could you tell me if you liked it or not? Or the pros and cons of it. And what is more "in style" these days, straight or wavy hair? (link)

i've had three perms. here are the pros and cons:
pros:
-less time spent on fixing your hair
-no heat applied to your hair (straighteners, curling irons etc.)
-you can still straighten it if you really want to though
-lasts 3-7 months (depends how fast your hair grows)
cons:
- the smell when it's first done
- frizz if you don't put in gel or hair products
- you have to use a comb rather than a brush
- once the perm grows out, your hair is curly at the bottom and the top is straight and clings to your head
but there's pros and cons on any style hair. if you do decide to get a perm, ask for different sized curls. some loose, some tight. bring in a picture of how you most want it to look, and the hair stylist can usually determine how loose or tight to make the curls. and if the perm doesn't turn out how you wanted it to, you can always get a relaxer put in it. but i hope you enjoy it!

jusr be yourself. if a girls doesn't like how you are, then that's not the girl for you. but i guarantee you, every girl likes a funny guy, so if you have a good sense of humor keep that up!
also, get to know the girl you like really good, you guys will probably have some of the same interests and you can find more oppurtunities to hang out with her.

i am not much of a singer at all. i would like some tips on improveing the sound that comes out of my voice when i sing. when i sing i can't hit any notes and it almost sounds like its not singing at all...more talking, or just not a pretty sound. i need some first steps to just improving my voice. i heard that it's not possible to be tone deaf, it's just an expression, so how can i make my voice sound like a normal singing vouce instead of a horrible sound? (please do not say singing lessons, just things i can do on my own please!) (link)

If you're willing to put out some money, you could take voice lessons. Also, you need to be able to know the differece between your head voice and your voice coming from your diphragm. Your head voice is typically used for high notes. Your other voice, is for i guess what you would call 'normal singing'. You just take a breath through your stomach, do not breath up, breath out. It's confusing at first but you can probably get the hang of it. Also, figure out what type of voice you have (soprano, alto, etc.)
But i reallllly recommend voice lessons, i promise they work even though it takes some time.

i have a creative muvo n200. and it only plays MP3 format of music. the problem is, all of my music on the computer is in WMA format. so is there something i can get to upgrade my player? or how do i easily change the format of every cd in WMA to MP3?

this is a program that allows you to convert wma's into mp3's. it's free to download unless you want to consider purchasing it. i've used this to convert songs from wma's to mp3's and they convert within seconds. hope this helped.

It usually depends on your hair texture. if you have straight hair, you could just use a detangler or a leave-in conditioner. if you have curly hair (like i do) then i suggest using a product called "Biolage shine renewal". it makes your hair shine, and no tangles! i bought it at wal-mart and it's not expensive either, hope that helps.

I'm 16/f and my bf is 17/m. Sometimes he acts soooo immature and after a while it gets annoying.
The other day I was at his house and he was acting like a little kid making random noises, talking about burping, jumping around like his house was a trampoline, and making stupid comments about everything.
So I said, "Stop acting like a five year old and grow up. I swear you act like my little brother"
I guess that kind of upset him because he didn't really talk to me after that. And today, he had an away message up that said "'acting like a 5-year-old' with Mike hit the cell"
I don't know if I should apologize or what because I know I might have hurt his feelings but I feel like he needs to know that he can't act like that all the time. What should I do?

well, if he would give you a chance to apologize then i say go for it. and like you said, he can't act like that all the time, so just explain that you like hanging out with him but sometimes he needs to act 17, and not 10.

well if you have dsl, you can stay on aim for a while (obviously). so what i do is go to start>log off> switch user. and i don't shut down the computer either. the next time i log on AIM is right where i left it. you could try that and if it doesn't work then i'm sorry.
