i need help i just got a laptop but when ever i liek close it like shut it it closes my aim!! and i doont wangt it to help me

well if you have dsl, you can stay on aim for a while (obviously). so what i do is go to start>log off> switch user. and i don't shut down the computer either. the next time i log on AIM is right where i left it. you could try that and if it doesn't work then i'm sorry.
